Diane is the rudest employee ever, I've had issues with her, today my wife was in there with our kids, my wife was 55 cents short she was digging in her purse for it, Diane belittled my wife, told her to shoosh and said she should have had her money ready before she came in to the store! Corporate should be doing something because management won't do anything, I wouldn't even leave one star if I had that option. Diane is lucky I wasn't there, I don't know who she thinks she is but a HUGE DOUBLE MIDDLE FINGER TO HER! SHAME on you for treating my wife that way in front of my children. If your job sucks so bad quit, if your life sucks that bad change it lady

Today it's a 2 sometimes I come in and it's a 1 but when this lady named Donna is worked by don't expect a smile, help or much anything else she needs some customer service training really bad! I've had 5 encounters with her and all 5 were terrible, maybe she just doesn't like me

I needed a small dish drainer also the mat, they used to bundle them together. $1.25 each versus $8 at other stores.

Huge selection of sandals and all sorts of beach supplies for the whole family. We stop here to grab drinks and extra supplies before hitting the beach. Big store - fast service. Easy to see from the road next to auto parts and big 5 right off hwy 1.

Lady at the register asked the customer to do something different next rime and the guy appologized. But then she kept on and on and on. Had to get the last word out after the guy clearly said that he herd what she said. Thought it was over with and then she kept on going. Then proceded to talk about her break while checking me out. I wanted to say can you please cash me out before you take your attention away from the transaction you are on. Lady deffinatly needs to repremanded for how she was talking to the customer in front of me.

I really like the dollar tree. It's a great place to pick up cheap materials for crafts. I also like the fact that I can satisfy my four year olds toy desires on a budget. It's a must check out on a regular basis because the inventory changes often and according to the seasons.

I like dollar tree, usually the cashiers are nice, but that Disne is just rude, don't know what her problem is but Diane if you don't like your job , don't take it out on the customer because if there are no customers you won't have a job . Management needs to talk to her about her snippy attitude and that not the first time she's been rude to me.

Friendly staff. Good location. Pretty easy to get in and out. This is always a stop when we are in the area. I do wish it was still $1 and not $1.25 but it is what it is.I like to get crafty things (paint, coloring books, etc) for the littles. Great place to get greeting cards. Lots of selection.

Dollar Tree is the best place in town for holiday decorations, "silk" flowers, cheap kitchen gadgets, and buying more than you came in for! I love shopping here. With the price of everything exploding, Dollar Tree is still just $1.25 for anything in the store. And what variery! ...paint brushes to candles to toothpaste to wrapping paper and everything in between - even groceries - all for $1.25

Be careful of the worker that slaps hands at that store. I will not be going back. It wasn t me that she slapped but my friend was. It was this morning sometime February 13. I would ve called the police myself.

The staff is pretty friendly here, the store isn't overly busy but it's pretty steady. The wait in line isnt terribly long, the store is clean and generally pretty well organized.

We all love the prices at the Dollar Tree. However, there is no sense of decency or community flowing from this place. You never see the same people from month to month. They have the highest turnover in town. It would be nice if they picked better employees and treated them well.

Diane was my cashier was out of line judging/speaking to me about my aperience/clothing. Some one in the group spoke there mind and management was called over and kicked that person out. I payed and left.

Even though the shelves desperately needed restocked, there was still options to choose from. I managed to find $30 worth of merchandise that just had to come home with me. I always find things to compliment my gnome village! Too fun!!

Always a hoot to go in there. Not sure what you will find for a dollar.I get the candles, kids books and puzzles.Employees are upbeat and can ask any if have a certain item and they can tell exactly where it is or tell you they don't carry anything like it.

Can't beat this place, everything you need in a pinch. Break a nail? Get an entire manicure set for 1.25! Kids bored? Puzzles, pencils, toys and snacks all in one place. Took a friend there for the first time, 67.oo later....Seriously, clean, well organized and efficient.

Love the Dollar Tree! Bought a few of my favorite items that I only buy at Dollar Tree!!! They are having a hard time getting freight put out, but the spring decorations are doing well!!!

Customer service ranges from acceptable to excellent. Standard dollar store fare is always available as well as the treasure hunter whatever comes into a dollar store.This is a true dollar store... not stuff that starts at a dollar and goes up fro there.

Diane was a cashier that was extremely rude to me and my roommate. When we went in there our card declined for wrong pin and had to step out of line to fix it and she yanked the cart out of my hand and then when we went back in to pay for our stuff she gave my roommate attitude about us coming back in to get our stuff.

Found everything i needed and then some, cashier was not friendly at all, needs to learn to smile and say thank you, acted like she doesn't like her job, should not work with the public! I worked in guest services for 35 years and no matter what kind of day you are having, always be friendly and helpful!

Was told I had to leave cause I didnt have a mask. Whats the point of getting a vaccine if they are gonna make you wear one anyway? So this happens and the employee whom said something as soon as i leave pulls down the mask she was wearing and begins coughing all over the store as she walked around. Then opens the door for a couple kids and coughs all over them as they enter.... maybe im the lucky one... good luck making it with one less patron!

Fun place to hang while waiting out a rain storm. Friendly, happy employee showed me and the other water avoiding patrons some best and worst buys. Extolled the virtues of the bags of meatballs on sale for $1 and threatened to feed them to us if we didn't buy something. I blew twenty minutes, laughed a lot and walked out with every dollar still in my wallet.

Dollar Tree is a fun place to shop in Newport or other towns. Intetesting merchandise. Important to pay attention to sizes of things because they are often less than ither retailers, but depending on your neefs, it may be ok to get a smaller portion. I find its a great place to shop for greeting cards, especially seasonal cards. Nice staff.

Stole $10 from me. I gave a twenty and they did an audit and said I gave them a ten. I AM 100% SURE I GAVE A TWENTY AS I needed a ten in the change. Store manager yelled at me. BTW they didn't count $ in drawer. They used some weight measurement to say what was in cash drawer. I asked formanager name and was YELLED at.

Dollar Tree in Newport is great. Decent selection, great prices ($1.25) and friendly staff. Highly recommended.
