Mechanics do good work. Front desk communicates well.Prices were a bit shocking. I'm not sure if the price of the part I had replaced could have more-than-doubled in the past few years, or there's a higher up-charge, or if this place charges more for labor than I'm used to. But this place would rate 5 stars if they were more affordable.

These guys (& gal) are AWESOME!!! Most places nowadays are 1-2 weeks out, but they got me in at the crack of dawn the next day! And I love the service - just like I got in the good old days - not presumptuous. Just good, honest people.

Best shop in town! Everyone from the front desk to the shop guys are amazing. They did great work and did it SUPER quick for a VERY reasonable price. 5 stars is NOT ENOUGH! I dropped my Envoy off with crummy broken shocks and a few hours later I have my car back and it rides like new!

I brought my 87 Dodge Roadtrek campervan to Andy s when it started stalling out. Although it wasn t news I wanted to hear, they were patient and so helpful and walked me through everything. They went above and beyond to get me back in the road as quickly as possible. Would highly recommend.Service: Carburetor cleaningService: Carburetor cleaning

Dropped off our car for an oil change and the parking lot is so small that tow trucks can t back in and damaged our car. Rick the guy in charge wouldn t take any blame when we trusted them to do a simple upkeep on our car. We were days from moving out of state, but now the car has a broken tail light. When he called the tow company on the phone he and the woman argued about what had been said. Super unprofessional. He himself said that someone ran over his gate backing out, because the lot is too small. Don t take your cars here.

Recently purchased a used vehicle by private owner. Needed a bit of work done. Andy's came highly recommended. The repairs were done in a timely manner and done well. Very friendly and knowledgeable employees and staff. Kept in good communication with me. Will be returning in the future if needed.

I got the dreaded "fail" for my first time when I went to DEQ for my check up to renew registration. Took my car with the DEQ paperwork that had the codes on it to a shop (which shall remain nameless) on the way home from the DEQ. They said I'd have to make an appointment and may possibly have to leave my car at the appointment because due to the nature of the code they'd likely have to take the car apart to see what it needed and then wait for parts to come in. So, I made the appointment. And in between called around and eventually someone recommended Andy's. They were able to get me in right away (same day!), took one look at the code and asked when I changed my oil last. I'm usually pretty good at regular maintenance, but turns out the oil was low. They topped it off, sent me on my way with recommendations to drive it a couple days before going back to the DEQ...and sure enough, it passed with flying colors! As a female car owner, it can be so hard to find a trustworthy mechanic, but after the experience at that other nameless shop (which I of course promptly cancelled my appointment with), Andy's has a new loyal customer in me. Highly recommend!!!

Had a very positive experience with Andy's recently. They were $800 less than any other place I called for replacing an AC air compressor. They even called me to ask me several questions to make sure they weren't doing anything unnecessary so it could be potentially less expensive for me. They didn't recommend anything extra that I didn't explicitly talk about. They had the car done within 24 hours. My AC is fixed and my new serpentine belt is quiet. Best mechanic experience I've had yet.Service: Air conditioning

When my car broke down, they got me in quickly. They were very efficient, did the work for a fair price, and I had my car back the same day that I dropped it off. Highly recommend them.

Very helpful and honest staff.I had my check engine light come on so I made an appointment for the next day. On my way the light turned back off. They still took a look, told me what they thought they problem was, and assured me it s safe to drive as-is but to come back if the light came back on and they would help me out!

It s really scary when something is wrong with your vehicle and you don t know what it is. I came in to Andy s hoping they would be able to figure out why my vehicle was shaking so badly. All four of my cylinders were misfiring. The lady at the front desk (Stephanie, I believe) was super nice to me and explained everything really well, they didn t make me feel like an idiot for being a female (which happens a lot at other places). They also fit me in the same day, which was something else I was worried about (how long it was going to take). Needless to say, they ve earned a repeat customer. I will be coming back here if I need more repairs done from now on.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning, Engine repair, Auto maintenance

Incredible service. Fair prices. Great staff. Knowledgeable and no pressure on things that need to be repaired. Needed a repair on a Saturday and told them how extremely crucial it was I got the repair that day so that I could deliver at night to make rent. They prioritized me, and made me feel valid.I will only go here for all my cat needs moving forward.

Been going to them for 20 yrs and saved me a lot of money and yea sometimes the estimate goes higher then told because you can not tell the problem until you open up the part that is why its called estimate.

If you ve got a repair you need done for an *honest & *fair price, go to Andy s. 6mo ago I took my car to a shop up the rd, they saw I was desperate & took advantage of me quoting $580 minimum. I then took it half a mile down the rd to Andy s and they looked at it plugged a couple things in & had me on my way in 10min for **FREE**. Came here ever since for everything else except for my prepaid oil change pcg ever sinceAndy s specializes in being an honest and fair mechanic. The mechanic s here sometimes come across a little bit rude but cut them some slack- they work 10+ Hours a dayStressed out customers that just had to bus it to the bank to cash out the little savings they have left on car repairs aren t always the nicest eitherRegardless if you prioritize customer service over honesty in a mechanic you probably wanna rethink your prioritiesServices: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning

Came in with my 2010 Lincoln Town Car referral from a friend. I had electrical smoke coming from under my battery box and car was dead in the water I was on a budget and took my car to Andy's Auto shop where I was greeted with a warm welcome and felt very comfortable. And after 3 weeks away she was finished blown starter 20 wires completely fried into 2 pieces repaired like new new interstate battery and for a great deal.

I brought my car in about a month ago for a check engine light. They said it was an engine thermostat issue. I got it fixed and they got it done the same day. A day later the light came back on. Brought it back they fixed the airbubble same day for free. A day later same thing. Fix take back then a day later same thing. I eventually ask hey is this okay to drive they say it is. I drive the following Monday I drop it off with them and they then tell me it is going to be a 1300 repair for a transmission thermostat. I say no way and call my warranty company. This is where the negatives for Andy really starts. The warranty company says this should be a $700 repair.. through BMW and would take significantly less time to do. I take it in to BMW. Turns out the engine thermostat that cost $400 to replace was covered under BMWs warranty for that part.Andys cost me unnecessary money and time. I will never be going back there due to the over charging overpriced and making me pay for parts that are covered by BMW.

The problem I had is they confidently told me that my AC could be fixed for no more than $150 over the phone and also when I brought it in. Customers need to be told that without looking under the hood, there's no telling how much a repair could cost. After the diagnostic, I got quoted over $400. I think they are either terrible communicators or like to get people in the door with promises of low cost repairs before upping the price after you've dropped off the car. Probably the latter. Whole experience felt shady and lacked professionalism. Avoid this place.

If you need honest auto repair quickly and as cheap as is possible, this is the place for you. When they have estimated time lines for me they are always accurate. Their quotes are realistic and I have never had a repair cost more than what was quoted. He doesn't have a huge waiting room with croissants and leathered couches with a TV playing Kardashians in the background, but that's not really what you're there for is it,?

Every single time we've used their service, our vehicles have had to go back to have the work corrected. In a recent case, poor parts and diagnosis of alternator and electrical distribution had led to 3 replacements of good alternators in less than 10 months. In order ro troubleshoot, they wanted to charge 100s for exploratory service. In addition they have no digital records of customers, either by customer name, vehicle plate or VIN, so make sure you keep your receipt!Don't go to them, is my recommendation!

Wonderful service, these guys (and girls) go above and beyond! Affordable, friendly, and fast. They diagnosed a power steering leak in less time than estimated, and actually passed the savings on to us. Highly recommended!

Will never go back there!!!Major repair-major expense.Had engine replaced in my 91 4-runner after it blew at 302,000. After all said and done the bill was around $7000!And guess what? The check engine light comes on everyday I drive it. Had this rig for about 10 years. Never did that before new engine. Not once did it ever come on. Now it s an everyday thing. I live 50+ miles from this shop. Been in three or four times( at my expense) to troubleshoot and cure this. They give me some song and dance about it s probably a problem in your wiring harness going to the knock sensor , yet it s a new engine AND knock sensor. And they refuse to fix it. Even told me I could fix it if I want to. What? Are you f.... ing kidding me?And with my luck-the loaner car they gave me broke down and kept overheating. Yea, lots of fun. A normal 45-60 drive takes 3 hrs because I had to stop way too many times to hike down to Columbia river to get water for cooling system to keep engine from blowing. They acted like it s no big deal!Previously before the repair, I asked them to save ALL parts that were removed and replaced( as I always do at every shop I go to , to prove that part was indeed replaced), and they agreed to do that. Did that happen? Of course not. Very simple requestjust to prove a shops honesty and interigity , right? And I had a water pump that had lifetime guarantee they replaced and I never saw again. All this taken into account-it s a risk doing business with this shop and I recommend you go elsewhere.I know exactly what other reviewers mean when they claim the owner stares at you with that deer caught in the headlights look. It s almost as though he is somewhere else and doesn t give you the answer you are looking for. What kind of man runs a shop like this? The owner of this business , that s who.And my vehicle was filthy when I got it back. Too many things happen in this business that ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE!Don t be sucked in to THIER bs.Please people-do yourself a grand favor and go elsewhere. Do you want to end up like me or any of the other dissatisfied customers AFTER you spend your hard earned dollars here???The owner needs to get a personality and some ethics.

I've been taking my car here for at least a couple of years. The service has gone downhill. I've taken it in for the same problem three times and they can never figure out what is going on. They fixed one issue and it broke immediately afterwards. So I obviously took it back they "fixed" it and it broke again. I've taken it to another mechanic and he's saying it's the same issue! So obviously they never fixed anything. They also promised same day service and didn't finish it in the same day which caused me to have to pay for an Uber to go home abd back to work the next day. They may be cheap but they do not fix what is wrong with your car and the service is terrible. Do not waste your money on this mechanic.

I'm absolutely disgusted with this so called " mechanic shop"!! i purchased a 65 corvair in July, immediately after buying it, the car broke down. Andy's shop was highly recommended to me so I had it towed to him. I was assured by the owner that he was happy to work on the car and would make the car run smoothly. I remained hopeful as the weeks went by and his daughter called to say to its all done. I joyfully went to claim my car.I noticed right away that the car was running rough and at the first light the car jerked hard. I was barely able to stop ( though i was told they were fine by Andy's, including a new master cylinder). I filled up the tank and went to start theCar to go home, hoping after driving it a bit it would smooth out. But NO! It never did start again. I was literally 4 blocks from Andy's when this happened! I had it towed back, AGAIN! This time, it sat for another 3+ weeks before my bf began calling daily to find out the status. At one point, my bf called twice in one day and no answer. He blocked his number and called again. They immediately picked up. Avoiding us?? I went to pick it up again and noticed that we had no headlights or turn signals but again was told by Andy's all was fixed. 2 blocks later? You guessed it! Car broke down again! This time back firing and smoking!! Again... back to Andy's. Another 3 weeks goes by. No word and my beautiful classic car is beyond filthy ( grease and ash inside and dirty front to back (i have photos). By bf arrived without notice today and tried to get some answers and get my car away from this jerk. Of course, the owner had nothing to say! Just stood there with the deer in the headlight look. He muttered something about running it for 3 hours and driving it for 20 min. But when my bf went to start it... again... battery was dead!! Owner claimed he wasn't going to work on it anymore cause he was chasing a ghost! A ghost?? Then why did Andys hold my car for 2 months and charge me over $500 if he was just chasing ghosts??!!!!I do hope that the owner sleeps well tonight knowing he completely screwed someone in his own community. But I'll sleep well knowing I'll see the owner in court!!!

I don't know what the other reviewers that gave andys a 1 star rating were thinking. This mechanic shop is excellent and timely. I was so impressed by their business ethic and expertise that I recommended them to the company I work for as their fleet repair shop.

Good prices and seemed reliable. BUT They ruined my car. I spent $1400 there and everything they did was done wrong. Now I have about $1600 in repairs. I asked for a refund and said I was taking my business elsewhere and they refused. DONT TRUST THEM!
