A hidden gem on the Oregon CoastThe best hotel I encountered during my 3-month winter trip!I barely ever want to stay longer in a hotel, but here I wish I could have stayed longer! And I say this as a travel writer and hotel critic.Everything was perfect: the cozy and extraordinary clean room, the fantastic variety of breakfast dishes, and the wonderful selection of coffees. Plus the friendly staff.I regret to have to leave after only one night, but will be back for sure and stay at least a week or longer.

Best hotel in Lincoln City! We have been going here for years, it is usually our go-to. The beds are soft and comfy, it is close to the beach, the rooms are always clean, the staff are nice and friendly and even remember us, the pool is large and they even have a sauna! This hotel is one of the best I've ever been to!!Rooms: Great beds, clean and comfy.

Had a wonderful weekend in Lincoln City, the Best Western Wells Landing hotel was great to stay at with my kids. We throughly enjoyed the pool and hottub (the main thing we did with our time other than the beach!) - everyone found something they enjoyed the continental breakfast and we all loved the coffee and cocoa station - and cookies were made and the kids thought that was way cool. Great hotel to stay in with kids. Beds were comfortable, with 6 of us, I was grateful for the size of the family suite except it could use a little bit bigger of a bathroom, the door hit the toilet it was such a tight squeeze, but it worked great for the 6 of us. Service from all of the staff was excellent- very kind and quick to help.Noteworthy details: Indoor pool is heated but still chilly, it is swimmable if you kept moving and the hottub is located well so you watch the kids and warm up your frozen soul.

I have to give the room a 1 star purely because there was mold around the rim of the entirety of the bathroom ceiling and I got sick due to the ac circulating the mold. I did inform the front desk of the mold, but no refund was discussed or issued.The room was clean and comfortable, though there were three televisions and only one remote worked on all three, but that was more odd than anything else.The service was great, the location was great, the noise levels were very low, it was overall a good experience outside of the mold issue.

I love Best Western. Usually terrific service. Just got a new puppy and I have a service Dog. I added them to my booking was told they were not on there and added fees for them. Not sure why I was treated like this. So I may find another Hotel to use instead. I don't like or appreciate being treated like this as we have used this Hotel at least 4 5 times over the spring and summer. Figure it out or loose my business I'm not putting up with this sort of treatment anymore.

I m not sure if the rooms or the service are worse, but I don t advise anyone stay to try to figure that out. My partner & I stayed in early October. Upon checkin, we noticed a musty smell, but it was late, we were tired from our coastal roadtrip & decided to make the best of it. Best Western tried their best to not allow that to happen every chance they got. Our room had 0 hot, or even warm, water. The front desk had no solutions, Well, we re fully booked, we must just not have hot water. As if booking beyond the capacity they could allow to bathe was just a normal, everyday thing. We were eventually moved to another downgraded room, w/o enough beds but w/ the guarantee it would have hot water. It did not. So we were just stuck in a small, uncomfortable room w/ a saggy, uncomfortable bed, no warm water to be able to bathe & a bathroom that appeared to be covered in mold. When I reached out to the hotel manager after our stay, she became hysterical, screaming @ me about how she has all bad reviews removed & will have mine removed as well. She would also consider suing me for posting a bad review. I guess we will see, but I think people need to be warned about what s going on here, especially since management is obviously trying hard to keep it a secret. I love BW, we stay @ them often. This location needs a serious intervention.

We were very happy to see a separate area for gluten-free options at the continental breakfast. This is such a rarity, and we have 2 boys with a gluten allergy. It can be challenging to find good options for safe eating while traveling, so we were thrilled to all be able to enjoy the breakfast included with our room. We also really enjoyed trying a couple of beverages from the hot drink machine in the lobby. That was fun. The beds were a little firm for my preference but we had a nice stay overall. Tall travelers need to watch their heads in the lobby - the ceiling fan and some of the doorways are a potential hazard for anyone over 6'5". Also, if you're tall, the toilets in the room make you feel like you're sitting on the floor - they are very low! Clean room, nice hotel.

We stayed for three days here, and for the most part, it was a great hotel. The rooms were clean, it was quiet, the staff was very helpful, and it was a decent location; if it had been a little closer to the beach, it would have been amazing. The breakfast was good on some days, and decent on the others; we just wish the food quality/variety was a little better or more consistent, but it was a nice perk having a free breakfast. I would definitely stay again, so see you soon! Lincoln City and Newport are beautiful.Food & drinks: This hotel is close to Mo's Restaurant, which is amazing and has not only a great view but great, and for the most part, pretty affordable food. It is also just a couple blocks from a great family-owned restaurant, called J's Fish and Chips (small, yellow building on the East side of 101 in Lincoln City), that has amazing fish and chips, and other fresh seafood.

We always stay at Best Western because they consistently provide excellent service. However, on this occasion, additional charges were added to our bill without any notice. The charge was clarified, but we should have been advised beforehand. Or, at the very least, a description of the charge should have been on the receipt.Rooms: They are pet friendly.The room was very nice. There was even a recliner for my partner to watch the football game.Walkability: Unfortunately, the hotel was located beyond a reasonable walking distance to the cute little town.

Great stay! Really enjoyed our room, little patio/balcony was a plus! Not so up-to-date decor, but still decent. Clean Rooms!Walkability: Located at southern end of town so not very conducive to sight seeming by foot. There is a mini mart and Cafe down the street a block or 2 so that is good....

Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable but beds are sagging do to age. Great breakfast area and breakfast. My one complaint is guests sit in front of main door and smoking cigarettes and marijuana. It is really disgusting to have to walk through that. Also couldn t open my balcony door because smoke would come into my room.Nearby activities: Beach, shopping and casino

Had an excellent time staying here as a family with littles. The pool was delightful, the service was excellent and the breakfast was amazing!!!I also wanted to shout out the man making breakfast and keeping the area clean. He really did an outstanding job of juggling many tasks while being positive with all guest encounters. He kept food fresh and stocked, and the serving/eating areas clean throughout the breakfast hours.

This hotel was really nice. They have a continental breakfast that they switch up a few things every morning. For the most part it was pretty fresh too. They had fresh baked cookies in the afternoon which were yummy. We had an issue with the toilet constantly running and we decided it wasn t worth it to switch rooms but they compensated us with rewards points which was nice. Pool was freezing and probably the same temperature as the ocean. It was really quiet and was in a convenient location even though it s right off the highway. The beds and pillows were pretty comfortable. Our balcony was nice and had a screen door we left open our whole stay. The staff was extremely friendly and cleaned our room well each day.

Me and my husband always stay with Best Western hotels. It's our favorite company to always stay with. This hotel didn't disappoint us, we was greeted by so many kind staff.The only thing that was a little let down in the room was, no hand soap to wash your hands. We had to go buy one. Our room was beautiful we had the room with a jacuzzi tub. It was so nice to just have a full day at the beach. Coming back to relax, we had a lovely breakfast when we stayed. It your looking for an easy hotel on 101 with great amenities and location. I'd highly recommend Landmark Inn.

There's a lot to like about this place:* Everyone we interacted with was kind and professional.* The pool was absolutely perfect for a family swim, nice temperature, clean, etc, and there was a hot tub eith nice jets to work out some of the muscle aches from the drive.* A complimentary hot breakfast comes with your stay, which I always appreciate, but especially now when so many businesses seem to be cutting corners and discontinuing anything beyond minimum expectations.*Our room was quiet.* Nice water pressure in the shower.Some of the things we didn't enjoy as much were mainly things we knew when we made our reservation.* Though the hotel is AT the beach, it is not ON the beach. In other words, you will not be able to see the ocean from your window. (Our balcony had a view of the parking lot. LOL)* I can't remember if any of the other rooms have kitchens for food prep, but ours did not. It had a tiny sink and a tiny refrigerator, and that was about it.* The beds were just okay. Not great, not terrible.

Good place to stay, with clean rooms. Check in was easy and the hotel is well maintained.The mattress in our room was very soft. Almost too soft and we both were a bit stiff in the morning.

I chose Best Western cuz I always know what to expect. This one was actually better than other ones I've stayed in the past. I also chose it because it's one of the hotels that has a free continental breakfast.When you enter the lobby you will be drawn to the nice sitting area. And then behind that is a touchless gourmet coffee machine which we made great use of. So during our 4-day stay we saved a lot of money on coffee because we didn't go out and get any.The Continental breakfast was probably the best kind of nail breakfast that I've had out of any hotel I've ever been to Great selection really well stocked. The dining area kept really clean and many breakfast items breakfast sandwiches eggs bacon sausage chorizo burritos just a great breakfast.I would definitely recommend this hotel just for the breakfast.Rooms: Your typical Best Western room. My complaint with the room would be the bathroom door rubbed against the toilet when opening.Nearby activities: The short walk to the beach a little longer than you would want to do with kids. As it is next to a busy highway.

Clean, comfortable, has a pool and hot breakfast. Price was right and the service provided by employees. It was a win all the way around for our family of six.Lena at the front desk was especially warm, friendly and helpful. My Dad was traveling with us and she helped make his trip even better. Thank you Lena for your hospitality!Will definitely stay here again.

This review is overdue but better late then never, I stayed here with my daughter last year and had the best customer service, my card was acting up and in the process of trying to figure out what was going on with it, they still checked us in anyway. It worked shortly after but just the fact that they weren t just going to turn us away shows that they actually care about there guests. The room was incredible, super clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast options were good too! We will be returning soon!

This is my second stay and it is just as wonderful as the first. The staff is extremely helpful, friendly and service oriented. The rooms are clean, smell good, and are well appointed. The breakfast buffet is well stocked with yummy and healthy choices. There is a swimming pool and hot tub on site. The grounds are beautifully landscaped. The only negative about this preferred hotel is the parking. The lot is large but the spaces are tightly packed with no room for oversize vehicles. Arrive early, park well, and walk to the beach (only 8 minutes by foot). You will enjoy your stay.
