Dad bods and race mods is the place to go!Needed my water pump replaced on my f150 along with a few other things (coolant leak, coolant change, thermostat), in and out same day, the job was clean and quick and the price was very fair.I was informed on any changes and progress.The communication was great!I am More than impressed with the work done!No leaks!

Tyler provides the best service around. He s worked on both of my cars, as well as my family s, and consistently provided 11/10 work for every one. I moved away, and still travel to come to him because he is quick, knowledgeable, and friendly. As someone who doesn t know much about cars, I never worry about his honesty. Best shop in the area! Tyler has repaired an 03 Camry and repaired my 350Z, hasn't run as well in years. Communication before, during and after was spot on. I highly recommend this company to whoever has any car issues, oil changes, engine swaps, etc. I needed an oil change on my 2016 Honda accord. It was way past due and Tyler the owner. Got me in quick! Communication was excellent. Timing was perfect. And business was very perfessonial with a sense of humor. This review is for my cousin, Sandi Landers, car that was worked on in Lyons, OR.They replaced the timing belt, pulleys, water pump, and coolant July 7th on my cousin's 95 Subaru.They had it diagnosed and fixed in 5 hours. My cousin said that the mechanic who worked on the car is experienced with all types of mechanical repairs ranging from diesel to farm equipment to race cars and heavy equipment. He is very efficient and thorough. She was amazed and highly impressed with the whole process. He is reasonably priced and just what Lyons needs. Welcome!

Originally inquired about a starting issue for a 91 civic, as it would start inconsistently and not at all ( I was actually able to jump the car and drive it to the mechanic over 30 mins, it sat for 6 months unable to start ) , I dropped off the car and was assured that the issue was solved when I left , paying over 400$ in repairs (I was told alternator harness repair and a new battery from the part store) to have vehicle not start only 1 hour later after a 15 min drive . The owner did offer to look at the next day free of charge as the problem was not fixed, I was unable to pay for a tow truck out of pocket to get it towed there and the location has moved even further away from my home. The battery has also failed less than 4 months of ownership. Also encourage his friends that he lubes to write fake reviews. Lol. Beware of this guy if you ever want mechanical work as he is a scammer that would not even help to obtain the Warranty that is offered through the parts store for the battery , thankfully O Reillys utilizes part numbers for warranty s and not account numbers. You continued to reach out on a private phone number after I BLOCKED YOU ON FACEBOOK only to talk trash. AVOID AT ALL COST. TERRIBLE BUSINESS AND OWNER.

Tyler has done SO much for me. I first connected with him as he came recommended from a community Facebook page. He s replaced the brakes on my travel trailer and installed stabilizers, not once but twice after my renters broke the first pair. He s done some work on my Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland a few times, most recently, he replaced both rocker arms and prior to that, I think it was something with my exhaust. He beat another mechanic by something like $400. This guy has come to my rescue so many times, I ve absolutely lost count. He s reliable, dependable, efficient and cost effective!! I completely trust him with any and all of my automotive needs and know he ll get me back on the road safely. I strongly recommend him to anyone who needs a trustworthy mechanic. My husbands car sounded like a school bus, we brought it to a local mechanic and he fixed it but the sound never stopped. Brought it to Tyler, ended up needing new rotors AND brakes.. and my kids got to sit in the shop while he got it all fixed. No more squeaking. Needed to get my alternator replaced and everyone I called was closed or couldn't help until I called Tyler. Gave me a quote faster then any other shop could have even type in the vehicle, got me in same day and had my jeep in, fixed and back out in 2 hours like he said while maintaining excellent quality. This young man was the only mechanic I had called , after explaining what was wrong with my Son's car , he came out , said he could fix the car at a fraction of a reg shop or the dealer price and he did it at my home , all the repairs were done in a timely manner , I would put 20 starts If I could , Tyler was very polite and straight forward. Dad Bods and Race Mods is one of the top mobile mechanics in the area. I have used his services many times, for many services on a multiple vehicles for myself and my family. He has helped me with such things as installing a new suspension, installing a new lift kit, repairing the 4x4 in one of my vehicles, transmission services, oil changes, break services and replacements, The installation of a new sound system and a sub woofer in one of my vehicles, complete tune ups, installing a new alternator, and many other things. Tyler has a great attitude, an amazing a work ethic, and is incredibly dependable and reliable. He also makes it incredibly easy on the customer by taking care of all the running around amd searching for the parts and correct fluids. There was even a time where he came to help us while we were out of town and broken down! Tyler was great he was on time communicated very well installed my starter perfectly even though I had gotten the updated part that didn't seem like it was going to fit but it worked out anyway also needed to extend my power wire to the battery which he did perfectly and tucked it away to where itooked very nice and while he was under the hood he also cleaned my other battery wires and termals to my battery to ensure a great connection and a awesome start each time. My vehicles are neglected. Like haven t had an oil change since 2018 : NEGLECTED. I hate going anywhere involving a waiting room or sitting in my non-moving vehicle with 3 active kids (oil change/tires/maintenance in general). So I don t make the time to do these things and I drive my cars into the ground. Never again! Thank you Tyler Swain for bringing your mobile car service Dad Bods and Race Mods up into the hills of Oregon, to our little homestead. Thank you for your patience with my curious kids and for letting my son help on his first oil change. Kid thinks he is all ready to be a mechanic now . Tyler even brought race car toys for my kids.
