I have an older Japanese truck that recently had an issue in the electrical system and took it to Star Bright. It was the first great experience I have ever had getting a car fixed. I won't be taking my rig to anyone else moving forward. Thorough, fast, honest and a good communicator Russel is the man and perhaps the last real mechanic in Oregon City.

We recently had two of our automobiles serviced at Star Bright Auto Services in Oregon City and I would give Russel (the owner/mechanic) 10 stars if I could! Russel is very professional on the phone, in person and performs quality auto repairs in a timely manner with competitive pricing. What I liked most about our experience was his honesty, a very rare quality currently where other mechanics may exaggerate repairs and manipulate charges, Russel is a straight shooter and charges honestly for his services. He also uses factory recommended parts and stands by his work, what more could you want? If you are having issues with one of your vehicles, I highly recommend taking it to Star Bright Auto in Oregon City.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto A/C recharge

My starter went out on my Ford Truck. Called Star Bright Auto Services and Russell the owner gave me a quote way under the competition in Oregon City.I was in the very next morning and picked my Truck up at noon! He did a great job on the starter installation, was very informative, friendly, and just a down right good guy! Thank you Russell for taking the time to get me on the road quickly. They're very easy to talk to down to earth kind of people. Reasonably priced and efficient. Best mechanic I've ever been to and the best part they are honest and don't try to sell you stuff you don't need

Star Bright Auto Services (Russell Owner) was able to perform the correct replacement of my catalytic converter after paying to have a previous shop install the wrong one at twice the cost, they are fast and Russ's work ethic is outstanding the installation was also perfect, the welds were flawless. Quoted me one price, we agreed, go to pick up my stuff and the wanted $200 more. Pull my tanks out of the wrapping and I have say I've had better polish jobs from tweekers in truck stops with some polish they had in Mt Dew bottles. Would not recommend this place if you want aluminum done right.

The best place to take your car. Incredibly nice and honest people, I couldn t recommend them enough. They fixed my car for an incredible price and diagnosed the issue incredibly fast and were great at explaining it. The issue was different from what other auto repair shops had quoted me, they ended up saving me over $3,000 while fixing the issue. Best shop in town, I am getting my car serviced here from now on. These brothers are the best! I had some electrical problems no one was willing to fix. Thru took me in with no problems. I was blown away how honest and fair they were. I've done all my repairs and misc. things since then. I've been doing business with Star Bright for a long time. they are incredible at what they do. if you need chrome work done please stop in or call. Kevin the owner now more than ever can use the work in these awful times. They're also doing automotive work. If you need something done to your car and need good people you can trust, i highly recommend Star Bright Finishes.

Hey these guys did a great job for me and it was a record time. I took a bunch of suspension parts for a '35 Pontiac I'm building and not only was it a very good price but the turn-around was just a few weeks. Job came out great and I have no problem recommending these guys. I will definitely be giving these guys more work.

Received my parts yesterday, great job!! 60 ft. of 1974 Ford f100 trim, as well as large front grill and rear panels. Looks awesome. All finished in a week. Will have more work for!!

Place was great! I worked with this guy named Russell mostly, who was nice and filled me in every step of the way. They found clever ways to cut costs without reducing the quality of work. Highly recommend!

Kevin did the bumper on my grandpas 55 chev, my friends datsun 510, and another friends lowrider lincoln. All 3 of them are happy with the work they got back so I had Starbright do some of my parts for my lowrider monte carlo. Im very impressed woth how they came out. They even shaved all the date stamps and manufacturing marks on my trailing arms to make them as smooth as glass. All for only $172. Will be returning for sure.

DONT go to this place. They will hold your parts forever and screen your call if you called to ask when your parts will be done. This happened to me, I waited months past the due date and when I called them it would go to voice mail. I used a different phone and they picked up. They gave me an excuse that they had a large order in and didn't have enough people. They will take large orders over yours. They finally did a RUSH job. My parts don't look that good, spots are buffed through. GO somewhere else.

WARNING DO NOT USE - I dropped off parts TWO MONTHS ago at this dump and contacted the owner Kevin regularly to make sure he was on track to have the parts completed when my car came out of paint. He only answers the phone about 1 out of 10 times you call. Don t bother leaving a message, he will NOT call you back. He lies about his progress, he doesn t do what he says, never follows up, doesn t maintain regular office/shop hours (leaves early when he is weeks behind), etc. Just an absolutely errible businessman. I was worried about ever getting my parts so I finally went to the shop and demanded my parts back even though they weren t done. They weren t plated and only a few hours of polishing had been done in the last 10 weeks. Rediculous. I ll take them elsewhere to get them plated. So, if you don t care if you ever get your irreplaceable parts back and you love listening to excuses, by all means use these guys. Don t say you weren t warned!

I got some chrome done and my stainless trim and aluminium trim dent free and polished on my 65 Fairlane!. They did a AWESOME job..

The shop is a real working hive authentic, including projects in the work, with dirt, grease, and tools to brighten anything. They polished our copper pans to a mirror finish gorgeous, like new again! We have a near dozen more copper pans they are finishing, and I ll complete this review after that. So far, a spectacular find!

These guys are awesome. They did an excellent job transforming my brass claw foot tub feet to polished chrome. Job was finished ahead of schedule. Very friendly guys. Highly recommend them.

These guys don't know how to call you back. Left many messages with my info and never heard anything back.Droped parts off on a Wednesday and they said they would be done by Friday. Show up 2 weeks later and they haven't touched the parts. Horrible bussiness.
