Yes, finally a Automotive shop that knows what they are doing. Great service, honest pricing, quick and knowledgeable.I have been going to Carr Chevy for service, and finally got wise and tired of the incredibly poor communication, sky high prices for remedial services (I need to learn how to change my own oil) and parts that never seem to come in or on time.I called over to Tyler s in Newberg after a super high price was given to replace my AC conductor on my truck. Not only did then spec it out, got the parts and scheduled service quickly, but they did so in one day, $400 less then Carr for the same service. They guys are super friendly, they asked inquiry questions to find the true issue with the vehicle. Who better to ask then the actual driver?? Weird huh?I wish I knew about them earlier. They are straight shooters, well priced, very insightful and offered options. Amazing.PS. Make sure you know who you are calling, I accidentally called the Tigard location. Opppss they have three locations in Wilsonville, Tigard and Newberg. Don t set an appointment at the incorrect location like I did initially.

Went in for heater core repair on my Jetta and left with a ruined alignment, horn didn t work, and the dash wasn t put back together correctly. Brought vehicle back for them to fix these things and they claimed my subframe was shifted so they couldn t fix the alignment without major repairs to the subframe. They somehow made the alignment even worse so I did the alignment myself without touching the subframe and it drive straight as an arrow now. They claim my dash can t be put back together without doing custom modifications to it? Complete bs. They wanted to charge me diagnostic fees to figure out the horn since the spiral cable wasn t broken . Guess what the problem was? Yeah a broken spiral cable. Not to mention the countless loose screws and screws just laying around not even installed anywhere. Only good thing I can say is they were friendly and my heat works now Service: A/C installation & repair

Tyler's Automotive staff was very kind and patient as well as efficient. Their company lived up to every word as to treating their customers like family! I had car troubles near their shop on my commute to work. They got me right in and back on the road in no time. After looking at my car, there wasn't anything they could do as they needed parts, but they were honest and didn't charge me anything. I highly recommend them.

I've been using Tyler's for the better part of a decade over multiple vehicles. I've had the pleasure of using all three locations. Their work is honest and thorough. Twice I've brought in vehicles for regular maintenance and after an inspection, they have sent me away without a bill because they found nothing that needed maintaining. When they do find something, it is taken care of and does not return. I enjoy leaving my vehicles with them.

This is the first time I have ever had my car serviced at Tyler s Automotive and I am thrilled with their service. I had several things done, spark plugs, coolant flush, transmission fluid flush ,battery and of course oil change. They are very friendly and easy to work with. This is our family s new go to automotive shop. Yes I would recommend them to my friends!

Backstory: I tried to do my own brake/rotor job on my Subaru. One of the calipers was frozen, so I was unable to get the new pad in properly. I was in a bit of a time crunch, so I had my car towed to a national chain shop nearby to get the calipers replaced and to finish the job I started. A day and almost a grand later and with no warranty because they used my parts, my car was back in my driveway, ready to roll. However, I quickly noticed a heavy clunking noise coming from my front end when going over bumps. I took it back to the chain shop and was quoted $1900 for a complete steering rack replacement. I wasn t so sure, so I made an appointment with Tyler s Automotive, got my car in and checked out. They found that the noise was due to unlubricated brake calipers. Lube job complete, I drove home along some streets that had been especially noisy and, long story shortish, the noise is gone and I saved $1750 on unnecessary work at a shop with a dubious record. Tyler s came highly recommended and I must concur. The guys there did an excellent and thorough job and found themselves a new customer. I was recommended to Tyler s Automotive by some close friends and I am very glad I listened to them! Not only were they so very nice and very patient with me, they had it fixed in no time! I felt like they were honest and fair! Plus so happy it wasn t the alternator like I thought GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! and he gave me a chocolate bar when i got my car back:) won t go anywhere else now

The good folks at Tyler Automotive met me with integrity and quality in an hour of need. I'd purchased a used car which I was assured "didn't need much work if any". The "pre inspection" that happened "post purchase" due to my lack of savvy showed a significant amount of need for this car to run well over the next several years. Their quote was accurate and their work timely. I feel much better now about this transaction despite the slight "pit" in my stomach for have been taken a bit in my used car purchase experience. I took my van in at 8:00 with a problem. Wasn't exactly sure what was going on but I left it there barely running. I had a call by noon that the van was fixed and ready. I had a vehicle to pick up the van but it was really inconvenient to leave my other vehicle in order to pick up my van so they picked me up and brought me back.I can't say enough good things about these guys. They fixed the problem. Did so extremely quickly (and not a super simple fix). The cost for repairs was reasonable. Especially in the time frame. They are absolutely cheaper than the dealership in town who I WILL NOT use. So overall, they get a very high recommendation from me. I appreciate their service and expertise and willingness to go over and above... Which I greatly appreciate.

Appointment easy to make, work professionally done and on time. Costs were fair and definitely less than my dealer. I did a cost comparison. I took a 2nd car in to have my brakes replaced because my dealer told me they needed replacing. Tyler s Newberg called me and told me they didn t need replacing. They still had 40+% remaining. They could have easily replaced them, charged me and I wouldn t have even known. Well you know who s going to get my business when I need them replaced, TYLERS.

Couldn t have been more pleased with my first experience. First, I submit an inquiry on their website using their live chat feature, and then got a phone call from the owner within 5 minutes to talk about my truck s issues. It gets better. The manager of the Newberg location called me directly and said they would be over to my house to jump my truck and try to get it over to the shop and save me time and a tow bill. Once they did all that they were in constant communication with me about what they did to fix my truck. This is the one time in the auto industry where I felt like I wasn t being taken advantage of. I felt like they understood what my pain points were and delivered above and beyond my expectations. I ll be using Tyler s Automotive going forward and will tell all my friends and family about them. 5+ stars for sure!

I have not had my car worked on here, but I have spent a lot of time with the staff and owners. They have 3 great shops and they truly believe in taking care of you. The owners and thier kids are just good people. I would have no issues having my car serviced at Tyler's Automotive.

They had to remove my dash last july to replace the blend door actuator in my car and did a very professional job there was not a scratch or smudge of dirt or grease anywhere unlike other shops I've been to,I was very happy with the repairs there very nice people and they'll shuttle you if needed, I'm going back for future repairs for sure.

Tyler's is astounding! I took a chance on having my car towed to Tyler's instead of the VW dealer because AAA recommended them. Normally, I'd try to repair my Passat on my own -- but was stuck away from home. Not only did they diagnose and replace my starter in under 24 hours (VW wouldn't have even started the work for 2 days), they also handled some add-on requests I made -- replace temp sensor and oil change. This was all done for exactly the price they quoted me. To top it off, they replaced a tail-light bulb I didn't know was out and did a full diagnostic on my alternator and battery. I was also impressed that Keith at the front desk understood the specifcs of my Passat and obviously had a strong background in all types of vehicles - also great customer service skills. That is rare in a repair shop - usually the front counter will not offer opinions and only vague statements when questions are asked. Additionally, the facility was clean and well organized. Honestly, I think this is the best repair shop experience I've ever had and I'm certain I saved a bunch compared to the VW dealer. We're considering taking our other vehicles here even though it's 3 hours from home in Central Oregon.

I've taken my cars in a few times over the years and they have always been extremely helpful, honest about what's going on with my car and great at keeping me in the loop at every step of the process. I highly recommend their services! They are a great group of people who go above and beyond in their work

I ran over a poorly placed curb in a parking lot about 6 months ago and had an extremely annoying vibration noise coming from the underside of my car ever since. Keith was extremly helpful despite being extremely busy and squeezed me in first thing in the morning. He found the heat sheild had been bent and was rubbing against the muffler causing the horrible vibrations and noise. He fixed it by bending the heat shield back into place within 5 minutes of showing up and didn't charge me anything for his help (I still feel I owe him something). I was initially worried of being gouged by taking the issue to an auto repair service location, but after my wonderful experience with Tyler's Automotive in Newberg, I know they are trustworthy and I will not hesitate to take my car to them in the future.

This place saved my day! One of my work vehicles overheated, took it in, told them I needed it back in 3 hours for an important event, they discovered it was the radiator, and in 2.5 hours I had my vehicle back with a new radiator and thermostat. Plus a chocolate bar! These people never disappoint. HIghly recommend!

My driver side wiper blade would not move. I called Keith (Newberg shop) for an appointment. He suggested it might be a loose nut and that I could bring it by for a very quick fix. It was, I did, and it was fixed in no time. Although the shop could have legitimately charged me for the repair work, he very graciously provided it complimentary. Thank you.

Brought in twice with check engine light on and they said there was nothing they could find wrong with it. Would turn over fine they would say. Both times I got my car back and it has failed the moment I get it home. They didn't charge me which was a relief, but still so frustrating. Don't waste your time...find someone who will fix the problem and not say there isn't one.

My front right tire went flat right by Tyler's Automotive. They put my spare on, filled it with air, and order my new tires. Their prices were very competitive with everyone in town and were very helpful.

Just the best shop ever! The do not over charge, prices is stated upfront after an inspection of the problem, and they even sometimes come in a little under the stated cost! They do fantastic work, too. I would not take my car anywhere else. -Dana

Probably the worst ran business I've ever come across.Went in three weeks before I needed the work done and Keith never takes down appointments.He said sure just come in and we'll take care of you.I call the day before the work is to be done and now it's well will get to it if we can but you might have to leave your car over night.If this is the way you run your shop,I'm surprised you have any customers at all.Thank goodness you have the post office business.I or my family and friends will never come to you for anything.Close the doors and do something else because customer service is not your thing.

There a great shop I got work done to my 67 vw bug to put my bug in Tip-Top shape back on the road I would recommend Tyler's Automotive to anybody I appreciate all the time and effort you guys put into my car I really appreciate it thank you to Trevor Patrick Ryan all the guys you guys did phenomenal
