The folks from Gales towing appear to be more focused on generating additional revenue than providing adequate customer service. We had a vehicle 15' off the side of the road (within the 20' AAA normal extraction limit), Gales from Newberg and McMinnville, refused to pull the car back ro the road. It appeared the driver did not want to get their feet wet. The driver refused to speak to me directly and yelled that I would just need to hold on. He called his dispatcher, who called me to say it would be an estimated $250/hr to pull the car to the road. They wanted more money to get their feet wet.At the end of the day, I had a friend drive 40mins to come help me pull the car back to the road. It took us less than 30mins to get the car back on the road and drive away. We waited longer for Gales to show up, than it took us to get it back on the road.Don't bother calling Gales Towing, if they need to get their feet wet.

Got a truck stuck on a soft shoulder and called Gale's towing to tow it out. Got quoted roughly $350 and a 30 minute response time, but Dave the tow truck driver was given the incorrect location by dispatch and showed up with the wrong vehicle for pulling the truck out about an hour later. After bringing the correct vehicle to pull us out, Dave did a great job and got us out in about 45 minutes but we were charged roughly $750 since the wrong tow truck was brought out the first time.

If we could give 6 stars we would! Coming home from a great weekend camping with our 30ft camp trailer and our truck had some transmission issue which caused us to need a tow. Dave R. with Gale's Towing and Recovery, Inc. Of Newberg came to our rescue!! He was by far THE BEST tow truck driver we have ever met, he actually made getting towed an enjoyable experience and we were happy to have met him. I would highly recommend this company and Dave for any future towing needs. Thanks again Dave!

I LOVE THIS BUSINESS ! I was shopping at Safeway and realized ( after buying groceries ) that I locked my keys in my car ! I have Roadside Assistance and they hooked me up with Gales Towing ... the minute I called Lindsay she took all my anxiety away by asking Dave who was just leaving for a tow if he would mind stopping first to get my car unlocked. She then says he will be there in 5 minutes ! Talk about great service and Dave was one of the nicest guys I've ever met , so polite and knows his stuff and took care of business ... I can't thank you two enough for your awesome service !

Dave Richards was my driver today. He was an hour earlier than expected (A+), extremely knowledgeable (he knew how to get our naughty Tesla to comply), and very easy to work with. I highly recommend this tow company.Service: Car towingService: Car towing

The office was staff was friendly and helpful in scheduling our tow. Our driver, Dave, was nice, quick and extremely professional. He gave us helpful tips and things to watch out for if we ever need another tow!

I have had many bad experiences with tow companies and I was pleasantly surprised when Dave ( a driver from GTR) took the extra time and care to make sure no damage was being done to my property. For the price this was absolutely five star service. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend. Thanks again for the great service!

We broke down at the top of Rex Hill on Hwy 99w the day before thanksgiving, in the rain. When we were given an ETA, it was supposed to be 45 minutes and we were pleased to see the Tow Truck pull up just ahead of us fifteen minutes earlier than we expected. Rodney was very friendly, loaded our Honda and got us home within the hour. We can't state enough how helpful and kind he was - and how much it meant to get towed promptly - on the day before a major holiday. We had to get his card, because if we break down again, we're calling Rodney.

Rescued me from a few pickles (mud in remote locations) with pricing that was far less than I had expected considering the circumstances. They had four guys with two trucks on a hoist that was of extreme risk and we all came out unscathed with a truck right back on the road. Other times it had been a just a little tug. Pleasant drivers making the rounds helping us stay on the road.THANK YOU!

Oh my gosh! The entire experience from the very friendly and knowledgeable lady who answered the phone and helped me with AAA to Alec who helped me get my truck out of a very sticky situation was beyond my expectations! We got my truck out in a very timely manner and the experience, which could have been a disaster, was far less painful than I had thought it might be.This company and its employees are The Best. I would recommend them to anyone.

Cannot compliment this place enough. My wife's car broke down, and we had to catch a flight for a trip we had planned for half a year. Could not be there for the pick up nor drop off of the car. They sent a tow truck out to pick up the car and deliver it to our mechanic all without us there. We would have been in a world of pain had it not been for them. They were trustworthy with our car key and put it in the key drop box at the mechanic. 10 stars!!!

This company absolutely disgusts me. They are thieves and nothing more. If I was stuck in a ditch, and they were already across the street and offered to help for free, I'd tell them to get lost.I'd explain why I'm so mad, but I don't have that much time and the story doesn't really matter. They are typical sleezy tow drivers and licensed thieves.TIP: There are better towing companies in town with a 5 star review. Do a google search for their name.EDIT: In response to the owner, I've already talked to you idiots on the phone, you chose not to resolve the problem, that's why I posted this here. You are thieves.

I have always been pleased with Gale's towing Alec Ott Ernie Omar Rodney have towed my car at some point great service and friendly and very helpful I have used them more than 10 times and will continue to use them

Won't even attempt to give a single parent that does work full-time, and pays their bills, but unfortunately cannot come up with over $500 at a moments notice, a chance to get her vehicle back. I begged, would have paid so much more than its worth. They absolutely couldn't even try to work with me.

Says they are open 24 hours, 7 days a week yet when I called on a Sunday for tow assistance I was told by the representative that they only have drivers Monday-Friday.
