I got my rental in 10 minutes! Car was clean. Smelled clean too! The guy was very professional and he should me how to use the heater, radio, and other basic things. My rental was a smooth drive! Very comfortable and I felt safe.I will be using thus company again.

We had to rent a car last minute while staying at a beach house in Waldport. Jeff set us up with the best vehicle for our needs. He was absolutely friendly and most helpful. The process was quick and accommodating. He even checked up with us a couple days later to make sure we were satisfied. Definitely! Thank you, Jeff. And thank you Brice for helping us with the return process. You made it effortless. Great experience overall. Highly recommend!

We rented from the Newport Enterprise agency 2024 Jan 5 a new Rav4 Toyota to drive to Tampa Florida one way. Everyone at the agency was helpful and expeditious. My husband wanted to try out the Toyota instead of the other rental and they were very accomodating. We received a call from them while driving through Texas. Not sure if they really were being customer service or worried we'd absconded with their rental, ha,ha. But she was pleasant and didn't seem worried. We took it back to the Gandy Blvd. agency in Tampa on the 11th. No problems on the road or with our contract or anything. They picked us up and dropped us off both times. Couldn't ask for better.

I showed up 3 minutes before close and was greeted kindly and accommodated immediately. I can t express how grateful I am I was given a ride back to the dealership too! I highly recommend this location!

Couldn't be more pleased with their services!These folks were so gracious and accommodating.Could NOT miss my grandkids' summer visit, so rented a car to get them while mine was still in the shop for repairs.The entire experience was so easy and seamless.HIGHLY recommend!

We drove from Portland, where the employees were really cool, but Brice was twice as nice! Honestly renting a car can be stressful but he made the check in process a breeze. Keep up the great work!

Well so far so good on the rental. The car they gave me is pretty darn cool. It's super quick and handels the corners very well. I could get into a lot of trouble if this was my personal vehicle. So far I'm happy. Curtious service, and fast check in. I haven't turned the car in yet but if anything goes sour I'll post another review. But so far I'm very happy.

Great experience! Would be 5 stars, but for some reason it is really hard to get through on the phone. They were able to get us a car a day earlier then our reservation and stayed a few minutes late, to get it done and when we called to extend it they were able to accommodate us. The car was a bit more used than we are used to for rentals, 40000+ miles, but it got the job done.

I rented a car ( as I was going business during this busy time of the year ). The rented a car that was definitely not working well. I got stranded in the middle of a storm with the fact the car was having issues. I tried explaining to management several times and have yet to get any answers to why they rented this car that clearly needed maintenance.

I had an excellent experience working with Alex Urquhart to rent a car at Enterprise Newport Oregon . Alex was incredibly personable, very knowledgeable, and was able to get me a car quickly. The 2018 Ford vehicle i rented was clean and in great condition. Overall i am very happy with the service provided at Enterprise. I will most definitely recommend this company to others and will be back as a customer in the future. Thank you!

I set up a car rental from Newport Oregon to Seattle Washington. I set everything up over the phone with the staff at the Newport location. They told me the drop location I wanted wouldn t be any problem and to drop it off at the scheduled 4:30 time. Come to find out that location closed at 1:00 and when I called customer service they said I couldn t do an after closing drop off at that location. This trip was for work and this issue ended up causing a delay in being able to start my job and brought on a lot of stress. Very disappointed in the customer service and lack of accurate information.

Very helpful sales person and has a good sense of humor. Was efficient and got us through the paperwork quickly and return was a breeze. Have not had a car rental place be that quick or care enough to make sure you were served graciously. Salesman even called later in day to check to see all was ok.

First let me say that the staff here was super helpful and friendly. Our interaction was with Scott and Lyric. Our problem is with the company itself, we called on Saturday morning from Lincoln City to get picked up to go pick up a car. The person who made the reservation said a car would be at our hotel in an hour and a half. After waiting 2 hours I called to see what happened only to find out that they never sent a driver nor would they pick us up cause we were too far away. At this point all the location were about to close. We had to wait till Monday. Stuck in that city. On Monday we reserved a car only to find out that if your from out of state you cannot use a debit card... So we had to wait 24 hrs for the funds to transfer to our credit card. 3 days later we finally got a car. Really the whole experience was kind of a nightmare.

The Newport Enterprise has the nicest and cleanest cars. Even though I had to wait for my car to be ready, the ladies there made sure to take the time to get the car completely clean which I appreciated. My mother hasn't got her covid shots yet so she is higher risk. We love using Enterprise!

Will never rent from them again!!! The vehicle was not what I reserved which increased my overall cost due to worse gas mileage. That would not have too much of a problem if they hadn't charged me for an extra day while the vehicle was already dropped off. It said black on white in the contract that the vehicle would be dropped off after hours and it was. They were unwilling to refund the extra day! No sense of honor! My business is going somewhere else!!! Don't waste your time and money with those crooks! Wish there was a negative star rating!Have a great day!

We took our original rental vehicle back for a replacement and had the best customer service and she was very knowledgeable, quick and made the transition smoothly and gave us an upgrade (free of charge) for our troubles and the amount of stuff we had. **UPDATE** I quickly needed a rental when my car sold before I could take delivery on the new one. The Newport, Oregon Enterprise is the only car rental agency in our little tourist town. Some locals choose to make a three hour round trip drive to Salem to save 25-30%. (It's actually two three hour round trips because the car has to go back to the same location or a hefty "one way trip drop charge" is added on.) Personally, I recommend staying local. When I factor in the hours of driving it saves me, it's the better deal. Plus, the folks working in Newport (locals themselves) know we could save a buck elsewhere. They appreciate locals. Today, we worked with Scott. If he's not management, he should be for having that knack of being personable and professional at the same time. Being made to feel that my business is important and valued is what keeps me coming back, and highly recommending, Newport's Enterprise.Original ReviewAwesome people here. Handled everything for me regarding insurance billing, etc. Picked me up on time and, after I arrived at their location, let me switch my vehicle choice. During the car exam to look for pre-existing dents, scratches, etc, the young woman helping me found more than I even saw. The return was super simple, less than a minute of my time.

Friendly staff, decent selection of cars. The only car rental in Newport or the whole Oregon Coast really. One day they sold out of cars, so make your reservation in advance. 4 stars because I'm still waiting for my refund for the 2nd day they told me they'd take care of 2 weeks ago.

I will never use Enterprise in Newport, OR again! I was stranded with my 1 yr old grandson after a break down. My car insurance arranged for a rental from Enterprise. I went into the office after repeated calls went unanswered or was disconnected, after a half hour of calls back and forth to my insurance trying to find my reservation, they finally found it, had me fill out all the info, THEN told me they didn t have a car for me and might not by the end of the day. Said they would call IF they got a car for me. I arranged for a rental from the dealership at a much lower rate. That was on a Friday. Drove by the lot twice that weekend, both times the lot was full of all kinds of vehicles. Finally get a call at 1pm on Monday asking if I still needed a vehicle! I said don t you think you should have called me before this especially after I told you I had my grandsons and no car?! She said yeah we probably should have called before this. I hung up on her.

Alex was one of the most friendly and helpful people I have ever met in a customer service setting. He was polite, quick and told me everything I needed to know about the car. Will definitely return again when I need a car!

Not complaining about the car we got it s nice!but smells awful because of cigarette i noticed they haven t cleaned it i dont smoke the smells just give me terrible headaches so Had to clean it when i got home.They should have a rental car for non smoking and smoking customers.

Had a one way rental to the airport in Portland. Not many options out of the Newport, Lincoln City Oregon area but the operation was running great. Was promptly greeted and getting the car was as easy and quick as some of the biggest locations I have ever visited. I will be back and thanks.

Very helpful staff. Straight forward and upfront pricing. No surprise fees and the end of the rental. Cars are clean and well maintained. Easy in and out. Best car rental company on the coast. I've rented here many times and will be back

Friendly, helpful staff, car was clean and ready, pickup and drop off went smoothly. Unlimited milage makes this a better deal than the closer local car rental company. I put close to 1,000 miles on the car in the four days that I had it, paying a milage fee (plus gas) would be an issue.

I would give 5 stars but it took longer than expected to get the car the first day. I think it was made up for due to the nice car I got to drive (a Chevy Cruze!) and the excellent customer service my aunt and I got when I returned the car.

My truck rental could not have been easier. The professionalism of the lady who served me (I wish I had noted her name) was stellar. I seldom need to rent a car or truck but when I do, I will NOT hesitate to use this office. I saved nearly $100 on my pickup truck rental when compared with the other option in Newport.

I have rented from many locations and all the major automotive rental names. The management at the Newport enterprise location has done a great job. Even with the covid virus lurking I feel comfortable renting from this location with the cleaning and disinfectan detail they provide. The vehicle pickup is painless and fast. I have had convenience store visits that take longer. Thank you Newport Oregon enterprise for your outstanding service.
