Great customer service so far. Got me a appointment to have the transmission in my lexus ls 430 ultra luxury edition rebuilt. To continue down the path toward my million mile goal!!!! 300k miles and counting!!! Will update review once service is completed!!!!! Thank you Aamco for being able to fix stuff when I'm too busy to!!!! This will be my 2nd toyota automatic repaired by you guys!!! The first never died!Got the car in and back out in 2 weeks. Did a entire transmission rebuild in this timeframe!!!!! Definitely recommend this shop. Pricing is what you'd expect for this repair. Expensive but well worth the investment if you have a good running car Update. The car developed a leak within a week of receiving it and we took it back. They were happy to address the issue that happened so shortly after getting it back! They do honor their warranty and they are great to their customers!!!!! These things happen. It sets us back but it's part of life! Thank you for addressing the issue promptlyExcellent customer service!!!!!

Ok, real simple here!!! This place is AMAZING!!!! Don't remember his name, but the person we dealt with every step of the way was the best. He called us at every turn. He went to bat for us with our warranty company, and because of him, we only had to pay the small deductible. Look, HE SAVED US 4 GRAND!!!!! I will be taking my truck back here for all future repairs, period!!! You don't have to deal with that thought of "is this mechanic gonna be shady?", which I know firsthand a lot of people think about. This place is honest and won't try to get you to pay for something that's not needed! Don't know what else to say. I will be going back there!!!

Great service, freandly pei0le Max was great on keeping us informed of the progres of our repairs. They have an in-house transmission specialist.... that is something hard to find. They went through my transfer case and rebuilt my transmission on an 2006 F250 in about a week. Great company, great people who enjoy their work, that is hard to find these days. I will definitely be returning to have my dana 44 rebuilt in my Jeep.. and I don't let just anyone work on Jeep....

My family owns a 1993 Beaver Coach Motor Home. On a recent vacation out of state, the transmission went into limp mode (only 3rd gear to get us down the road). It eventually wouldn t move at all. I called numerous repair mechanics in both Oregon and Northern California, and no one wanted to touch it until I called AAMCO of Medford. They calmly helped us arrange a tow, and they made time and space at their shop to evaluate the problem. From there on out, AAMCO stayed in contact with us every day with updates, expenditures, and finally a prognosis. They went far and above to make sure their prognosis was correct, they worked with their contacts in Medford to test certain parts, and they fixed the transmission issues in record time at a very reasonable price. Their customer service is exemplary, and highly knowledgeable, and I would recommend them to anyone in need of transmission work. Excellent service such as theirs is a rarity, and we feel extremely grateful to have found them.Service: Transmission

Great experience here to repair my transmission in my 2014 Ford Escape. Called several places around Medford with higher prices and longer wait times. (Looking at you, Lithia Motors.) When I first called AAMCO, I spoke with Max who actually took the time to talk me through my options. He explained their process, how AAMCO handles cases like mine and quoted me a reasonable price. Max earned a customer with his friendly demeanor, down-to-earth explanations, and good communication throughout the process. The office and garage were clean, tidy, and organized. Phone calls and service was quick. Max also endured all my questions with patience. I saved time, money, and had peace of mind by choosing AAMCO. What s not to like?

Ours was a unique and long experience getting our 2013 RAM 2500 Hemi back running right. But Max helped by keeping in touch and updating about the status of our truck. Picked up the truck last week and she's running better than she ever did!! 100% plan on using Aamco in the future.

Everyone at this AAMCO has been amazing! We initially took our Subaru Outback in to Subaru to have it inspected and it ended up being misdiagnosed as a faulty valve in the transmission and some leaky gaskets. This was going to cost over $4500 to fix. We decided to take it to AAMCO for a second opinion and Subaru charged us a diagnostic fee of $150. When AAMCO looked at it, they discovered that a rodent had destroyed the wiring that goes to the transmission, causing faulty signals to be sent to the transmission. This ruined the transmission. However, because AAMCO was able to recognize that our transmission issues were caused from a rodent, we were able to run this as a claim through insurance. Our car ended up being totaled due to the damage inflicted on the transmission by the rodent. Although no repairs were done through AAMCO, they did not charge us anything diagnostic fee. I am so grateful for the staff at this AAMCO, without their expert diagnostic skills, we would have wasted a lot of money on a transmission that would not have been salvageable. I would highly recommend AAMCO in Medford! They are very skilled and profession and provide the highest quality of service!Service: Transmission

We had a great experience at AAMCO in Medford. The Center Service Manager, Max Mora, was professional, courteous and explained in detail the problem and made several suggestions as how to alleviate the problem. By the time the part was delivered and replacement made (in less than 2 hours), we were on the road for our 14-hr. drive back to Redondo Beach. Max was kind enough to check in on us 2 hrs. into our drive. Wow!! We made it back to Redondo without a hitch. Thanks to Max and, of course, the awesome mechanics!!

I took my 2016 Nissan in for a routine transmission fluid change and service. The staff was extremely friendly and professional, the service was fast with the price being exactly as quoted. The service personnel even took the time to explain specific details of my transmission and how best to extend its life. I will go back to this shop and highly recommend them.Service: Transmission

Max and everyone at AAMCO were absolutely amazing!I went in for a code issue with the transmission. Left with above excellence in customer service. They all knew what they were doing, knew what they were talking about and kept me informed the whole time.Also/sidenote: For years! I kept hearing a noise by the back tires but kept getting told by others that they didn't hear it or that it was nothing. So I gave up trying to get help or solve the jerking noise.Well, these guys! at AAMCO found it without me saying anything at all! Max called to tell me how bad and potentially damaging the UJOINTS were. Now it's all fixed for a very affordable cost and I feel safer now more then ever before!These guys are here to help, not gouge your pocket book, so I will from now on always take my vehicles to them. Thank you to the Crew and Max at AAMCO transmission

We were having some truck issues driving from Canada and they got us in same day, were extremely friendly and accommodating and went over and above to give us a ride to and from the RV park we stayed at. Reasonably priced and super fast service which we greatly appreciated so we could continue our travels safely. great guys here at AAMCO!! they re really knowledgeable on all things auto, really easy to work with too. they rebuilt my transmission and it has been working well. i would definitely recommend them if you need any transmission related repairs or rebuilds, they can probably help you with other problems too. 10/10. Hello John, the reason for the one star is since I have my transmission rebuilt I've had it back there three more times to repair the same issues over and over again. Unfortunately I pick it up about 3 weeks ago and now I have to bring it back in again for the same issues once again. I'm not sure what's going on but my problems are obviously not getting fixed right. Not to mention I've had to spend a lot of money on rental cars every time I have to bring it in because you guys keep it for months. So if you would like to contact me my phone number is in your computer. Originally I took my truck to Dusty s Transmission in Central Point because I broke my transmission. They quoted me however I wanted a second opinion and so I took my 1996 f150 to them to check it out. Before reviewing anything Max quoted me 900$ less than Dusty s. When other things came up with the repair the held to their word on their price and warranty. My experience with AAMCO on Crater Lake Avenue went very well. Matt was impeccably professional, factual, upfront and honest. I believe there were supply chain and staff issues so my work order got delayed a bit, but that isn't on AAMCO. Matt said it would take about 4 weeks (new transmission, engine mounts, etc.) and that is how long it took. His quote on the price was pretty close as well, and I believe the final bill came under that initial quote.It occurs to me just how important a shop like this is right now with the outrageous cost and even the supply of new or used cars. For decades, it has been cheaper to just trade the old beater in for a new one once the expensive work needs to be done, but now, the situation has perhaps rightly reversed. Keep your old car and get it fixed by professionals who know what they're doing.

This was the second shop that I called. The first business diagnosed my problem over the phone and said I would be out $2200.When I called Aamco, Max was very helpful and listened to my long winded description of what was going on with my Subaru.He recommended that I bring it in for a free inspection. After a very thorough inspection and diagnostic, all I needed was a $225 service. Very pleased. Thank you.Service: Transmission

These guys were fairly nice. When my card got declined for a $4,000 transaction they gave me a ride home. But they never once told me that financing was an option. Then, after driving to Portland the transmission blew out AGAIN. Luckily it was under warrantee, so it was free to have it redone. But it took the Portland AAMCO 2 months to fix it. I would not recommend AAMCO, but their warrantee does add value to the vehicle. Nice enough fellas, but they did a terrible job at fixing my transmission.Service: Transmission

Aamco of Medford should definitely come to mind when you think of transmission repair. A few months ago I purchased my 2014 Jeep Cherokee that unfortunately had a faulty transmission. Once it finally gave I brought it right to these guys based on their great reviews.Max was the main point of contact throughout this unprecedented lengthy process, due to part shortages (NOT Aamcos fault!!).From the moment I dropped my keys off with them I was kept in the loop on anything and everything to do with my vehicle. Unfortunately I am never prepared to dish out such a costly bill. So, being updated regularly with costs is a huge advantage that these guys offer!Lastly, the day I was told my vehicle was done the guys went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met. Just to show they care abort their customers, upon taking delivery of my vehicle I was given a voucher for a free car wash as it collected a fair amount of dust for being out of service for so long.Thanks again guys for such a great job. Took my truck there to get my transmission looked at and was told I needed a new transmission because they said my fluid was low, dirty and the transmission was leaking from the bell housing. No codes on the computer. I then took it to my oil change shop and asked if they could check the transmission level and for leaks. They said the level was good and no leaks from the bell housing. Never going back there. I added an oil cooler and flushed the fluid and have been towing a 6,000lb trailer all over creation for the past month. Truck has 220,000 miles. They just wanted to replace due to milage is my guess.

Most excellent experience! Can't say enough positive words about this AAMCO facility. Pleasant surroundings, great Manager. Go see them. Price/quality of work is beyond words.To find any kind of customer service in this age is always a surprise. I had a transmission situation. Being 69 and on my own. I didn't know what to do, a friend recommended them. I called and talked to Max. By the time I was through talking with Max, my situation was resolved. I learned much from Max, which helped me make tough decisions . I felt like I had drifted off to the heavenly customer service dream. It really was a good experience. :-)

Max at Aamco is definitely amazing! I took my truck in there for service and they found lots of things wrong I didn't know about! They communicated with me all the time in regards to the repairs! My transmission went out while visiting family in Oregon and was blessed to find Max and his team at the Medford shop. Max and his builder went out of their way to get me back on the road in 5 days after a full rebuild. I am deeply grateful to Max and his team for their professionalism and personal care. I sincerely doubt there is a better transmission service in Southern Oregon.

I am from NH and was visiting a friend with my wife when my transmission decided to fall apart on me. I went to AAMCO and spoke with Max (manager) and Kyle (owner) and both went above and beyond with repairing my transmission. They kept me in the loop with each step of rebuilding my transmission and I couldn't have been happier with the service I received. If you want top notch service, go to AAMCO in Medford!

AAMCO is for keeps! Our vehicles are older, AKA Oldies, with some service needs. Max, front counter man gave me the impression that our oldies have value and scheduled a shop evaluation. Medford shop saved us value from what a different repair (GM) shop offered as needed repairs. We have two safer vehicles with Max s sincere listening to our needs and the shop watchful car care services. The 2005 GM car needed the transmission rebuilt, and a 1999 GM needed general services repairs to fix oil leaks, radiator flushed, and serpentine belt replacement and assembly repair. Yes, 5 star great car care service. We have a safer feeling having AAMCO repairing both vehicles who care about people and vehicles for safety. Thanks Max and Car Care Shop in Medford Ken Y.

I was really grateful that my car was fixed in the time that it was promised and the price was right. But the greatest part was that they didn't treat me like I was dumb because I am a woman! My husband had to work and couldn't be there and we hadn't used aamco before. I was happy with their service and they are now our regular stop for all our car maintenance and repairs!! Highly recommend!!

Max and his machanincs were very helpful they preformed a free diagnostic to find out the issue of my 2012 Toyota camry. They helped us find a used transmission and installed it for me at a fair rate due to the difficulty this car is.
