Chad and his crew have been servicing my vehicles for years including full rebuilds and I would recommend Jacobsen Transmission to anyone that values accurate diagnosis and quality work. Nobody is having a good day when any car problem pops-up but it is such a relief to have a "go to" shop that you trust and will get the issue resolved correctly.Services: Transmission, Auto engine diagnostic

This is the second vehicle i have had Chad work on. From my 09 Traverse that exploded a wave plate and needed complete rebuild. Now my 2014 Ford F150's transmission had become undrivable. I was expecting to hear the F150 needed a complete rebuild. Chad took a look at my truck and said i only needed the electronics and solenoids replaced. This is the first shop i have taken a vehicle to that explained what was wrong with my vehicles so i could understand. Then on both of my vehicles when finished. Chad took the time to show me the hard parts that failed and explained why! while he was in the Ford transmission he also mad a modification to increase longevity and run cooler. Most knowledgeable and friendliest shop i have been to. I will never take my stuff to anyone else thanks again!Service: Transmission

Just got my Valve body replace on my 2012 Subaru with a CVT transmission. Awesome experience with this shop! Chad the owner is very personable, transparent, honest, and wants to really help his customers find the right solution! I had trouble finding someone in the area to do this work on my car and I m glad Jacobsen transmission was there to help! Even got a free hat on my way out the door! I took my truck in about a month ago, thinking the Allison transmission was on its way out, as I was on my way to the coast pulling my rv and the gauges went crazy and put me into limp mode. I dropped the truck off and spoke with Chad. He tried to hookup the scanner, and my truck computer was not allowing him to connect. He referred me to Jerry s Diesel repair, where it turns out my truck had a bad ground from the cab to the frame. He easily could have taken my word and started tearing into the transmission, but he wanted me to get an opinion as to why the computer was not working. I will be back in the future for some mishimoto coolers. I will refer this business when I can! Thanks Jacobsen Transmission!

VERY happy with the service I received from this shop. Chad is reliable, honest and hardworking. Jacobsen Transmission Repair is reasonably priced, knowledgeable mechanics and they are honest! I haven't had any problems at all since my transmission was worked on. I've already recommended them and will continue to do so.

Absolutely fabulous service and speedy repair, As a business owner I need my vehicle fixed quickly for I use it daily, me not knowing anything about my car. Very happy about the service I got from Jacobsen. My truck had shifting issues and check engine lights on, so I called and set up an appointment. The owner Chad was very knowledgeable and friendly. He found the problem immediately. Once the parts that had to be ordered for the repair arrived my vehicle was quickly fixed, and I was back on the road. If you need a transmission repair/upgrade/what-have-you and are within even a lightly reasonable distance of Jacobsen, you should entrust these fine gentlemen with your vehicle. They have forgotten more about all things transmission than any sane person will ever know and they are excellent human beings. Took my Silverado in for dreaded 4l60e issues. Chad was extremely helpful and knowledgeable with steering me in the right direction of what upgrades and repairs to have done to suit my needs and budget..he kept me updated throughout the whole process which only took a couple days. Not only that, they greet you like a human being and don t try to BS you. They did a great a job replacing the transmission on my 2013 ford escape. They were very knowledgeable and very easy to talk too. Once they got all the parts, they had it done in know time and kept me informed through out the whole process. They are very easy to get ahold of and always respond in a timely manner. I had an overall wonderful experience with Jacobson Transmission! They are timely, professional, trustworthy, and, affordable! I couldn't be more pleased. My car runs better then ever! I would highly recommend this shop for any auto repairs. I will continue to take my car here if I should need to in the future. Hands down best experience I've ever had with any auto shop.

If you end up in the position of needing your transmission repaired, fix it up right the first time with Jacobsen Transmission Repair. I bought a truck that had a semi recent transmission rebuild. It was a poorly done job and it didn't last. Thankfully Chad was able to do a super job and get me back on the road in no time at all. Almost two years later and my truck is running better than it ever was before. With a project so big and expensive I needed to know it would be done properly and Chad was just the guy for the job! If you pick Jacobsen to do your work- you can rest easy knowing he will do what it takes for a solid repair and no funny business.

In a world where many mechanics would take advantage of someone. Telling them it would be $$$$$$ in repairs the amazingly nice mechanic took me on a test drive and told me my transmission was fine. I would send every one I know about them.
