This is what a car dealership should be. Ken was incredibly kind, helpful, and honest, and I got exactly the deal I asked for. We will definitely be back when we are ready to buy another vehicle, and I ve already recommended Sunwest and Ken to my friends who are in the market! Thanks for taking such great care of us.

My car club did a trunk or treat in the parking lot that had a great turn out by members and trick or treaters. Sunwest has always been a great dealership with some of the best employees working for them. 5 stars to Sunwest

I highly recommend buying a car from Sunwest Mazda in Newport. This is the second Mazda I ve purchased through them in 10 years and both times it was a seamless shopping experience. I traded in my Mazda 3 for a 2021 CX-5 and they were able to find the color and trim I wanted and had it delivered in a few days. Bill was an excellent salesman! He was knowledgeable about the vehicle and showed me how to use all the new features that are available with today s technology. I absolutely love this car and will keep taking my Mazda to get serviced, as I have for nearly 10 years.

We have not purchased a brand new car in 17 years and were actually dreading the whole process of going to a dealership. I must say, however, that Dan and Jeff made the whole car buying experience so pleasant! They were patient while we took the time to make our decision, knew the product, answered our questions and gave us a good price.We decided on a 2017 CRV in Sandstorm Metallic and love it!IWe would highly recommend Sunwest to anyone we know who is shopping for a new car.

Sunwest Mazda and Honda is a great place to shop for a car. I just bought a 2018 Mazda 6 Signature line. They got me the color and trim that I wanted in just one day. This car is gorgeous, drives like a dream, and comes equipped with all the Safety, Comfort, and Tech features anyone could want. Jon Martinez was patient and knowledgeable--and funny too!I found the best price online and they matched the price! No need to "go to the valley" to get a great deal!

We recently purchased a Honda Passport at Sunwest and had an exceptionally good experience. We test drove the car and then explained we were just beginning our search. We then drove to Salem the next day and drove cars at two more dealerships. We almost purchased a Subaru but were given the "good old boy gang up on the customer" treatment. We walked. We drove back to Newport, test drove the Passport again and bought it on the spot. Our initial salesperson was Ken, who couldn't have been more polite and helpful. He wasn't in the office when we returned to buy the car and he handed us over to Bill who was wonderful and very knowledgeable about the car. Jeff handled our paperwork and couldn't have been more easy going. There were no hard sell tactics, just good old-fashioned service. They gave us a good trade in value on our older car as well. We left happy and remain happy.

Where do I start!? I came into sunwest not really knowing what I wanted. I was so lucky to have been referred to Bill, he helped walk me through everything stress free. I definitely felt as though i was getting a car that fit my needs and budget and not trying to be oversold on all the bells and whistles which let's be realistic I would LOVE to have but just weren't a necessity for me. If your looking for someone to help get you through an awesome car buying experience I highly recommend Bill! Tell him Jamie sent ya!The staff was also very helpful in keeping my small human entertained during the process Thank you Bill and Sunwest!

I recently took my vehicle to Sunwest for maintenance and repairs. Chris in the service department was extremely helpful with getting parts quickly so the mechanic could do his job. The detail crew even washed my vehicle for me. Thanks to the whole team for a job well done!

First of all, most dealerships are just an all around miserable experience. Bill at Sunwest made my time so painless! He was so kind, so funny, and just a pleasure to be around. Even my children had a great time being there and we left with the SUV of our dreams!I definitely recommend Sunwest to anyone looking for an honest and credible dealership that is compassionate and understanding! I am not going to need a new rig for quite some time, but when I do.. I'll definitely go back to Bill!

Our car buying experience was excellent. Mary & I told them what we were looking for and they listened. Got an honest deal and are quite pleased with all aspects of our visit and purchase. The free popcorn gave the sales area a great ambiance.

Great people there ! Very honest, friendly and great down to earth people ! I'd send my best friends and family to buy a vehicle there or have service work done . After buying one of our first cars from them we went back and bought a second one from the same great people .for us it it little over 3 hour drive round trip to Sunwest and well worth it . Very happy each time and all the vehicles are well priced ,

So we had some minor issues with our Honda odyssey. The folks were extremely friendly and understanding. Got us in right away!! Nice when you meet a business that understands customer needs that are on vacation!!!

I needed an oil change during a trip, unexpectedly. These wonderful people were able to fit me in immediately, the whole thing took less than an hour, and they completed a factory recall issue as well. I could not have been happier. Oh, did I mention, they washed the car as well! Kudos

Went in due to a recall on the inflator for my airbag being defective, and it needed to be replaced. I was in and out within the hour, Lizzie, the woman at the parts counter made my wait extremely enjoyable. She was very fun, bubbly, and talkative. It made the process go along a lot faster for me, and she answered every question I had. I would definitely come back to Sunwest Honda - Mazda any time I need repairs.

The people at Sunwest Honda are so friendly, informative, and professional! They answer questions in a manner that I who knows nothing about cars can understand. I have an older Honda and they check it out, advise me what needs to be done and what the cost will be. We make an appointment and it's done in a timely manner. If I lived in the valley, I would drive here to this Honda dealer.

I have generally had great experience here. My complaint isn't about the people or the service, but the interior of the business. Honda should have top notch "curb appeal" but this shop in particular is truly lacking. From the inside to the outside, the floors, paint, worn-out holes in the furniture, I feel like I am in the ghetto. Honda, if you want to sell me a $50,000 car step up your game by making me feel good from the first step in the door. From visiting Ford and Toyota dealerships here in town, Honda is the worst when it comes to first impressions.

I told them I was about to go on a road trip across the country and asked them to check my wheel bearing which multiple people had already told me was busted and the sound was SO LOUD AND OBVIOUS. They lied and said they checked it. I had to ask them 3 times to check it first of all and they kept acting like they forgot. Had they really checked it they would have seen how broken it was. Driving it at 20 miles per hour, you could tell it was broken. Luckily the next mechanic I went to helped me out and showed me all the damage. Please don t go to the dealership. They are lazy and don t care about your well being. I am beyond upset that they put my well being at stake.

We were visiting Florence from out of state when our transmission would not come out of "park". We called Sunwest Honda in Newport and they told us to come in that day even though they were booked and they would somehow fit us in. After approximately 45 minutes, the service manager told us that our problem was a blown fuse which he not only replaced but gave us an extra. Everyone from the salesman who greeted us at the door to the gentleman who washed our car prior to our departure was professional and courteous. If Sunwest Honda treats out of town customers whom they know they will probably never see again this well, then perhaps we should move to Newport. went in with a dead battery. they checked the electrical system and charged the battery. they found nothing and sent me on my way. I paid $49.00. next day my battery was dead in my driveway. My neighbor gave me a jump and followed me to the Sunwest service department once again. this time they told me my battery post was too small for the terminal. they put a sleeve on and charged me 29.00 and sent me on my way. I parked the car in my drive way for 2 days and found the battery dead once again. I called the service once again and asked them so send someone over to jump start my car. 1 and 1/2 hour later a kid shows up and gets my car started. I drove it to the Honda dealer in Hillsboro Oregon 116 miles away. they found a bad fan motor relay that was discharging my battery. the Hillsboro dealer not only found the root cause...they fixed it and now everything is working and my battery is not dead every day. I feel the Sunset service department wouldn't try and actually fix the issue, they took the easy out each time and didn't help me with the actual root cause. I wont go back.

Very quick to respond to our needs. Replaced our low beam headlights in the first twenty minutes when we arrived at the shop and the price was right for the work that was done.

Went to get my oil changed, everyone was very friendly, time was much quicker than expected!They had coffee and tea in the waiting room as well as comfy chairs.

To start off I'm very grateful to sunwest for finding a 1300 hundred dollar replacement transmission for my car that has the CV transmission. Now here's the fun part it had a recall for a battery module that could start a fire the battery hold down was in the trunk. When I got home the battery it had slipped over onto the engine compartment. I was installing a new k and n air filter.And after talking to a salesman he said they always give you a clean car. after 2300 bucks I would hope so. Do to the premature failure of the transmission cvtransmission. it sat for a year. When I picked it up it was unwashed. Even power GM cleaned my 2000 Pontiac a while back for a recall fix they cleaned my car. And there's more I dropped the car off on a Sunday the only employee closed up and drove away while the tow truck was there .looked right at us and never asked if we needed help. Lucky for the key drop box. Be nice to get a reply like my sister cathy Clark . Except if this used transmission messes up during my 12 month warranty. The cvtransmission is not the same as real automatic trans. I own a nice 1990 acura integra so I know how hondas were built good. The ones from the land of the rising sun. I spoke to Mike the manager today March 26 he's a going to look into it. As of 4 19 19 . No follow up. Nothing. Being that you guys have ads featuring reviewers on the radio . Have me and my review on the radio I dare you. Go to Rick's import in Newport for good service.

We took our Subaru in when we had an issue during our road trip. They were very helpful and friendly, minimizing the impact of the problem during our vacation. We would take our vehicle here if we lived locally.
