Pat and the whole crew has been amazing! Called in the mornings and got my car serviced the same day (got lucky!) We had our brake pads replaced and brake fluid changed. Reasonable price, excellent craft, and amazing communication! Definitely recommend people coming here for service.

I had a wonderful experience with Cooke's Brake Service! Friendly, on-time and reasonably priced. I had a very good feeling when I left. I enjoy giving small businesses work and keeping it in the community.

I wont go anywhere else to get my brakes done. They are fast and affordable, as well as being very personable and kind. It was my second visit to Cooke's for brakes and they didnt disappoint. Expect to be treated fairly, receive honest, straightforward service by a group of respectful and reliable individuals.

I've been here a couple times for brake work. The first time was a couple years ago -- I just called around and they had the best price. They were friendly, professional, helpful, and clear about what work they were doing and why. They also recommended waiting in some cases, because it didn't need to be done yet. The next time I came in, same thing -- free review of the brakes, recommended I come back in a few months for one set and said the others would last another year or so. They also fixed a car door problem I'd had looked at many times before and was told it would be expensive to fix (they did say it probably wouldn't last, but still! Honesty and helpfulness!). Definitely recommend

The folks who work here are some of the nicest, most honest folks you could ask for. They are very knowledgeable and very kind about any problem you bring them, and if they can't do it, they won't lie and try to trick you either. Quality service and quality people!

First and foremost, Cooke's is good people. Secondly, their quote was lower, by quite a bit. Service didn't suffer because of the lower price. They took real good care of me. I'll be back.

Wow! I have never had a better experience at a car mechanics shop than at Cookes! And I'm an old man! Pat was the most informative and friendly mechanic i've EVER had the pleasure of dealing with. He told me exactly what my truck needed and also what it didn't. The price was fair and they got me in quickly and performed the work fast! I'm very impressed!

Janet, Pat, Ryan and Grampa make this an absolute gem of a find!! Not only is it run by a family, it is truly a family affair in this shop, because you ll be treated like one of their own, in true down-home fashion. I went to have my daughter s brakes done (Jiffy Lube told me I needed new ones), and believe it or not, ' , "! When have you ever brought your car in only to have them say, you don t need anything?! Thank you Cooke s I ll be back when we do, and I ll be telling all my friends how impressed I was with your above and beyond service!

I took my very hard-working Mazda3 to Cooke's after getting a pretty wild quote from a major chain. They were very friendly and it was easy to schedule an appointment over the phone. At the appointment, I was walked through the whole brake job, they explained everything and gave me a quote. I was totally happy with the quote, gave the go ahead and the car was completely finished 3 1/2 hours later, with new pads, a brake bleed, and a minor caliper repair. I picked the car up, gave it a real stress test - perfect brakes, passed all tests. I am a professional driver and my car transports not only myself but my passengers as well, and as such I insist on the highest quality parts and service. I believe I have found that with Cooke's and they have made a lifetime customer today. I really appreciate their work ethic, expertise, competitive pricing, and friendliness. Thank you!!!

Family owned & operated local small business. The employees are honest, communicate well & explain things in layman's terms, work quickly & efficiently & don't try to upsell you unnecessary parts or services. Honest, Professional, Friendly, No nonsense, Old school guys. Had some brake noise so I brought it in to Cooke's after making an appointment online. They took a good look at the brakes for no cost! I had initially thought the fronts had issues but it was definitely the rears.No upsells, just telling me how it is and how much it will cost to fix it. Significantly less expensive than the chain places and dealership. When I actually get a chance to get repairs done, I look forward to working with these guys again. Highly recommended.

Friendly, straight to the point, and judgement free. I let my car go a little too long without getting my brakes/rotors done and had a bit of anxiety about bringing it in, but everyone I spoke with was super friendly and just cared about getting my car back to tip-top condition. The price was also better than what my dealership quoted me. These guys are definitely going to be my brake guys from now on as long as I'm in the area.

I knew I needed front brakes. Wasn't sure about back. Called a few places and this was the best combination of speed, honesty, price, and service. Was able to bring it in right then and there. Had a bit of food across the street at the pub and fronts were done in 2.5 hrs. Very happy!

Cooke s is absolutely the best shop around, and they do so much more than just brakes! I have been bringing my car to them for several years, and they always give me an honest and fair rundown of any issues. They won t replace anything that doesn t need to be replaced in fact they made sure I checked my service record before they replaced my timing belt, rather than just replacing it based on mileage. They are quick and always great at communicating. I highly recommend Cooke s for a trusty all around mechanic!

For 30 years we have trusted this wonderful family owned business to keep us safe. They always tell us if and when we need brake work. Even though we no longer live nearby, it's worth the drive for us to have them do our brakes. They have never upsold us, and always charge a fair price. I wish I could find a mechanic I trust like them!!!

Excellent experience. Talked to Pat through the whole process from booking to completion. The cost was beyond fair, the job was done in a few hours, and they warned me of an issue I was previously unaware of just as a reminder, not trying to upsell me. Good honest people at Cooke's

Overall great experience! I m from out of town and felt like other mechanics were trying to take advantage of me by recommending unnecessary work at outrageous prices. Pat was great at communicating and did great work at a great price. I dropped my car off in the morning and had my car back by lunch. Amazing commutation and quality work! Highly recommend!

I had a remarkably fine experience at Cooke's today. I was greeted by the friendliest folks who really understand their business. They were straightforward and honest and fair minded. When I referred to a competitor they showered compliments on this person with an uncommon generosity. All in all I give this place the heartiest commendation. The quality work and fair prices and general cheerfulness would bring me back to their job without hesitation.
