December 22, my family of three were in Pendleton Oregon heading from the State of Maine, to Washington State. Our front end started grinding and we were scared we wouldn't make it home and had enough cash for anything that needed done (ended up being a wheel bearing). It was 3pm and we limped our truck to this shop from the freeway and without even a conversation, they rolled the garage door shut on us saying too late and close to a holiday they wouldn't see us. Couldn't recommend an open shop, or even offers to let us call AAA safe from their parking lot. Just turned us away. This shop has no care for anyone.

My car had some major issues right before a big trip to Portland. My regular mechanic had retired so I was at a loss for where to go. I just took a shot in the dark and called Auto Clinic. Mike was amazing. Gave me a fair but conservative price and timeframe and was able to get the car done much faster and cheaper than expected. It has been running great ever since. He explained everything to me in detail (more than I needed since it was all greek to me), and I appreciated his honesty and expertise. I didn't feel like he tried to talk me into anything or take advantage of my obvious ignorance. 10/10. will be back for any future issues.

Mike and his crew got my car in quickly, diagnosed it, and got it fixed up for a reasonable price! He took the time to explain what was wrong in a way I could understand and was very clear about what needed to be done. I have recommended this shop to anyone asking where to take their vehicles for the last 18+ years, and I don't see that changing anytime soon!

Too much good stuff to list it all but Mike is an excellent communicator, wanted to make sure we understood everything, and went WAAAAAYYYY above and beyond to help us with next steps far beyond his responsibility.Surprised to not be invited over for bbq and a place to stay. This guy was just great!

Broke down while passing through. Mike made room in his schedule to fit me in. Great communication from office kept me updated on status of vehicle. They made double sure everything was road ready before I picked it up.

THE BEST people and service you could ask for! Mike is extremely knowledgeable about cars in general, and spent a lot of time explaining the ins and outs of our vehichle's engine issue. He gave multiple, excellent recommendations for what to do with our vehichle after the engine gave out (FYI: Hyundai Santa Fe 2.4L engines are part of a class-action lawsuit & are trash).He did not attempt to upsell us or give false info, which we could tell by his detailed explanations of the issues & recommendations. Additionally, he went above and beyond by answering our unrelated questions about which vehichle to purchase next based on longevity & durability. Thank you, Mike!

On a recent road trip from Portland to Boise, I got a Check Engine Light. We looked for local places to get a diagnosis and found the Auto Clinic of Pendleton. It had high ratings and was nearby.Mike was very helpful even before we got there as the maps app was not precise as to where to go. After calling him a second time for directions we were able to obtain the assistance we needed.Even though he was busy, Mike fit us in. He read the codes, offered his advice, and gave us some troubleshooting tips to help us decide if we should continue our trip or turn back. He charged a small fee for his effort. It was fair and appropriate.We continued cautiously and made it to Boise where it was determined that significant repairs were necessary. Thanks to Mike and his advice, I was able to provide the dealer with information that helped them repair the problem.

Really great staff the owner seems like a really awesome guy. They had my vehicle done same day all I needed was a transmission flush and fill which only cost me $75. I think that's the best price in town you'll ever find it for mechanic work. My mother-in-law went to them with a worn-out serpentine belts and they got it done for only $90 that includes parts and labor. Be sure to call in advance and be patient with these guys they know what they're doing and they may take their time but it's a very thorough and professional work

Professional Fantastic Service in a timely manner!!!We were broken down on the highway on a Sunday night and are from out of state. We had our car towed to the place, dropped off keys in an night drop off slot and left a message for them on the answer machine. They called promptly the next morning with the issue, with our permission they had the part ordered, and fixed within 30 hours. The bill came in slightly lower than the quoted price. Best place for auto-repair.Have had my Subaru Impreza in several times now. Tune-up and back brakes first go around. Front brakes just got done. First go around had a little issue with air flow and Mike got it back in and corrected in no time. With the front brakes I had noticed that it was dragging a little driving home and was actually smoking by the time I pulled into the garage. Called the office and Mike had me bring it back in the next morning. By the afternoon new brakes were on and everything works great. I have always felt like they are going above and beyond to make things right. Never over-charging and very reasonable to start. Will never go anywhere else. Great customer service all the way around and top notch repair work.Services: Auto engine tuning, Brakes, Oil change

We are very satisfied with the work and care they took. We are from Washington State and our car broke down outside Pendleton on Friday afternoon. They got us right in and ordered parts before everyone went home. We continued on to Nevada in another vehicle. They promptly fixed our car and securely stored our car for several days. As my husband said. "It is nice to find someone who knows his business. We need to plan on coming back for our future repairs ".

Mike and his crew do amazing work. Dropped our truck off in the morning. They had completed the list of 75K maintenance items to our diesel truck and it was ready on time. Love this shop and will return when we need any work done. Honest, upfront, fair priced mechanics.

True hardworking, and honest mechanics This shop did all that it could for me in commendable time. An alternator was replaced in a tight timeline of a day. My vehicle was a small RV and I had everything in it. His charitable response to such a task saved me from being stranded for some days. Mike and team saved the day for us! When our car broke down outside of Pendleton last night, AAA recommended this shop and our tow driver confirmed that they are great. The car was promptly repaired first thing this morning and for a fair price - and we were on our way with barely a disruption in our cross country move schedule. Our trip to Utah arches was cut short due to car trouble. Car was towed to Auto clinic and since it was Sunday shop was closed. Owner, mike, came in early to open shop. Although he was super busy, he looked at and tried to fix our car. Since it was not an immediate fix, he indicated that he would work on at his earliest convenience. Super nice guy and crew, even brought us ice to cool off in this 100 plus heat.Thank you for your service, very much appreciated!!Services: Auto engine diagnostic, A/C installation & repair

We have taken our vehicles to Mike since he took over. He is honest and stands by his shops work. The only issue we ever had was a failed new spark plug wire in Arizona that his shop put on during a tune up, and he took care of everything. The mechanic in Arizona that fixed the issue complimented the work by his shop and said we have good mechanics. My husband has driven all over the over the 11 western states, and he prefers to wait and take our vehicle to Mike. Unfortunately, everyone else knows he is great and now we have to share him. Sorry Mike, they won't let me give you 10 stars.

This has the feel of a mom and pop shop and the quality of a mega branch. There is no beating around the bush here. There is no scamming here. He will tell you exactly what the problem is. Tell you how much it will cost. The best thing is he will go out of his way to try and find you the best deal. Straight forward honest and has you and your family in mind. Only bad thing I have to say about this place Is they have to much business and it takes awhile before they have a open slot to get you in lol higher more people I need my truck fixed

I went through there on a 23 hour road trip and broke down. Not only did they squeeze me in there tight schedule. They gave me two options to get my vehicle fixed and stayed after hours to get it done. Very respectful and professional at the shop, they treated me very well. Honestly one of the best experiences I've had when my day went bad. 10/10 would recommend. Very reliable

We had an issue with programming our truck and Mike was on top of it and programmed our TCM in a day and our vehicle runs like a champ! We will be doing our business through this company from here on out!!! Thank you for being professional and upfront! We highly recommend.

I was traveling through the area, and ended up stranded in Pendleton for a night due to a spotty alternator completely draining my battery. These guys were super helpful in getting the right part ordered, and fitting me into the schedule - even though I came in in the morning with no appointment. Very friendly, and great service!

I wouldn't go anywhere else. I'm a female and I haven't ever felt like they talk down to me or would ever try to take advantage. They've helped me even when I didn't need service. In my opinion the best in town.

We had a check engine light come on as we were driving past Pendleton. We stopped at the Auto Clinic and they were friendly and helped us right away. They pulled the code and explained the possible causes of it. Since it wasn't anything very serious, we were able to continue with our trip without delay. It was nice to have the peace of mind that our car would be okay until we got home. Thanks guys!

Hands down the best mechanics in Eastern Oregon, perhaps the entire state. In the last ten years they have repaired several vehicles for myself and my family, including an old Isuzu fifteen years past it's prime and a Kia that I still drive to this day. The staff are honest, upfront, and respectful.
