The price us right compared to other cities in the area. The attendant was super friendly and welcomed us to his little home town. Paying eith cash gets you a better price

Got cut off by multiple cars as I m tring to get a big pickup through and the staff just allowed it and had were not paying attention to cars or others. Very disappointed

The longest time that is spent in Safeway is check out , that is what make it disappointing because Safeway usually has good protein, produce and the long line for self checkout is another downside

I've been to this Safeway several times over the years and have always found the fuel prices to be competitive. I like having the Safeway store handy for shopping, and there is a Starbucks inside the Safeway. Gas station folks are professional and friendly. If you're driving a typical car, SUV, or pickup, there is plenty of space to maneuver around and through the fuel lanes. If, like me, you're in a truck camper or RV, and towing something behind you, the process for getting off the street, to the fuel pumps, parking while in the store, and back out to the street become more challenging. I've never not been able to get fuel, park, and then make my way back to the street, but it does get tighter with a bigger rig, and patience is a handy virtue to have. That said, I'll stop there again for fuel and a coffee simply because this Safeway has everything that I need, it's easy to get to from the two main highways, and fuel prices are competitive, especially if you have a Safeway club card.

Got fuel and thinking I was paying 1 price cuz it was only price i saw pulling in then get down the road and realized I got charged a different price and looked again when pulling back in going slower than first time thinking I missed that other price and didn t see any pulling in the second time . It would be helpful if you maybe move your sign for debit/credit prices out to where people can easily see it when pulling in.. maybe more out in the open or even right next to your big led lighted sign or anywhere where it s not surrounded by landscape . right now it s easily missed because their brushes/branches and whatnot that covers the majority of the sign so it is easily missed. Would have taken a picture but forgot to the second time leaving their

This used to be a top spot to buy fuel in Central Oregon, especially if you have Safeway rewards. However, that has not been the case lately. Their prices are consistently 10 or even 30 cents more than Loves or Towne Pumpe. This, coupled with the difficulty of navigating their maze of one-way and narrow parking lanes, now makes this a pass. On another note, who does a register exchange for a shift change at 5pm or any other peak business times? This not only kills their ability to take cash for 15+ minutes but also renders several attendants useless as they "stand guard." This is a poorly thought out and dated way to run a business. No longer worth the hassle.

Love that I can use my reward points to get cheaper gas. Customer service is pretty good I had a dollar off gas and it's the cheapiest I have seen gas in years

Young people working there were very polite and friendly. Of course it's Oregon so they have to pump your gas. Anytime I'm in Madras I stopped there for gas

Best price in Central Oregon! Fellow that filled our tank was polite and prompt.Our club membership got us 3 cents per gallon off the published price!!!

Not at all happy. This Safeway gas station is a rip off! First, Gas Buddy said the gas was $4.43 but when we arrived, it was one cent more. That s not the bad part. But when the guy was pumping our gas, because here in Oregon you re not allowed to do it yourself I guess, anyway, the gas price on the pump read $4.54! .10 cents more! My husband asked the attendant about the price difference and he just shrugged it off. So they get you to come in with a lower price and then when they pump your gas it will cost you $.10 more! That is totally ridiculous, misleading, false advertising etc Wont buy gas from Safeways any longer!

The fact they they will not post their fuel prices and also flat out refuse to tell you their fuel prices over the phone is incredibly unhelpful when traveling.

The guy filling us up didn't clean the windshield or even ask if he could. Would of been nice since we were traveling from WA. Filled the tank & then took our cash and got 3 other cars started filling their tanks before giving us our change back??? Slow as molasses.

Easily accessible and room to use even with campers, boats and trailers. Always offer to wash my windows and they are dog friendly, having treats. My dog has come to expect pets and snacks. Small town nice.

Perched on high lands - this Safeway outlet is well located in town with some amazing views on all sides. Ample parking around the station and the store outlet is just a few steps away.Found the staff very helpful though the restroom could have been cleaner and better maintained.

One of the cheapest gas in the high desert. Plus you can use your points for a discount if you shop at Safeway. I wouldn't recommend stopping in during spring/ summer busy times like afternoons. But they are working as fast as they can to get to you. Still a good place to fill up.

Cheaper than average gas, slower than average service. Except when they go fully self serve - that was nice. Not sure why mini serve was suspended. Probably wildfire smoke?

Great place for gas but some of the gas attendant's are rude and I Love Safeway just been over charged and not given my gas rewards in the past.

Very friendly staff. I like when they ask if I need my window cleaned when I fill up my tank. (If they have time)-That's a nice service that used to be automatic year's ago.

Always fill up here on my way to the valley. Easy off and easy on access to hwy 26. And if you have any Safeway points you can use them to get up to a $1.00 off on 25 gallons of fuel

You are definitely deserving of a 5 star compliment and then again I might be interested in taking you on a journey involving the use of Google maps and see some of the most beautiful and breath taking views . So you had better bring a camera so you can record the best adventure that anyone has ever provided you with the opportunity to work with me and learning about who I am . First hand .

Wow, great prices & nice staff! Always stop here for gas! Usually a clean bathroom stop too.
