In the past year, I've had a rock in between my brake pads and a broken windshield wiper. Pulled into North Ridge, no appointment. He took the time to fix the issues both times free of charge. I was in and out within 20 minutes. No one does this anymore!! If I ever need car repairs, I'm taking it to this place and recommending this place to everyone I meet.

North Ridge Auto in Philomath repeatedly goes above and beyond my expectations. My personal autos and our local non-profit MTB club makes the trek from the greater Corvallis area to Philomath. Rey, Tait, and the crew are honest, competent, and their prices are fair. I trust these guys WAY more than any dealer in our area. I appreciate the heck out of these guys and can't recommend them enough!

They re really great folks. They ve taken my car in even on their busiest days and been able to fix some larger issues in very little time. I so appreciate them! I wrecked my car on Saturday the 24 and informed them that I did doordash and I needed my car as soon as they could get it back to me and I got it back in 6 days. Best work! Super cheap and awesome. Removed air cleaner assembly to replace spark plugs and forgot to lock it down -- flapping in the breeze, air filter box wide open and not clipped. They told me a manifold had a crack -- no, it didn't. They replaced my water pump. I now have doubts it was necessary. They lubricated my door handle and smeared the window with lube on the inside. My AC worked when I took it in, but not when I got it back. They couldn't tighten my e-brake.Stay away from these hacks.

They charged me far less than I was expecting and got me in and out same day. Replaced my upper radiator hose assembly, adjusted some alternator wiring, and replaced my rotors and brake pads. Quick brake condition check; problem is leaking rear caliper on passenger side. This shop came recommended because they only charge for what you really need; another name brand shop wanted to charge me for new rotors and pads as well as calipers. I am not made of money, so North Ridge will be getting my business.

Highly recommend! Brought my car in the night before and used the key drop. They had a diagnosis just an hour after they opened and had to order the part from Portland and still got it done the same day. I saw other reviewers talk about integrity with respect to this shop. I wholeheartedly agree.I had a check engine light come on last week so I scheduled an appointment for them to have a look at my Chevy Traverse. The man I talked to on the phone had an idea of what the problem might be when I gave him the error codes during the phone call.In the meantime, the check engine light turned off! I couldn't believe it. Anyway, the guys still looked over my vehicle and told me to just drive it and keep an eye on it and make sure I was changing the oil at regular intervals. I also asked about some scheduled maintenance that was listed in the manual, but they checked the car and determined it wasn't necessary at this time.They will not nickel and dime you here, and they will only charge you for what is necessary. I'll definitely bring my vehicles here whenever there appears to be a problem in the future.Edit 2022 - I've been bringing my car here for the post 2 years. I still agree with everything I previously said. The prices they charge are very reasonable and they are always knowledgeable about what is necessary and what is not. I'll continue bringing my cars here as long as we are in the area.

We have actually taken 2 cars in to these guys. We had a rattle in our 2003 Acura that nobody could figure out but these guys did and they fixed it and it drives beautifully. We also took in a 2018 Ford F-350 and had the plugs changed and transmission flushed and once again they did a wonderful job at a very reasonable price.

Good customer service. I actually broke down around the corner from the shop traveling through and stopped in to speak with them. Although they were busy and were not going to be able to actually fix my vehicle until the following week I was able to have them look at it once I limped it into their parking lot. I was lucky enough that my truck self corrected itself and was able to drive away. I do appreciate your time to speak with my and to look at my truck.

Northridge Automotive has been my mechanic for 3 years now and I could not be happier. They have always been professional and quick to fix any issues my vehicles have had. Their pricing is good and I know I can trust them to always be honest about any problems my car has. I would highly recommend them to anybody in the area looking for a place to get their car fixed.

I'm so happy to have found North Ridge Automotive - my new '"home" for any repairs to my suburban. The customer service is top-notch (they even answer the phone - something rare in our automated world), Tate tells me in detail what needs to be done - and also what can wait- and their prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend!

Took my CRV in to diagnose some concerning clunk noises from the rear and an exhaust leak noise. They told me that the exhaust leak was "no big deal" and that the clunk nouse was coming from the doors. They said they adjusted the doors as best they could. They assured me there was no problem in the suspension.The noise never went away and yesterday another shop replaced both rear strut assemblies that were causing the noise and were dangerously damaged. North ridge charged me for literally nothing. They didn't even diagnose the problems I took it in for. Awhile before this they also insisted that it was normal for my Rav4 to burn a quart of oil every 1000 miles.I want my money back.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I have nothing but great things to say about these guys. They always offer great customer service, they treat each customer with respect, and you can't beat their price. They have a lot of integrity and truly do what's best for the customer. I would trust them to work on my car any day.

These guys were willing to help us out in a pinch on our weekend trip when no one else would! Their kind, honest, quality service and help in our desperate hour was above and beyond! And they didn't price gouge us either! Their cost was extremely reasonable! They were recommended to us, and we highly recommend them!

New to the area, needed a mechanic, took GMC Canyon in prior to a cross-country road trip with the request to assure it was ok to make the trek. The guys were professional, knowledgeable and kind. Made the repairs needed in a timely, cost-effective manner and even made it a point to show how to correct a problem on my own should it arise during the trip. 10/10 would recommend! Definitely will use their services again.

Rey and his team are simply the best! They've worked on our old Miata, our middle-aged Ford diesel truck, and our middle-aged BMW sedan. Once in a great while, they've sent us to the dealer when something is out of their scope (but they at least admit it!). They've always been super fair with us, and have saved us a lot of money over the years by keeping our older vehicles running. In fact, I have to take them a treat tomorrow because today they checked something for me for free!

Me and my family have been taking vehicles to you guys for years now and most of the time they come back with more issues then they went in with. We thought it was just coincidence, but I took my Chevy Cobalt in and all they did was an alignment and now it has all sorts of electrical issues. I called and told them issues and told them that this has been happening for years now and it's not coincidence, and I would like them to look at it for free at the very least. The guy on the phone said I will get charged for that and being very rude. $70 alignment turned into who knows how much for electrical issues from you guys. And also issues on our other vehicles that are not coincidence. Do not take your vehicle here.You guys have lost about 5 customers from us.

I was traveling to the coast with my family when my truck made an awful noise. I thought for sure the transmission went out. Ray took the time to check the fluids and help me diagnose the problem. He even took it for a drive with me to see if he could figure out what was wrong.In the end it was a bent fender on the boat trailer. If you re ever hauling your family, dog and boat to the Coast and have an emergency, I couldn t recommend them more.Did I mention he didn t even charge me? I paid him anyway because I really appreciated the help.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Took my vehicle in for what I believed to be an issue with the alternator. After further testing it was determined that the issue was due to a faulty but still under warranty battery, which they replaced. They were up front, ethical, and did not try to fix things that didn't need fixing or sell me something that I did not need. Their integrity will keep me coming here for the foreseeable future.Service: General repairs & maintenance

We stopped in just after rolling through town on a long roadtrip from Canada when we noticed our "check engine" light came on and our ride started to feel a little jittery. We drove back into Philomath and stopped in at the shop. A guy came out right away to read the code and walked us through what is causing the problem. He was super informative and helpful. It was a very honest diagnosis and we couldn't be happier with the service and advice we received. It is truly priceless when on such a long trip far away from home. We left within 5 quick minutes, with peace of mind. A very happy and friendly crew! THANK-YOU SO, SO MUCH!!!!

Knowledgeable, dependable, affordable, reliable. These guys know their stuff and they don't overcharge for it! It's hard to find a mechanic like this. My father worked on vehicles in the Army and advises me to use Northridge when he's not available and sometimes when he is available because he trusts them and they're fast. Oh and did I mention EXCELLENT customer service? I'd use Northridge even if I didn't live in the area.

Great experience! Had my water pump and timing belt replaced for much less than what I paid to have it done several years ago at another mechanic. Low cost and excellent customer service will be making me a repeat customer!!

I found myself broke down in Philomath (with a bad alternator) unable to find a replacement in ANY parts store in town, I found North Ridge Auto. They had the part in stock & were willing/able to do the work the SAME DAY!! The men in the shop were VERY polite, explained EVERYTHING they were doing, & answered ALL of my questions without making me feel stupid!! If I didnt live so far away, I would consider this shop for ALL my repairs & maintainece!! THANK YOU GUYS!!
