Bought my echo weed eater thankful there is a gas powered dealer still around, super friendly we talked turkey for half hour or so I will be returning for a lawn mower soon.... 2/17/24

Fixed my pull assembly for my kids mini bike same day inside of 20 minutes. Great guy won't go anywhere else especially the other saw shop. The lady at that shop is a top shelf troll.

Austin was a great help. Super knowledgeable and friendly. He helped me find the best saw for my particular needs. This is the third time I've bought gas yard tools, the first two are still going strong after three years, I expect this one will last just as long if not longer. Thank you Macks Saw Shop

Worst retail operation in the region. They sold me a used mower. The wheel adjuster broke on the second use. I took it back and asked them to repair it. They took the old part off and hammered it (their words) and put it back on. They informed me that the charge was $90. $85 labor, $5 environmental fee.Old part, maybe fifteen minutes labor= $90?I informed them that they should have repaired it for free...I offered $20 to cover their time. The youngster with whom I was talking was the owner s son. The boy was extremely nice and well spoken. He turned me over to an adult employee. After a five minute back and forth the adult informed me that I could pick up the mower. He waived the fee if I agreed to never visit their store again. Easy deal to make as there was no chance I d do business there again.I picked up the mower within fifteen minutes. They left it out in the parking lot. This is the only mower shop that doesn t clean equipment being returned to the customer. Bandon Supply washes off the repaired equipment and reviews their repair work to make sure the customer is satisfied.The owner has two youngsters under the age of 18 working the shop unpaid. I believe that violates some labor law. Worst experience we ve had since moving here 13 years ago. Sad...

The customer service is out of this world. Tom is not only knowledgeable about he products he sells but he also gives honest feedback! We were treated with so much respect and taken seriously the entire time even when we were just window shopping the week prior. Tom s cusomter Service and warm welcome was the reason we were back today to make our $650.00 purchase. We will be back for sure and are customers for life! Thank you for being such a great business owner in town, you have earned customers for life!

This is from awhile ago, 10� years ago, but Mack's used to be a real loggers saw shop. But when it changed ownership it went downhill. I took in my saw for tuneup, a large Stihl chainsaw running rough. Got it back and 10 minutes after running, it siezed up. Took it back and they called it a lean piston seizure from leaning out the carb too much (acted like it was my fault). When I brought up they JUST tuned it up, and I wont touch a carburetor with a 10ft pole, the story changed to "well it could have been any number of other things" and offered no resolution.... reading the reviews he is still a con man P.O.S

I THINK ITS GREAT, HIS CHILDREN ARE LEARNING A TRADE, THOSE THAT GRIPE ABOUT TOMS KIDS, WOULD YOU RATHER, THEY PLAYED VIDEO GAMES, AND RAN THE STREETS, CUZ, THATS WHAT YOU ARE ADVOCATING FOR, MY HATS OFF , FOR ALLOWING THEM TO WORK, ALBEIT, MAYBE MORE ADULT SUPERVISION, BUT THEY WILL GROW UP TO BE PRODUCTIVE ADULTS, THANKFUL FOR THAT IN THIS DAY AND AGE

Wonderful experience with knowledgeable people. They were able to repair my lawnmower when others wanted me to spend hundreds on a new mower because it would be cheaper than fixing mine. I spent far less on repairs here and it runs better than when I originally purchased it.

August 4th 2017 was the day we dropped off our pressure washer at Mack s saw shop. We have been there 10+ times and call even more to check on it, several months ago it was still in parts. Today September 21, 2018 we went down to check on it and was treated very rudely by the owners son. Finally I went in and talked to the new guy and still almost 14 months later it is not finished, it looks like it has been sitting in dirt and oil, it is rusting and looks nothing like it did when we took it to Mack s to be repaired. My husband and myself decided to just take it with us, since being home my husband has noticed it is missing many parts,screws and bolts. All I have to say is we love to support local small businesses but wow just wow how are these guys still in business. Seriously thinking about taking this business owner to small claims court. Think twice before you use this business for any repairs or purchases.

Can't be bothered to return calls for parts even after The customer being myself does all the leg work for them. The girl who answers phone has no clue what she is doing or even how to look up a part. Lost my business before u ever made a sale... Nice work!! I will make sure to let everyone I know mack's saw shop doesn't need there business. SINCE MACK'S BELOW ME OFF I ORDERED FROM A SHOP IN EUGENE EVEN WITH MAIL TIME I WILL STILL HAVE THE PART BEFORE MACK'S EVEN BOTHERS TO CALL BACK....

I was having trouble finding a part for a lawn mover that I could not find anywhere. The teenage boy found a part in the back that would work and charged fairly for the part. The kid really knew is stuff! I definitely recommend them! Great knowledgeable service.

Dropped my lawn mower off 3 weeks ago to have the pull start string replaced. Was told it would be 2 weeks to fix, I said fine an left it. Called today to check in and was told it would be 2 or 3 more weeks. Haven't even started on it yet.

I'm sure these guys know their trade, but they could use some training in customer service. I had my chainsaw carb adjusted by them, which didn't quite fix the problem, so I called to arrange a follow up to get it dialed in. After several questions, which I simply answered, along with a comment that I have experience with these things, just not the right tool for adjusting the jets. In response, Jared saw fit to flippantly say "Well, I guess you know everything". I said that if he was just gonna be a smart ass, f*** you, too which he said "Come on down here and tell me that." REALLY? There's a difference between confidence and obnoxious arrogance .Maybe Jared should look it up.

This is a great place on South Bound 101 where access is from the South Carriage way, near the Pancake house. This shop is more than cutting. It has materials for building Bee Hives, Clothes, Lawn mowers, Sit down riding mowers, Chain Saws, log splitters and 2nd Amendment supplies. Having a sale on now September 2018. Also they service and repair too.

I was told this shop was good a long time ago but over the years there business has gotten worse and worse. To go along with it the kids basically run the customer service end of the shop and are horrible. Save your money and go to C & M equipment in gold beach.

YOU LET 25 DOLLARS ON A 300 DOLLAR SALE BE A DEAL BREAKER WHAT A DUMB BUISNESS MOVE!!!!!!! Mac's saw shop REFUSED (on three separate occasions) to simply match the price of other dealers so I had no choice but to call my local True value hardware and asked if they would match other dealers. They were so happy to hear from me and ordered my saw ON THE SPOT. Now I have my new Echo chain saw and at the FAIR MARKET VALUE Thanks to online info i didn't let Mac's saw shop RIP ME OFF

Took over a month to replace the choke assembly last year. Now I need a belt. Drove in to pick one up, little girl needed model numbers. Went home and called in the numbers. Told it would be in in 3 days. Called in today to see if it was ready. Little girl said the numbers were no good. When asked why she didn't call back to let me know that, she didn't know. I'm sick of dealing with a child and will no longer go to this dealer, unless I'm forced to for warranty work.

Always a good experience. Young kids very competent. Girl will get on the phone and find answers from the supplier if she can't answer your questions. It is an hour round trip for us but worth it.

The place is horrible, they lie, they hang up on u when u are just trying to figure out what's going on, they told me so many different stories, hard to keep anything straight, had sleepless nights because of there unprofessional attitude!!! If ur smart just stay away!!!
