Great service !! They have replaced my transmission and have not ran into problems nearly a year later. They stood behind their word on having it all checked out on them after so many miles / months - even patched a tire for me that stopped holding air before a long drive.Highly recommend, I went in myself after seeing all these great reviews. Was in town for a long weekend to visit family. Somehow bottomed out on a driveway and it made the most HORRENDOUS noise - followed by dripping liquid under the car as soon as I parked. Of course I was mildly freaked out. Zeigler's got my car up on the lift first thing Monday morning, checked for damage, checked my fluids, and tested pressure in the pipes. They were able to show me the superficial scrapes on the bottom plate of the undercarriage and reassure me that the liquid was just condensation and a coincidence. I was able to make the 6 hour drive home as scheduled on Tuesday worry free. Such a huge load of my mind! Thank you so, so much for making time to set this travelers mind at ease!

My Tacoma broke down rolling into Pendleton, and we came to these guys. I can t believe how amazing they were! Thy got my bearing replaced in no time and I was back on the road. Highly highly recommend this shop :}

I was driving through Pendleton and after I fueled up, my truck failed to start. The check engine light was on and I needed to get to Utah to see my first grandchild.In a panic, I found Zeigler's Auto Repair and they were very friendly and encouraging on the phone. I had the truck towed in and the owner looked at it right away. Within 10 minutes, he knew what was wrong and told me it was a fairly easy fix. I had to wait for a few hours for the part to arrive, but when the part arrived, the issue was resolved by the mechanic in about 30 minutes.They were friendly, helpful and competent. When you're from out of town, you never know what you will get. I really appreciated their great service. Save time, and call them first if you need automotive repairs.And the granddaughter is beautiful.Service: Electrical repair

Ziegler s is more than a 5 star business! We were driving cross country near Pendleton & saw smoke coming from our truck. We stopped and found fluid pouring from the engine area. It was late Thursday night. Nothing was open. Called Ziegler s Friday morning. They didn t hesitate, told us to come in so they could troubleshoot! In no time they diagnosed & started to fix the problem. They pulled out all the stops, went above and beyond and by 4:45pm we were ready to be on the road again . Can t thank the Ziegler crew enough for helping us out in a bad situation! If you need help, call Ziegler s first!!

I broke down in pendleton 2,058 miles into my 2,377 mile trip, and they replaced my transmission entirely. Excellent communication, price was proper, and the turnaround time was awesome. Great customer service. I see why the locals say they're the best in town.

I went in and talked with Kris about a clutch at 1030 am, my rig was in the shop right after lunch and was back the next day before 11 am. Great service very nice and respectful. I have since hauled my 30 ft 5th wheel over 600 miles including the Biggs grade south on hwy 97, no problem, thanks Kris. As much as i hope i never have to see you for business, if i do i will feel comfortable about have -Zieglers do ing the work, thanks.

Started having car issues on a road trip and they were able to get us in and identify the problem on super short notice. They weren t able to fix it as fast as we needed so they helped us find another auto body shop that would be able to fix it same day. Didn t even charge us for the inspection. Great company and service.

We live on the Oregon Willamette Valley. We had a coolant issue a couple of years back and AAA recommended Zeigler for repairs. They talked with VW about requirements for Warranty requirements. This time we had a DEF message and we chose Zeigler to help. They took us in and fixed the DEF issue quickly and with quality. Thank you Zeigler. Mike Leavitt

I would give it 100 stars if I could. They were super busy, but got us back on the Highway in a few hours. They are the BEST I have ever experienced, hands down the BEST. I brought my car for a bad sensor. It was a warranty part that I had just had replaced at another shady shop. Zingers was fast and we'll priced. But they threw the part away that I needed to claim the warranty from the last shop. Instead of taking responsibility they said it's not oon them and that I have to pay the bill out of pocket. Because they lost thr part! I don't think so. They were so rude and hostile at this point that I said if you want your money take me yo court. Never again.Service: General repairs & maintenance

After fueling my pickup near Pendleton it would not start. Someone recommended Ziegler. My towed pickup arrived just prior to closing and the knowledge young man quickly diagnosed a bad starter. The starter was replaced the next morning and my family returned to our vacation. Excellent service and fair price.

I recently got a pre-purchase inspection.The staff was friendly and accommodating.However on requesting an e-mailed copy of the inspection, the report was rudimentary at best - it lacked detail and organization. All I received was a short paragraph on items checked. I had to call them about certain major items like the transmission not listed in the report. The experience did not bloster confidence with this service and it felt as though I may have overpaided for it.Mind you, they could have checked everything thoroughly however documentation was lacking.Moving forward, may I recommend a detailed report breaking down all parts of the vehicle that were inspected. Please note I am not asking them to do more, just document better!

The best auto shop I ve been to. Walked in due to my car over heating knowing it probably needed a new radiator. They got one within 10-15 minutes after inspecting it and only took an hour to get it in, replaced, and out. I highly recommend if you need somewhere to go and this is an option.

If I lived in Pendleton, this would be my guy. He did what he could but i did have to find a dealership in the end. I needed an expert. He's a general expert! I needed a specific one. Otherwise, five stars. He may be busy but that's cuz he's the best. Thanks for doing what you could! ;)

My son's 2004 Highlander broke down midway in a 400 mile trip. I arranged to have the car towed to Zeigler Transmission nearby. God blessed us with this choice because Kris, the owner, diagnosed the problem quickly.He discovered an incorrect part had been installed in the axle assembly by a previous mechanic, and it finally failed. Kris got a new correct part and also repaired an ancillary problem (replace a damaged speed sensor). He and his crew got it all fixed and thoroughly tested the car. He kept me informed throughout the repair process. His price as very reasonable too.The dedication and attention to detail by Ziegler's is the best I've ever seen. If I lived closer to Pendleton, this is the shop I'd use for all my car service needs. RELIABLE, HONEST, AND SIMPLY OUTSTANDING!Service: Transmission

I wish we could give more stars. But our otherwise good experience was dampened by a few things. Chris, although an excellent mechanic, is not a people person. He was slightly condescending and pretty short with us. The front desk lady is SUPER nice though, I forget her name. Another downer was the time it took the mechanics to figure out what was wrong. Took almost 24 hours. They were kind enough to only charge us for four hours of labor, but it was disappointing after 24 hours and four paid hours for them to tell us they couldn t fix it. I m no mechanic, but did it really have to take a whole day to figure that out? Returning to pick up our car, we walked in and they said it s almost ready we re just putting it back together . We then waited over an hour for them to finish up . They didn t even put everything back (fuse box lid left off).All in all, they were recommended by a few locals as the best in town. And maybe they are. Our experience was probably just bad luck. We did break down and they did accommodate us as best they could, hence the three stars. But those small details, the rudeness, the waiting, caused them to lose two stars from us.

All reviews seem to say the same thing, mine isn t any different! I broke down in town while i was passing through, and got a tow here. They were clearly backed up but fit me in that day and got me and in and out and back on the road within a few hours. Driving across country to get a kid to college our car broke down. Ziegler got us in first thing, diagnosed the problem and got us back on the road 6 hours later. They were helpful and professional, super appreciative of their great service!

Great Experience! We were driving across country and had to stop in Pendleton, Kris and the staff at Ziegler were super helpful, upfront and timely in our repair. We pulled in at 5 (closing time) they were able to diagnose and repair our car and we were on the road by 8:30am the next day. They saved our butts! Highly recommend!

Had issues in the area, stopped to have it looked at. fair price for service, Erin was very friendly. they lost stars because, Kris was knowledgeable but not super friendly. we also waited close to 90 minutes for them to get our car ready after we gave them a heads up that we were coming to get it. we didn t feel important, kind of felt like we were lost in the shuffle of things.Service: Electrical

Honestly they haven't done any work on my vehicle. But I've called twice asking for a quote for a 100 k service, a spendy job , but nobody ever got back to me so I guess they don't need my business.

Edit: all below true, but finally transmission is done, and with a warranty. Add a star.Had a transmission sent from the community college to be rebuilt beginning of the year. Nearly 6 months later, with no truck back to drive, I inquired when it would be delivered back. Turns out basically it was not a priority, it was "fill work" and they are busy.No notification that it wasn't being worked on. Now, no truck to drive STILL.

I was driving cross country and my oil gauge on my 2016 GMC was dropping low. I went to a local parts store to have them check battery and alternator. They could not confirm it and suggested I go to Zieglers. I pulled in about 3:30 and despite the fact they had a schedule they worked mine in. Chris took time to validate as many possible things and then provided me with security with his knowledge after computer checks and driving it that it was something that vehicle does by the computer for efficiency. I was traveling alone with 1100 miles to go and I left confident and sure that it was ok I cannot say enough about their caring attitude and knowledge.

We had car troubles with our alternator on our road trip. We called at the end of the day and they fit us in and fixed it for us. They were very understanding with our kids and situation and got us quickly back on the road. Highly recommend them.
