We've been coming here for almost 10 yrs with all sorts of vehicles. Thor is honest, reliable and genuinely concerned about you as a customer. He's fast, and doesn't create imaginary problems to get more money out of you. I always recommend him to people looking for a mechanic. He's the only mechanic there, which allows him to keep quality and attention to detail at a high level. Be aware he doesn't take payments, but will stick to the quote he's given you as you save money for the repair.

Seriously, the best car mechanic we have ever known! Thor is such an upstanding human and we will not purchase a vehicle unless it is one he will service. He is incredibly trustworthy and does amazing work!

This place was absolutely fantastic! We were only living in Lake Oswego for a year, but had several very positive experiences taking our Honda Odyssey there for general maintenance. He gave good, honest advice when we needed to have a tire fixed and was very reasonable in price for other work. As we prepped to drive our car across the country, he checked it out for us as a favor. While it was very kind of him, I wouldn't want to expect that of him if we still lived here. He has to make a living too! I can't recommend this place enough.

Even though its not convenient from my home to Thor's place I would not take my car to anyone else. I recommended Thor to my sister and now she feels the same. I drive an old car and he has kept it running for a lot of miles. He has always been honest and reliable.

Thor is the most honest auto man you will ever find. He doesn't try and upsell you. It is always fast service. He truly cares about the quality of work he does. I have never been dissatisfied. Always always always top notch service. If I had more stars I'd give them.

Thor's Auto is the BEST! We have taken our vehicles to Thor's for years, and we wouldn't take them to any other mechanic. Somehow, in this day and age of gouging the consumer and preying upon their ignorance, Thor "prevails" as an honest mechanic. He always shoots straight, his prices are fair, and he keeps our autos in tip-top shape. He does pre-buy inspections for used cars, we take our cars to him for oil changes because his rates are VERY reasonable, and he rotates our tires for free. We can't say enough good things about Thor, his honesty and integrity in his field are what keep us coming back, sending our kids and their cars to him, and is why we recommend him to anyone in need of a trustworthy, dependable mechanic. You won't go wrong taking your vehicle to Thor's!

Thor is simply the best. We have been taking our aging, but loved, minivan to him for years. He is amazingly efficient, capable and affordable. Long gone are the days of taking the car in for a simple fix, only to be handed a massive list of things they want to replace for 100's of dollars or more! Thor has my complete trust and has helped us keep our family truckster in long running service, while keeping maintenance costs down.

Thor s Lake Auto Services is old school ,treats everyone with respect, honesty. Very very good rates and excellent service . I totally recommend anyone in the L.O. Area if you need a mechanic whose doesn t rip you off and stands by his words it s Tho s !

Tried calling 4 different times over the course of two days, and nobody bothered to answer. Then I tried walking in the talk to the guy and he wouldn't even look at my car then made up some rule on the spot that he won't work on cars older than 20 years when mine is from 1999. He was very rude from the beginning so I won't be coming back and will not recommended to anyone.
