My son took his truck in with a brand new but draining battery. We tried everything we knew to figure out what was draining it. Took it in to Able, and he took the time to look it over and try a few things. He was honest with my son and didn't charge for his time. It was a bad battery. Luckily, it was still under warranty. Fantastic service! We will be back.

Talked with Abel about plans to have two Nissan 4x4 pickups towed there tomorrow and have one engine pulled and set aside for rebuilding and the other engine pulled out and put into the first truck and hook everything up...

Abel is an honest, skilled mechanic. He doesn't overcharge or pressure you into work you don't need done on your car. Conveniently located, he and his auto repair shop are a positive addition to Newberg. I went for an oil change, and will trust him and his team for my car's tune up in the future.

Ladies If you're looking for an honest mechanic fairprice and nose his cars able is the mechanic for you. He's done just about everything to my older Honda with 325,000 Mi on it and I have been more than happy with his work. It is still on the road today because of Abel. He's a busy guy but give him a call and make an appointment or even if you don't have one drop by he's more than willing to help you out in any case.Services: Exhaust, Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes, Brake service & repair, Battery, Oil change

I almost NEVER write reviews. I know looking for a mechanic can be stressful. I tried a few in town but found that many are simply built to generate work orders and ask for unnecessary maintenance.Abel is extremely capable as a mechanic, but EQUALLY as important is that he is NOT going to pressure you to perform ANY work that is not needed. His rates are more than fair. But the experience (trusting the person) is really unique. You will leave his shop feeling like you did business with a really good person.

I went to Abel's because a nearby chain said my rear brakes were on the verge of failing, but they were unable to make the repairs right then. Abel checked them out, found that there was nothing at all wrong with my brakes, and didn't even charge me for the inspection.Service: BrakesService: Brakes
