Stayed late and made multiple parts runs to get new brakes on my work van same day. Great price. Great service. Highly recommend, and it's also a gas station. Great local auto repair shop in SE Portland.

SCAMMERS! BEWARE!!! Non certified shop! they will not diagnose and give you any information you request on repairs. Would not give us part numbers or even disclose what they repaired. went in with no lights on my dash and left with all lights illuminated. will be taking legal action.

After a recent cross-country trip, my engine light popped up and wouldn't go off again. While I was filling up at the gas station, I asked if they might take a look, and I'm so glad I did! Dan did a great job on my little car, not only fixing the engine issue but also taking the time to explain some other things I need done soon (I recently passed 100k miles). Plus, the price was reasonable and it was done sooner than I had expected!While I am bummed to know that I have more pending repairs soon, I'm happy to have found Al's and am confident in the work they do.

My bank wanted me to get a mechanical inspection on a 2009 chevy avalanche before finalizing the loan.This was the 10th place I called on a Friday afternoon who could actually do it last minute. The mechanic saved me $12,000 for the price of an $88 inspection. He took detailed pictures of a cover up job on the rusty frame and also highlited other defects including leaking oil cooler and transmission lines that I did not immediately notice. If I need another inspection while car shopping in the area, I will be back 100%Thank you kind sir.

This place was recommended to me by a friend of mine and I am so glad that I took his advice. They worked on my daughter's car as well as ours. We are very satisfied with their customer service, their workmanship, and the afforadbility. I highly recommend!

Have taken a car to get brakes done. The breaks are stiffer than ever, took a van to get water pump changed and now it makes a horrible noise. I would recommend it as an emergency pit stop but don t recommend you put your hands completely on them.

Told me what I needed, but they were not pushy, didn't make me feel guilty for not having another 700 bucks on top of the 300 I'd been quoted.Good experience, will return.
