Purchased a platypus license plate mount a couple years ago and recently sold the vehicle. My new car was the same make, but newer and a different model. The hex stud should have fit but it was determined the thread is now reversed. James at Craven found me a new hex stud and then installed it and fit the plate to make sure there were no sensor issues. Great product and amazing support.

The customer service at CravenSpeed is outstanding! Thom Douglas went above and beyond to ensure that he mailed me the correct bracket for my Fiat 500 Pop Turbo. Thom sent me two different fittings to ensure the Platypus License Plate Bracket would adequately fit my car. The package arrived at my doorstep from Oregon in two short days, and I live on the east coast. Thom even sent me paid postage to return the piece that I did not need. I am mega impressed, and I do not say that, too often.CravenSpeed defines how first-class customer service should look, and I cannot emphasize how much I appreciate Thom's professionalism. I asked Thom a thousand questions, and he was nothing but patient and understanding, which made me an instant fan of CravenSpeed. Anyone who manages a business or leads a sales team should take a page from Thom's customer service book. It is clear to me that Thom does customer service right during every employee-customer contact. He exemplifies the belief that excellent products + a fair price + superb customer service = a customer for life.As for the Platypus License Plate Bracket, I love it! The bracket fits my Fiat 500 Pop perfectly, is super easy to install, and does not rub against the front bumper. Therefore, the bracket does not scuff the bumper during driving. Best of all, I did not have to violate the integrity of my brand new bumper by drilling two unsightly looking holes to mount a factory bracket.Thank you, Thom and CravenSpeed. You are awesome!

I needed a way to mount my license without drilling holders into my car. The tow hook worked out perfectly! My first shipment never seemed to go out so I emailed them and they were quick to respond and get a new one out for me. Installation was so simple I did it myself in less than 3 minutes.

I ordered the platypus license plate frame for my Porsche. It was built to use the tow hook. The part fit perfectly, but the sensor covers did not work on the Panamera. I contacted Danielle and she recommended the frame for the front grill and it worked perfectly as well. Quality of product is high and no need to block any parking sensors. Great customer service.

Great customer service! Asked about a noise for my shifter and they replied with great help and even sent out something to help the noise and a couple stickers I requested! Would 100% recommend this company to another person! Quality service and products. Shout out to Danielle for the service!

I was recently issued a warning for running no front license plate on my 2007 BMW Z4 M Coupe, I purchased a Platypus mount because I have owned a couple Stubby antennas and never been disappointed by their simplicity and quality.Unfortunately only the base model of my car was listed on the site and the front bumper is shorter than the M model which I wasn't aware of; admittedly I was a bit frustrated when I first attempted installation.I e-mailed CravenSpeed's CS and they promptly sent me an extended stud with a return label for the first. The new stud fit perfectly, and I couldn't have asked for more from them. I would recommend any of CravenSpeed's products to anyone looking for grade-A quality backed by stellar customer service.

I shopped many competitive front plate no-drill holders and the Platypus was clearly the best. Others felt loose, wouldn't stay tight so would rotate, and had longer tow hooks, so stuck out too far from the front of the car. The Platypus is a great fit and secure - stays snug to the car but doesn't touch. And compared to the other vendors I dealt with this, CravenSpeed is top notch. Other vendors have disconnected phone numbers or shipped the wrong size tow hook (twice). The Platypus is a great fit for my 2016 SLK 350.

Ordered couple of GoPro mount for my cars. Upon reception I discover that the studs were shorter than expected despite I ordered the right parts number for my cars (looks like European BMW cars require longer studs than US ones). Contacting CravenSpeed support, Danielle has been extremely responsive and immediately sent me over 2 longer studs free of charge. I just received them and everything is fine. Extremely good build quality and extremely good customer service. I strongly recommend. Thanks again Danielle!

This is one top notch business! I had a issue with an order and contacted them by email. I received an immediate response and the issue was fixed same day. I purchased the AntennaX to replace an antenna that was taken from our work van. It gets amazing AM and FM reception and it looks great.

If I could give these folks 6 stars I would. Their website is efficient, their products are superior and their customer service cannot be matched. They have stuff for all makes & models, but have a ton of Mini Cooper stuff. I do not think you can find a better product or better service ANYWHERE!

It s very rare these days to get EXCELLENT customer service. I did not receive the package that USPS confirmed delivering. I reached out to the company immediately after receiving their delivery confirmation and they responded favorably with no hesitation sending out a second package. Because the response quick and receptive I recommend doing business with Cravenspeed with no hesitation. Their tops in my book. Thanks so much.

The quality and service at CravenSpeed is outstanding!! I showed up 10 minutes before closing time, only to realize that they were only open for pick up. Tom at the shop not only helped me place an order and immediately get my license plate mount, he also helped me set it up and adjust it so that the sensors wouldn t get triggered. All of this while it was past their shop hours and while it was raining! I didn t expect that they d help me set it up and adjust it, I wish everybody and everything was as good as you amazing peeps and your products. Thank you so much!!

I found them on a competitors review page. Cravenspeed's web site is excellent and they have extremely high quality products. I ordered easily online, it shipped immediately and I have a new Platypus license plate mount. could not be happier!

Used the site s vehicle selector but they still sent me the antenna for the 2500 instead of the 1500. One simple email is all it took to have the correct one shipped and the fit is perfect!

Listen up Gearheads: I had the pleasure of ordering with these wonderfully helpful people on amazon. Of course things can get mixed at time and I got an installion mounting rod that was too long for my car. Took me one email and less than a day before I had Thom handling the issue! Then sent me multiple fittings as I have a special bumper making the match hard. The correction package was to my house in 2 days! I even received a follow up email making sure I was completely happy with my purchase. They sent me paid postage to return the other mounts and was polite and respectful the whole time! Oh and they actually speak English fluently so customer service wasn t a yelling match with someone 1000s of miles away! Highly recommend this company! Price is worth the product and service by far over the cheap overseas knockoffs! I will buy again for my next car!

I bought a 2 stubby for my car and I had a weird metal lip on my fender receiver so the thread didn t reach. Sent and email and within a day I heard back from Danielle and she asked a couple questions, I sent back some pictures and info and same day they had a new thread piece in the mail for me. Excellent customer service, excellent product, cant say enough good things about them

Amazing company!! I had a tow hook front license plate bracket for my 2018 Allroad, got a new 2021 Allroad and the post mount is just a few short of clearing the bumper. Instead of making me purchase a while new set up, they are sending me a new post and will recycle my old one. Highly recommend for anyone wanted to preserve the front grill of their vehicle while clearing any of the front parking aid sensors. Thanks Danielle!

These folks run an incredible operation. As I ve switched cars rather frequently (and a bit shamefully), I order platypus plates since I don t want to pay out any more citations for missing a front plate. They ve always been incredibly quick in shipping and this last order, it was missing a component. They shipped one out the same day I reported it and I received it a few days later. Can t ask for much better customer service than that!

I have two of the Platypus license plate mounts for my BMW and Porsche...Well designed and built and definitely worth the investment versus inferior alternatives out there. I recently needed some help and called Cravenspeed and spoke with Derek who was super nice and took care of me.
