Sincere thanks to Rick, Lisa and Kevin for getting me out of a pickle. I was 150 miles from home and my window would not roll up, so they helped me take the door panel apart and got the motor working to get it back up for the trip home. Sincere thanks to them. Definitely give them a call if you re in jam.

Absolute stellar mechanical service. The best by far around. He s intelligent with a 6th sense about mechanical engineering. We have trusted him for over 30 years and would go nowhere else unless we absolutely had to. Rick is excellent!!!!

After trying to get the ford place in Tillamook to help me with no success, I called around and was recommended to Scovel's Service Center. He was absolutely wonderful to work with. He was accommodating, he told me exactly what he was doing every step of the way, he explained things to me in a way that I could understand, the pricing was fair and reasonable and best of all he actually fixed my problem! Amazing service. Thanks again!

Rick and the shop did a great job getting me back on the road quick after a very unexpected shock shock failure. Not only were they prompt and friendly, but he also did it right and even looked up the install manual and called Icon to ensure the installation was done right. Top notch!Note: he did point out the busted CV boot and a few other items, I declined to have those fixed at this time as I have special parts to use back in Arizona. I know they would have done great work on it though!

Rick and Linda to the rescue! This AAA tow company, conveniently located right in Manzanita, gets all 5 stars. Our truck/camper broke down 5 miles south of our destination on the way to a wedding right around sunset, and I was instantly put at ease as soon as we got ahold of Scovel s. They are communicative, professional, helpful and so darn nice! Could not recommend this company enough.Services: Part finding & extracting, Vehicle wrecking

Great folks. Very kind and helpful. I had a lot of anxiety while being broken down on the highway. Rick, the tow truck driver was so friendly, helpful and quick to get me back on the road. Office staff is the same. Thank you Scovel's.

Driving 4000 miles around the US from Canada and got a flat in Nehelam State Park. Went to Scovel's and was lucky enough to get Andy to change the spare and fix the flat for me. Top-notch service by a top-notch technician! Went the extra mile and did a great job and the price was more than fair. Can't recommend this place highly enough.

Above and beyond. TOP NOTCH towing service! In ONE HOUR FLAT, from the moment this van plunged into the water, this towing service arrived and got the van, the trailer, and the boat out of the water. Amazing

Rick came out and saved the day for me and my family. We were very impressed. We were stranded at the state park on a camping trip and he dropped everything, came to our site and promptly troubleshooted the issue. He even made sure to follow up to make sure we were taken care of. I highly recommend this company. The price was very reasonable as well.

I can't thank Rick enough for helping me out. While driving to Tillamook my van check engine light suddenly went on and I lost all power. Being that it was Friday afternoon and I drive a converted Sprinter van I called numerous local towing and repair shops with no result as they couldn't service or didn't have time. Rick was amazing as he took the time to ask me questions on what happened and thoughtfully was able to diagnose the possible issue on the phone. While he was busy helping many customers already - he went out of his way to come to help me road side. The issue was a hose that disabled - he used a zip tie to reattach it and the van was running again and I was able to continue on my journey. To have someone so friendly do such an act of kindness was so appreciated for this roadside stuck girl. He went above and beyond any customer service I could have expected.

First off, Rick and Linda are AMAZING people. Our cab over truck camper broke down just outside of Rockaway Beach. SCOVELS was the only tow company that was able to help us out on a busy Friday evening. They went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of and even let us stay in the camper at the shop! You simply don t find many people of this caliber these days. I would stop by simply to say hi next time we come through. Google doesn t have enough stars for this business. Rick was a life saver! Our wheel bearings gave way on one of our travel trailer tires. He spent hours with us! He helped us get fix enough and to find a camp site at the state park. He came to our camp site to verify the part number and showed up the next morning and installed it. Exceptional service, attention to detail, and more than fair pricing. AAA sent Scovel's over when my daughter experienced her car's first roadside breakdown. She was hours from home, rural, in an unfamiliar area, on her way on Mothers Day, to bring flowers, a card, and hugs. Scovel's came right over, scooped her car and her up, and got her to her Mama, they saved Mothers Day. The car was taken back to her neighborhood and safely situated, and we're so grateful, we'll ask for them by name ahead. They offer great service, solid business, but they go beyond that and treat the community with a true sense of community, and that means so much in this world.

My truck broke down after having lunch in Nehalem on a Saturday afternoon and I thought I was going to need a tow back to Hillsboro and my weekend get away was over. I found Scovel's on Google Maps just down the road. He came, did a lot of diagnostics, and repaired my truck within the hour. Super reasonable with the invoice. Truly the best car repair experience I have ever had. I was staying in Manzanita at an Airbnb for a weekend getaway when my car started having problems. I asked my host if she had any recommendations, and without hesitation she recommended Scovel's.I brought my car down, he did a quick look over with me standing right there and explained everyone thing he was seeing to make sure I understood what was going on. The repairs were easy - all I needed was a new part that was not currently in his shop. Rather than charging for his labor, he called ahead to a parts store and made sure I could get exactly what I needed.I ran down there, bought the part, replaced it myself, and my car started humming perfectly.I mostly just needed an expert eye rather than a full-on do-everything-for-me service, and Rick delivered exactly that. Within an hour of showing up at his door, I was on my merry way. He bent over backwards to make sure I was well taken care of on my vacation. Standup gentleman right there!

I called Scovel's for towing, and the woman was courteous, kind and professional. She was honest in saying that their truck was en route to another call and wouldn't be able to arrive for 90 minutes. The price that she quoted me was very reasonable. Because I was needing my van moved from the Airbnb spot quickly, (it had issues after arriving) I used another service who promised me a 37 minute arrival. The other company ended up taking about an hour and charging almost 3 times as much. It was only about 10 minutes difference which I wouldn't have paid extra for, but the other company promised something they couldn't do when Scovel's had been honest in saying when they could arrive. I paid dearly and if I ever need a tow close to Tillamook Oregon I'll be using Scovel's Services Center in the future.

We needed a tow from Tillamook to Portland. The driverW was on time, friendly, and seemed happy to help, unbothered by the long distance. Made the situation we were in, a li22ttle more bearable. Thank you!!

Scovel's really saved our day!The kids went from Portland to Cannon Beach for a sightseeing trip. They got stuck at the Ecola State Park in a late, cold winter afternoon as the auto transmission of the car couldn't shift into gears. While trying to help them, we got there at dusk and called the AAA service. With a thought of the worst-case scenario, we were prepared to have the car towed back to Portland for the needed repair. When the driver/technician from Scovel's arrived, he identified the problem on the transmission linkage and found a way to do a temporary (and safe) fix so that we were able to drive the car back home by ourselves. It saved us a ~100-mile towing trip, and the cost associate with it. Can't thank him enough on being really honest, kind, and helpful.

We broke down and needed a tow. Had communication problems with insurance company and location. The driver and dispatcher were friendly and helpful, driver helped us find best place for us. Can't thank them enough for all their help and great attitude!

Rick was sent to us by AAA and was not equipped to tow our 24ft motorhome. Many drivers would have turned around and referred someone else. Rick pulled our brakes apart, made a trip to the parts store, and replaced them in the gravel lot we were stuck in. Awesome service.

Amazing mechanic. Mr. Scoval helped my daughter tow her car that was totaled and do repairs prior to accident. He always acted fast, competently and with integrity. One time my daughter thought her car was running loud. I didn't think it was anything. To be sure she took it to him and he verified it didn't warrant repair. He also worked with her on keeping prices within her budget and my family is grateful to have Scovals in our community.

The owner, Rick, saved us big time. 3 days into our trip down the Oregon coast we blow some axle bearings on our travel trailer. We limped into a day use parking lot about 3 miles from his shop. Rick came out to us and fixed our axle. A++ service. Can't thank him enough.

My old VW Vanagon sees its share of mechanics, and it's not unusual for such visits to happen while on vacation. Thank heavens for AAA and Scovel towing! A broken spring in my brake system was only a minor inconvenience thanks to Scovel's prompt and friendly service. My van was towed to a shop on a Saturday morning, and I was on the road again (enjoying my vacation) before noon. Thank you!
