Step into the world of craftsmanship ... like going back 50 years in time. Kyle repaired the tent from our hybrid travel trailer ... a 15 seam had to be opened up, the pvc clip replaced and then the edge resewn while I waited for less than 45 min ... awesome to not have to drop off and return ... charged a flat 1 hr rate as quoted which was very fair. Workmanship appears good ... will reinstall tomorrow. Had a beautiful 2002 and 944 in the shop that they were installing new headliner door panels and upholstery in ... very nice work.Highly recommended for auto upholstery, canvas tent repair etc.

Took my 1984 Nissan 4x4 here to get the seats reupholstered. Not the cheapest quote I got you get what you pay for and from the moment I got on the phone with these guys I knew they were the real deal. They were really helpful and patient with me finding swatches that would match my interior. When I picked my car up I noticed they added adjustable lumbar support to the drivers seat! Not only do the seats look great they are way more comfortable then the factory seats. I wouldn t go anywhere else if you want the job done right. It s not often I write reviews but these guys earned it with their great service and quality work.

A great experience! Had some work done on my 03 BMW and it turned out perfect. They even went the extra mile helping me get a little gutter piece fixed up. I would recommend to anyone interested in a local shop that cares about their work! When it was all done, I ended up with an almost completely rebuilt frame on my 2011 Camaro convertible with new top, seals, etc. Bud Clary did it the first time and did a HORRIBLE job. Just about a year after Bud Clary did it, it went into nuclear meltdown and I had to have it done again. Bud Clary paid for it, but made it very difficult to get stuff done. All in all my car was in the shop for 15 weeks. Partly because of Bud Clary and partly because of the complexity of the frame and amount of damage that was done to it. Joe did an absolutely amazing job and explained areas that Bud Clary did things wrong and how it was supposed to be done. I'd give this more than 5 stars for workmanship if I could, but overall only 4 stars just because it took much longer than I was originally planning for. At the end of the day, it looks GREAT! Thank you Joe!

Was replacing my own convertible top and I hit a snag near the end this place looked at it said it was the staples and wanted to charge me $1200 which is more than the entire installation fee. Took it to a second place they told me I was missing a part and I fixed the problem in 20 minutes. They almost cost me $1200.

Short version: They solved my problem for what I consider a reasonable cost, and were great to deal with overall... Longer version: My Miata had water in the trunk from an apparently leaking roof; the Dealer said is was the rain rail. I tried to clean out the drains, that didn't do it. Long story short, Bright worked me in on a reasonable schedule, spent a good amount of time, and confirmed it was simply very clogged rain rail (and drains) and not a leaking rain rail or top. Less than $100 for hour(s) of work by a couple of people, and helpful advice/resources as well. If/when I have to replace my soft top, I'm very likely to choose Bright to do the work.

The Bright Auto Upholstery team does amazing work! We found this shop five years ago when we wanted some custom upholstery done on a C7 Corvette. The results were exactly what we were looking for. Workmanship was fine. It was an easy job, some after market leather skins to be installed, and old ones removed. Be aware you want to get your quote in WRITING. I called at spoke with mike and was told first that my install would cost $250. I clarified that the front and back seats needed to be done, and he said $350. Job was completed and the bill was presented for $570. Since I didn't have it in writing, I was screwed. Left very unhappy, would not recommend

I used Bright Auto Upholstery for replacing a soft top on my Mercedes 560 SL. They did an exceptional job with the soft top, patiently answered all of my questions, and provided a fair cost for the work. Got my VW van canvas top replaced here and couldn't be happier. Great customer service from start to finish. The professional staff answered all my questions and were pleasant to deal with before and after the day of the work. I wouldn't think twice about recommending them or using them again.

I found these guys by accident when I was looking for a short piece of trim on a boat project, the wholesaler sells the trim by the 100 foot roll and I only needed 5 feet. They had it and sold it to me at a very reasonable price. Now I just purchased a 2002 Silverado with leather seats and the drivers seat was breaking down on the bolster and some seams and the padding were failing. I was quoted $385 and one day in the shop. The job was perfect, leather matched color and grain and they even welded up a broken brace and still came in on budget and the truck was ready at 4:30. I will certainly use Bright again and recommend them.

Mike put a new top on my 350Z and did a great job. I shopped around and finding a good upholstery shop is not easy. He has been in business for 44 years and he was $300 less then the competition. I am very happy and glad I chose Bright.

If you have a mechanical problem with your convertible top, take it to Bright for service. My Sebring top made a scary loud noise recently as it went down, and no shop I called would look at it until I called Joe. Of course when I got to the shop, it would not replicate. But, Joe noticed a slight offset causing a trim rub and showed me how to adjust the bumpers to take care of that. He inspected everything else, found it in working order, and suggested a few adjustments if noises reccurred. No charge, but acccepted a gratuity. Far better service than I could have expected at a dealership at much less cost.

I was having a problem with the convertible top on my car so I searched online looking for a place that knows convertible tops. Somehow I landed on Bright Upholstery so I decided to call and see if they could help. Mike (the owner) answered and listened patiently as I described as best I could the problem I was having with my top. Not only was he extremely helpful but he invited me to stop by so they could take a look.I showed up at Bright Upholstery and Mike's son Joe greeted me and had me bring my car in out of the rain. After a short time, Joe figured it out, fixed my car's top and I was on my way!These guys are extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly! I will definitely return in the future with any of my auto upholstery & convertible top needs!

What a terrible business. Delay after delay after delay, then when it was finally 'ready', they'd installed the canopy on my vanagon backwards, and used the wrong material to line the door panels. The owner refused to fix the canopy until I'd gotten the manufacturer of the canopy to review photos and confirm the obvious, that it was done backwards! And then getting it done properly, no surprise, was full of more delays. The owner was so very friendly when selling me the service, assuring me that this was something they did often and would have no trouble getting done on time, and then completely rude, hard to reach, and disinterested when things went wrong. Looks like others have had similar experiences. Do anything you can to avoid using this business - you'll thank me later.

Sadly I waited 6 months for my upholstery. They never returned my calls or even answered the phone. I had to go there to get them to talk to me. It was only partially done with lots of excuses. I took my stuff and had someone else finish it. So disappointed in them. They had done another classic car of mine which was promised in a month and it took three. Don't bother trying to get a quote via their Web page. Useless - They send you an email saying they will get to you soon - BS - I have sent two requests both of which have been ignored for over a month. I was going to call them on it but why. There are too many other auto upholstery shops that are willing to quote me for the entire interior of my car, accept the job, and take my money. Don't waste your time with a place like this that can't even respond to you requests for a quote.

So I brought in a few console pieces from my car. I even bought and brought the material to have it finished with. I was told the job would only take a couple days. I let him know I d come back in a week. 7 days later i stopped in to pickup my console pieces... they hadn t even started on them. I said hey no big deal I understand, what kind of realistic time frame are we looking at to get this finished %100 . He said give me a couple more days. Ok... 8 days later I come in and they hadn t started on it still... so I grabbed up all of my stuff and put up this review. Don t make a deadline if you can t stick to it.I can t attest to the type of work they do here because they never did anything ecpt waste my time.I recommend going anywhere else but here.

Really enjoyed my experience with BAU. Great staff that were more than happy to explain work to be done. Quick turn around with quality work. It's apparent they take pride in their craft and customer service. I look forward to working with them again.

Unbelievably awesome work. New leather seat. Top notch customer service. Jeep JK. Vinyl floors and no carpet!!!! Perfect job. Highly recommend Bright Auto Upholstery

I had the fold down portion of the from seat reupholstered...matches the original material and pleats, and now it looks just like new! Very happy with the quality and speed of the service I received.

Excellent repair to Lexus drivers seat. Leather matched perfectly and they completed the job the same day. These guys are pros.

Very honest people they haven't done any work because my van was wrecked but they explained how Kia and some others are putting cheap faulty fabric in their cars
