Absolutely amazing group of people here I m thoroughly impressed!!! I called & got a unbeatable quote ($390 vs $600-$700 that I was quoted by 3 other local shops I called!!) on replacing two of my trucks tires. Roly got me in immediately, replaced my tires (they were basically bald & terribly unsafe) while I waited & I was back on the road.I highly recommend you check them out if you re in the market for tires or other mechanical work on your vehicle! I m so happy I found them :-)

The owner, Roly was so nice incredibly fast service, super detailed. They were able to give me an appointment the next morning and had my new tires on in less than a couple hours. SUPPORT LOCAL Y ALL

While on a trip from Canada, I noticed cords in my front tire showing from poor wheel alignment. One of the owners was able to help find me two used tires and have them installed in half an hour in spite of being madly busy. A true gentleman and professional! They truly saved my honeymoon from potential disaster!

Prestigious local business with amazing staff. Called ahead to announce myself, (had a nail in my tire), crew juggled me in flawlessly without hesitation. Would definitely recommend to anybody from out of town!

Brought my car to have my head light fixed and also for a car tune up. The head light got fixed but the defroster settings of my car heater is ruined. It now makes a weird noise whenever I turn it on low setting, and it gets worse on high defrost setting. I now need to bring it to another place to get it fixed because I don t trust them at all anymore. Frankly, I m disappointed since my husband recommended them to me awhile ago. I won t be recommending them to anyone.

Go in and see Rolly for your RV or tire needs, he's been in the tire business longer than most of his customers have been on earth, and he and his son Mark are great local experts in their field. Go in and have a talk with a couple of local business owners and take advantage of the decades of experience Pacific Tire has to offer you.

It took them half a year to do a 1-2 week job...I brought my SUV in at the beginning of the year to get the front of its drive train rebuilt. I expected 1-2 weeks of it being in the shop, which is what the owners of the shop told me too. However, I got it back halfway through the year, after over five months. Over five months...During that entire time I was not called about it once. No update calls. Nothing. I called every now and then, and every time nothing had been done. The guy "working" on it even went on vacation during this time and it sat untouched. One of the times I called, they had finally checked it out and were waiting for my okay to order parts. They never called to ask, just let it sit for a week before I called.I was never disrepectful to anyone there, didn't bug them, and was always nice on the phone. But after half a year when I finally went to pick my SUV up, I was greeted by one of their employees getting up in my face and being very aggressive like he was going to punch me because I parked in front of his truck by accident. I moved my other vehicle, and he stormed off. When I went inside, the owners not only did not care that I had waited half a year, they were actually rude to me despite myself maintaining composure. They then charged me over $4,000, and wouldn't lower the price at all. The work done was alright so far but not work $4,000.TLDR; So, in the end, it took them half a year to do a 1-2 week job, I wasn't called at all during that time, one of their employees was extremely aggressive towards me, I was overcharged at $4,000, and the owners were rude and without a care. Absaloutely would never recommend Pacific Tire at all. Ever. I rate 0/5.

Went to get a quote for a brake repair, not only did I save a few hundred bucks from the quote I was given at Les Schwab but the service was also excellent. Shoutout to Tyler for the great work and customer service.

Good grief! What happened to this place?? Got my jeep back just before they closed today, got a couple miles away and noticed the 'Check engine' light was on all the sudden and it was sputtering. Engine died. Turned around and they had closed. When i finally got it home, the splash guard was particularly un-installed and Hanging down.. Definitely wasn't like this at all when i dropped it off.. When o drove by the other day, i noticed they had all four tires off just to do my water pump??? Is that normal?? No. This is NOT your mothers auto guys anymore. Sad.

Stopped by this morning after having a blow out on our rental car. Rental company said it was my responsibility. Even though they gave me a car with 4 bald tires to go on a 1000 mile road trip up the coast. Anyways my car was ready and on the road in less than 2 hours and. They qouted me 95 for a new tire which is extremely fair and honest pricing. Then when he rings me up said they had a used tire so I only paid 40 bucks!!!! Wish I had a shop like this where I live! Good to see a honest mechanic. Would give more stars if possible!

This place would have received 5 stars from me except for it's customer service. Went in to have new tires installed. 4 hours later, I was on my way back home. It appears, from returning customers, that they may have had the same experience for they all arrived with a ride. Would have been nice if that had been told to me when making the appointment.

The last couple of times we have taken our cars to Rolli and Mark at Pacific Break and Tire we have been treated fairly and with kindness. We had some pretty sudden and urgent repairs needing to be done (break wise) and they had no problem fitting us in! We will definitely keep bringing our cars here! Great customer service!! :)

Came in for a tire balance, and I ended up also paying to have two slow leaks repaired due to bead leakage. This was fine, except that I was not asked and did not authorize the additional repair. Not too big a deal. I didn't complain. A bigger problem was that when I got home and looked under the car to see if everything looked okay, I saw that one of the boots on my tie rod was twisted 180 degrees and had a hole in it. It was brand new. I had just had the tie rods and boots replaced, which is why I needed the alignment. I did not go back to complain, so I can't bellyache too much since I didn't ask them to make it right. Everyone was nice, and the place seemed well run. Perhaps it was just a rare goof up. I have this to say, it pays to inspect repair work. Mechanics are human, and they can overlook things or, occasionally, be less than forthcoming about how the repair went. I suspect the former is true in my case.

Less than 24 hour turnaround on a shocks/struts job where the parts had to be ordered from Portland! They called with an estimate at 5:30, and my car was ready by 10:30 the next day. The price, service, and people were great! I will definitely be back for business in the future!

Good service mark and Beto always make sure my 1992 ford falcon camper van is ready for a trip there was something that was missed on my last visit but Mark promptly took care of the problem and the shop didn't make me feel bad for for bringing the van back in for a problem that wasn't fixed at first good customer service

I knew going in thatI was paying an above market price for my bus tires. I deemed it too risky to drive to Corvallis, so I agreed to the $904 price. During the installation process, 4 contiguous lug studs were stripped. Not only did I have to wait for 4 days to get replacements for the parts they ruined, but I got charged for them, and $56 dollars for the labor. When I voiced my anger at this, the owner, Mark, asked me to explain what they could have done differently. Clearly, this trick has worked in the past. I don t know, Mark. I m not a mechanic. I do know that nobody learned a lesson, except me. Your young techs will continue to ruin Parts. No biggy. The customer will just pick up the bill.$904 for 2 tires + $99 for the 4 bolts = $1003

Pacific Tire & Brake is top notch service and expertise bumper to bumper on my '13 Ford Ecape, Mark and his employees are super nice guys. Made an appointment for my brakes and asked if they could check out some warning lights on my dash. I live in Newport and was referred by my boss Joanne who has taken her Corvette and all her cars & trucks to Mark for years! Mark and his team of experts ran diagnostics on my car and found several problems and fixed them ALL and save me thousands on my bill! Thank you Mark! ! !...oh and my brakes were done great job!

Will never be back and won't recommend. Went for a brake line rebuild that took 3 months. Then my ignition went out and the mechanic I took it to found my ignition box full of brake fluid and it eroded it. Cost me 1000 dollars for a complete rebuild.

Pacific Tire and Brake saved our vacation! We were driving through Newport when our rental car started making a high pitched screeching sound when we braked. Pacific Tire and Brake was the closest auto body shop and they were so fast and helpful. It turned out a small rock got stuck between the brake pads. They gave us the rock as a souvenir and sent us on our way without charging us. This review is a long time coming, and I feel guilty I forgot to write one sooner. Every year when the pictures of our trip pop up on Google, I m reminded of their kindness and generosity. We have some great memories from our Oregon trip, and Pacific Tire and Brake were part of that.

Appointments are taken without regard to ability to service the cars.I had the first appointment of the day. At lunch time, when I expressed concern for needing my car by 6pm, I was told they had a lot of appointments for the day. At that time my car was still in the parking lot, not on the lift (after 3.5 hours there). In the end, I was charged $25 for a 5 minute procedure I saw how to do on YouTube.... and the same issue came back 2 days later

Bought four new tires here almost a year ago - great service and they do free rotations! They are my go-to tire guys! Very straight forward and informative. When pricing new tires they gave me all the options and let me choose without trying to sell me things I didn t need.

We took our Jeep in for brakes and a tire rotation. Turns out our brakes are fine so the just rotated the tires. The HONESTY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE was by far the best we have err ever experienced. Oh and by the way the brake inspection was NO CHARGE and they just rotated the tires for free because they had them off... 5 stars doesn't seem adequate... Thank you gentlemen...

We drove our 1993 class A motorhome from Illinois to the coast and we were getting ready to head back so I wanted to get an oil change... I brought it in the Friday before Labor Day, they did the oil change and noticed the rear axle was leaking into the passenger side rear brakes. They close at noon on Saturday and considering the holiday weekend they would not be open until Tuesday. We were planning on leaving Sunday... They got the parts in and stayed open late on Saturday and got us back on the road safely to head back to Illinois. We made it home safely and drove though some 8%-9% grade mountains with confidence. Very friendly and busy shop, I'm so glad I chose them for the oil change. Thanks everyone at Pacific Tire & Brake!

I just finished working with Mark on a little project updating his i Scan-II WT. It was a pleasure. He has the best European and Asian scanner in his shop.He was quick and a great customer to work with.If you have an European car you will be in great hands at this location! If you see a check engine light, stop by and talk to Mark, he will help you to understand what you may need to do.

Our car broke down on a holiday weekend with a dead fuel pump. Someone stopped on the highway and gave us a ride into town. The nice people recommended that we have our car towed to Pacific Tire and Brake for repair. Monday was Labor Day so Tuesday morning we were there at 7:30 AM when Pacific Tire and Brake opened. The friendly man opening the shop said that they could probably get our car repaired the same day. He offered to lend us a loaner car while ours was getting repaired, a Cadillac. I don't recall being offered a loaner car by any other repair shop in 20 years. Most of the crew comes in around 9 AM, he said, so we'll start on yor car then. We went off to get breakfast and see the tourist sights while they worked. They phoned us about 9:30 and gave us a firm estimate for the repair, about what we expected to pay. Sometime after lunch we drove past and saw our car up on a hoist with a couple of mechanics working away on it's underneath. Their work was done about 3:30 PM so we got a call and went to get our car. The bill was only what had been estimated. I found out from talking to the old guy at their desk that they have to own a special $1,800 polution abatement machine for draining a fuel tank in order to work on fuel pumps in Oregon.Pacific Tire and Brake has a name that doesn't begin to describe their full service car and RV repair shop. It apparently began as a tire shop decades ago but has expanded and now is full service repair. After our good experience I can understand why the local gentleman recommended them to us when we were stranded with a broken down car.
