Eric and the team always take care of me when I bring my car in. His team has a wealth of knowledge and are very professional. They are quality so they stay booked and busy, yet they will work to get you in as soon as possible and try to be flexible to work with you. When you have a luxury vehicle it won't be cheap. They have fair prices that are much better than the dealer and have always been upfront about the work being needed on the car. Thank you guys and I would recommend this place if you want quality work done for a fair deal.

I had Boyd's do a pre-purchase review for a 2018 BMW and I am very satisfied. They were honest, friendly and professional. On my way to the dealer to buy the car I stopped by as I had a question on the review (and I wanted to see where they were located).When I got there, another customer got there just before I did and she was thanking them for performing the correct and necessary repairs and saving her a couple of thousand dollars over what a BMW dealer had recommended (I asked her about it before she left). And Eric patiently answered my questions to my complete satisfaction.Whether or not I use their services in the future (location is very inconvenient for me) I highly recommend this shop.

This was an amazing experience! Eric took great attention and care to address issues the dealership had told me were wrong with my vehicle. The cost was less than the dealer, and one of the issues was determined NOT to be an issue so I saved a lot of money and stress. They took care of the repair the next day and even followed up to make sure everything was going well with my car. Super happy and will go back if I ever need more than an oil change on my car.

Look no further for a repair shop after your BMW is out of warranty.. Boyd s is absolutely the only place to take your vehicle for any service. Eric , the owner will do everything perfectly and he will not look for more issues like all the shops in Portland . I have never had anyone who has perfectly taken care of my auto. Most importantly he will never look for other things to be repaired. I drive my car, but Eric owns the repair rights to my car.

For anyone seeking top-notch BMW service, I highly recommend Eric at Boyd Motor Werks. Eric is a trustworthy professional with exceptional service quality and fair pricing. He made my experiences consistently positive especially after having multiple negative experiences at BMW Portland - in fact the only regret I have is not finding Eric s shop sooner to save me the money I wasted at BMW Portland - seriously don t go there :). If you're looking for a reliable professional, Eric is the go-to choice for BMW maintenance and repairs.

So, I just wanted to give a shout out to Boyd Motor Werks for outstanding service. After a few years of getting gouged at the BMW dealerships I came across Boyd Motor Werks and never went back.A perfect example of the difference was a couple of years ago when my thermostat failed. Had I gone to a dealership I'm sure they would have convinced me to replace the water pump at the same time which would have costed me hundreds of dollars more. Eric insisted this was not necessary. I knew then and there that this was an honest shop.BMW's are great cars but they need scheduled maintenance if you want them to last. And to be frank, they aren't the cheapest vehicles to maintain. I think you will find you this shop to be highly skilled at what they do and you won't leave feeling you have been violated like I used to feel every time I left a BMW dealership. Prost to Eric and his crew!

Eric and his team have been the shop I trust with all my work for years. Eric has always been someone I can depend on to give me a fair price and a high quality of service.His team has always done excellent work and I have never had to return for something that wasn't done right the first time. Eric has taken care of me and my e30 for over a year now. I trust him hands down 300% of the time. He s extremely knowledgeable and a true expert in the field. Not to mention his avid love for these cars just makes a world of a difference when you need a trusted mechanic to help.

5 stars across the board. From the initial phone call to the on site visit, to recommendation and information provided. It was a more than satisfactory and exceptional experience. Eric has to be one of the most calming and professional individuals I have come across. Incredibly empathetic and overwhelmingly well versed in all things BMW. And you can tell that the same quality and standard is with his entire team. If you have a BMW, I would strongly recommend bringing it here.

I've been taking my 2014 X1 to Boyd Motor Werks since the factory warranty expired. Eric operates the shop with honesty and integrity. It's comforting knowing I can trust his advice and rely on fair prices. He stands by their work and has comp'd me when BMW refused to reimburse for recall work they performed, and more recently for two ignition coils (just out of kindness).Sadly they only service BMWs, I wish I could take my other vehicle here.

I have used Boyd's for the last several years for my 2013 535 and they have been awesome to work with. Eric is honest and trustworthy and goes the extra mile to take care of people. They do quality work and prices are fair. I came here after dealing with the dealership and never looked back. I would 100% recommend this shop to everyone I know and will definitely bring any BMW I own.

I've been bring my 2008 BMW here since the warranty was up. The crew at Boyd always gives me a heads up on work I will need to do in the near future and their rates are fair and reasonable. It's always the same friendly crew when I arrive. I am never hit with surprise extra charges. They are just great, hard-working mechanics that are experts on BMW! I"m so thrilled I found a much better alternative to expensive dealer service that is just as good if not better!

I brought my 1986 635csi to these guys and they did a fantastic job. The car underwent some pretty major suspension refresh. They replaced just about every component you can think of under the car for me. They were priced fairly and kept me up to date on the status of the car and my expectations. Eric Knows his stuff and is proud of his company. My gas cap went missing during the service and he replaced with a new one and an original one free of charge. Overall I was Very Happy I recommend these guys for any modern or vintage BMW.Service: Steering & suspension replacement

*Beware* - dishonest service and up-charging.$228 to review an engine noise and be told nothing is wrong .Visited Boyd Motor Werks on 8/12/22. Asked them to review my car due to an unusual engine noise. When I picked up my car, I was informed of a $228 charge for the review.I was not informed of the cost of service beforehand nor called after the initial review to confirm that I d like them to proceed with a more in-depth look at the vehicle (1.5 hour labor).No one had called me to authorize work and inform me of the cost. I was told this is standard. It s not. I don t recommend this shop.

Honestly the best experience I've ever had with a shop. Eric is such a stand up guy. Brought in a BMW from a less than perfect sale. Every time I've taken it into the shop they have been fair, fast, honest and most of all their work is good. My car has come back better after each visit.If you care about your BMW take it here.Services: Engine repair, Oil change

Eric, Gary and the crew at Boyd's have worked on my Mini and my BMW. They have factory trained mechanics who do it right the first time. They work by appointment and explain the work they need to do. I just took my BMW in for a pre trip inspection, thinking it was time for brakes. They checked it out and told me I'm good to go. They told me I'd be due for an oil change when I got back from the trip. Honest and reliable!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine tuning, Brakes, Oil change

My wife and I are thrilled that we found Boyd Motor Werks shortly after we moved to Portland. We were dreading our BMW's next service for the amount of time and money we thought it would take, not to mention our usual annoyance that we would feel leaving a BMW dealership. Our experience at Boyd was fantastic. They not only solved our problem, but anticipated a developing one, fixed both quickly and at a cost substantially less than what the dealership and other shops said it would be. On top of that the people there are friendly and professional. They've made the whole experience easier.

Eric and the team go above and beyond every time. If you want honest, knowledgeable and friendly service for your BMW at fair prices this is the place to go. Have been to a bunch of garages in the Portland area, but once I found Boyd it is the only place I will take my cars. Currently on my third BMW with them. Very highly recommended!

This shop is THE only shop I would ever trust my BMW with for any service. I ve been a customer for over 4 years and have experienced nothing but exceptional service from the moment I arrive to the moment I leave. The technicians are highly skilled, and the customer service is above and beyond. I have moved out of state and still will drive up to have my car serviced here! I've be more than happy with the work done by Boyd on my current X3 and my previous 325. Though they are usually very busy, Gary and Eric have been great about getting me in for a quick check whenever something seems amiss, and then following up ASAP to undertake any needed repairs. I think their prices are reasonable for the high quality of work they provide, and my bill has always matched my estimate (or even been a bit lower). Most importantly, they have always been both very respectful of my vehicles and my time, and very up front and honest. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Took our Mini in and they managed to diagnose and repair an issue caused by the dealership we bought it from and gave me some very useful information. Timely and honest mechanics are hard to come by, so they're stuck with us now.

Gary and his crew are professional and provide excellent customer service. If you value the high degree of expertise that comes with decades of experience working on a vast array of BMW's, you will appreciate the advise and quality of work that comes out of this shop. Honesty, integrity, and superior knowledge base are the terms that come to mind when I describe my Boyd Motor Werks experience to others. I wouldn't bring my old BMW anywhere else.

I have taken my BMWs to this shop for years and will continue to do so for years to come. In addition to the owners Gary and Eric, all of the mechanics are very well trained. This is a very honest shop, providing accurate information on what you need to know about your car, clarifying what should necessarily be attended to and why, with all work always completed at a good price especially given the quality of service.

I don't usually use the terms auto mechanic and trustworthy in the same sentence, but I will with Eric and Boyd Motor Werks. I have owned several BMW's over the past 20 years and recently passed my 2005 530! down to my son who lives in Portland. We needed some repairs and took it to Eric as he was honest about the service needed and offered a fair price for the repairs. Unfortunately after the service was completed, we had another issue that we couldn't determine if it was a result of the repairs or a new problem. Eric and his team took complete responsibility that the new issue was corrected and did so at his time and expense. Having a mechanic you can trust, and have faith won't take advantage of you, is uncommon these days, and I am extremely happy we found Eric and Boyd Motor Werks

Eric was super prompt and was delighted to take my couple phone calls the few days my E30 was at Boyd s. Ultra competitive pricing and they know their stuff on BMWs. Got my oil pan gasket done for a super fair value - job was done professionally and aquick turn around.Thanks Eric and co! No more oil drops on the driveway.
