Two years ago my daughter's car had a problem. It was late in the afternoon on a HOT day. Claire took it in. He figured out the problem and in his words "Jerry rigged it." That fix lasted almost 2 years! I will always be grateful for Claire, his crew and his lovely wife. They were the picture of grace and kindness. The price was beyond reasonable.

Situation: Broke down in Ontario after a long road trip with 3 hours left to get home. Weird things were happening when we broke down that had never happened before. The officer that helped us recommended Claire s.Pros: worked on our vehicle on their closed days in order to get us home (and not in a hotel) so we could get to work. Claire also called us the later that day that we picked up the vehicle to make sure we made it home safely (great customer service there).Cons: because it was their closed days we had to pay in cash, and they wouldn t let us (or the employee working) write down our credit card information. Not a huge deal, just inconvenient (and frustrating after a stressful weekend). And we got home, and the next day our car is doing the same thing. So the problem wasn t fixed.I also believe I paid too much. Currently waiting for an invoice to see everything done, but from what I ve seen we paid $440 for a tow, battery cable repair, and oil change. Seems a bit steep but still waiting for the invoice to be sent once the office opens.Overall, grateful for them putting in the extra time so that we could complete our road trip. And we were able to make it home safely. Even though the problem isn t fixed and we could ve done the same thing for less cash.

These are the best and kindest mechanics I've ever used. Broke down on I-84 with the check engine light on. I called around and only Claire said they had time to scan the error code that evening. We got towed there and even though we arrived right at closing hour they stayed late and diagnosed a blocked fuel filter. The next morning they drove to Boise to pick up a new one, and by noon we were on the road again. Couldn't be happier.

Doesn t seem to grasp that we are stranded here. Doesn t seem like they care about your time. Didn t replace any parts. Didn t even except card! My wife had to walk to the bank and with draw a couple hundred dollars and then walk back. HOW DO YOU NOT EXEPT A CREDIT CARD ON AN AUTO REPAIR ?

If you need repairs DO NOT take your vehicle here. I have personally seen when Claire's would "fix" a car, only for it to have to be brought back in multiple times to get it right. Charging for parts and labor each time. Let me be clear here. THE SAME EXACT PART being replaced multiple times.

Worst experience of my life!! Had transmission problems they said they could fix it but they made the problem worse it cost 3500 dollars and did not fix it . I Took it to Ron's transition he fixed the problem it cost me 3500 more I tried to get Clairs to reimburse a portion of it but they pretty much told me to screw off and hung up on me .

I called this company because I broke down on Thursday evening at the napa store they came right down and brought a jump box and we limped the car down to the shop I asked if they could get done that night at 5 this happened they said probably not it would be tomorrow I said ok they took me to.a hotel and after about 2 hours later they called me and said the car was ready so thy came and picked me back-up what a wonderful company thank u guys so much

Nice people but you better know alittle about cars.... Spent all day and $178 dollars to end up telling me I had a blown head gasket....Took 5 minutes to do a liquid test for it.... Maybe we should do that first ???
