I am 100% satisfied with Vic's and will take my Toyota there again for any service I may need. They were honest, thorough and did excellent work when I took my vehicle in to address a check engine light. Ed handled my service and was OUTSTANDING, taking the time to explain things each step of the way. I'd been to a local dealership previously and they wanted me to spend over $4000 dollars on things my truck didn't actually need and that did not include the repairs that I actually needed, which Vic's performed promptly and without trying to sell me services I didn't need. I highly recommend them.

When my 2004 Ford Focus started sputtering at stops and the check engine light clicked on, I called Vic's in the morning, dropped it off an hour later, and by mid-afternoon, my car was running like new! Over the phone and in-person, everyone at Vic's was helpful, friendly, and respectful. I'll definitely bring my car back for repairs. Thank you for being a trust-worthy auto shop!

I had a great experience today with Vic's auto center. I chose the shop because it's close to my home and I need to have the car checked asap. They were all booked but told me to bring the car in the morning so that they can find some time to look at it. They did diagnose, found and fixed the issue. They also did the oil change. All done in one day with fair price! I'm so impressed and pleased. Will go to this shop in the future!Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

Told him i needed a brake line replaced and he said "I'll take a pass on that." Meanwhile, the website and everything else says they work on "brake pads, brakes, and brake systems". Must be nice to pick and choose who you want as customers.

I've always preferred local auto shops to dealerships and Vic's does not disappoint! They do great work at reasonable prices without padding the bill with unnecessary repairs. They are friendly to work with too!! I've been using them for almost 8 years now, no complaints!

Awesome experience. They took my car in on a last minute situation, with a serious leak, and had it back to me in a couple days, and a good price. Good folks and I WILL go back.

The most friendly, helpful, professional people I've ever dealt with at a repair facility! I'm a 'car moron', but they certainly don't make me feel like one. They take the time to answer all of my questions in detail, and in a dummy version that I can understand. The service they did on my car was top notch, done timely, without the pressure to 'sell' me on additional items needing repair in the future. As long as I own cars, they are going to Vic's for service and repairs.

Saying "Thank You" is totally inadequate for the service Mike and his staff provided Monday afternoon, July 30, 2012. We were ready to leave Lake Oswego, headed over Mt. Hood in a Vanagon loaded with supplies for a funeral/celebration of life, when we experienced lack of power and an unusual exhaust cloud pulling out of a parking lot. Already emotionally stressed to the max we pulled into Vic's Auto Center to ask for a thumbs up or thumbs down on what lay ahead of us. Even though fully booked for the day they quickly and calmly helped us to a solution - no you should not attempt to make the trip in this vehicle, yes you can leave it parked here and we will check and advise, yes we can call for a rental vehicle and get you on your way. They were efficient, professional and very caring while meeting our needs. It was the kind of service every business strives to provide. They did a great job!

Vic's was truly great in being flexible with our needs on a very tight timetable. Through over the moon wonderful customer service they were able to replace a windshield and time our vehicle up within a very small time table. Great establishment and would be happy to return.

The folks at Vicks Lake Oswego are simply amazing! Last year I brought in a toyota truck that I had taken to the dealer for fuel injector problem and was told my engine was shot and would need a replacement at $3500. I didn't trust their diagnosis, and took it to Vic's. The problem was a dirty injector and a broken spark plug wire on another cylinder... Cost me a fraction of what the dealer wanted to get from me... I am a customer of Vic's for life now. You just don't find service and honesty like this nowadays.

I was actually on my way to a different repair shop (with which I didn't really have a relationship, just had spoken to them) when my car totally went out at the drive of Vic's Auto Center. I was in the middle of a meltdown, figuratively and literally as it was a record-high day, and attempting to push my car in to the lot when two of the employees saw me and came running out. They had me get in the car and then they pushed me. They then ushered me in to the waiting room and gave me some cold water. When I finally had myself collected the gal at the desk (sorry, I am really bad at remembering names) was very patient with me as she took my information. I was even offered a ride home, even though I didn't commit to having them do the work on my car. When I returned a couple of days later, my car was ready and the cost was extremely less than I had anticipated! Because I had borrowed a vehicle, not expecting mine to be ready, they even drove my car home for me. I was very, very happy with the work, the cost, and the customer service I received from Vic's Auto and they have definitely won me over -- I highly recommend them!

This place jumpstarted my love of Oregonians! My Civic began making worrisom sounds during my drive up here, which I of course chose to ignore. Well, ignoring it came back to bite me in the butt when it stopped completely and wouldn't turn on. And even worst, I had a job interview to go to! It was probably fate that Vic's was just a few blocks away. I walked in there frazzled as can be, but they managed to calm me down. After they took a look at my car, they explained everything they'd need to do, gave me a price quote, and got to work. By whatever miracle, they finished in time for me to make it to my interview and I ended up paying less than I was quoted.

This is an outstanding shop. Mike and the rest of the team did some great custom work with my truck and saved me a lot of money and hassle in the process. Can't express enough how pleased I am with the service. It is hard to find an honest shop like this!

I am very pleased with Vics and agree - as long as i own cars - they are going to Vics for service. Truthful, knowledgeable, respectful and fair priced. Be going there for about 7 years now, never had a bad experience.

Toyota dealership in Wilsonville told me that the oil pan on my car was cracked and needed to be fixed for $200. Took it into Vic's because I didn't trust the diagnosis, turns out it wasn't cracked at all and just needed the bolts tightened. I refuse to take my car anywhere else now. Thank you Vic's!!

When you go to an auto shop you expect to get ripped off. This is exactly what happens at this place. They took advantage of a local customer who was forced to tow their car here. They knew I didn't have a choice and charged me 3x the amount it should have cost.Avoid!

This fabulous repair shop listened to everything I had to say about what I thought was wrong about the car, and then did not stop listening and fixing until I was fully satisfied. They have a customer for life, and I have extolled their virtues to anyone who asks!

Stay away! They ended up charging me 3X their original quote. Very poor customer service. The car was not ready when promised.
