I broke down on I-5 on a Saturday morning. My insurance covered a tow to a place within ten miles. I live in Salem so I rolled the dice and went with a shop I knew nothing about (Phil s). I crossed my fingers and left my car there. I ended up needing a couple parts including replacement of my head gasket. I was in a tight spot and they could have easily taken advantage of me but didn t. They charged a very fair price. If I lived in the area, this would be my new go to auto shop. Thank you for getting me back on the road!

Phil and his team are fantastic! I own custom made exotic replica vehicles and hotrods that I cannot get anyone else to even work on. Phil completely goes over every car I buy doing safety checks on the important parts to make sure they are reliable and safe to drive. When I need service on them - they provide expert advice and quality of work at very fair prices.

Phil is a lifesaver. He's the kind of mechanic you want fixing your car because he's honest and working in your best interests and probably not his. He works tirelessly to get you back on the road and your car in the best shape it can be, without breaking the bank.

Excellent service. They called me to let me know how my tire check went and kindly let me know I needed an oil change without making me feel pressured. I ended up getting one and saved almost $30 off what I paid at the Jiffy Lube up the street. I've gone to Phil for 13 years. Twice I have tried to find someone a little closer to our house (we only have one care so dropping it off can be hard) and were extremely disappointed. His work has always been friendly, high quality, honest, and very reasonably priced. If there has ever been a follow up issue, he takes care of it in a timely manner and (if it's a result of the work) without charge. He's a great mechanic and I've referred many friends to him. They are all very satisfied as well.

Phil's Auto Clinic is #1 in service and customer care! I stopped at a nearby shop and got a quote yesterday. The other shop tried to add a bunch of additional work, and when I got them to give me a price for only what I needed, for the same service, the quote was still over double what I paid at Phil's today. Phil and team are genuinely committed to doing good work, they do it for a fair price, and they completed my repair in the same day. Thank you!!

Phil's Auto Clinic has been taking care of my vehicle for the past 11 years. They are why my 22-year-old vehicle is still on the road and running well. Phil's does excellent work, they are trustworthy and maintain fair prices.

Dropped off my car because the check engine light was on. They always called me if they were going to do any tests or do anything that might be an additional charge so I really appreciated that. The prices are fair and they provided excellent service. Definitely recommend their services.

Our neighbor referred us to Phil's and we were extremely pleased with their services. We were given a quote for the repairs needed on my car, called to be advised of other recommended repairs based on what they found, and when we went to pick it up, they showed us all the parts they'd replaced. We highly recommend this auto repair shop - honest, affordable and execellent work. Thank you Phil and team!

In late January, my Ford truck broke down due to a bent valve in my 1st cylinder, which is a major issue. I had no experience in fixing an issue like this. To make matters worse, my wife and I were moving to Bend in four days after my truck broke down. Phil personally walked me through the issue and showed me in his shop what my engine and valve looked like.Phil worked around my schedule to get my truck done by the following weekend. He also worked hard to keep the price down as well. I believe if I took my Ford to a dealership I would've paid a lot more and it would have taken longer. I would highly recommend Phil to all my family and friends with car problems.

This place is a joke. I would never recommend this shop. Had my car in for a oil change and to fix a door handle. The day I picked up my car I didn't even make it 1 block before I heard a crazy noise. Got out the car to Realize the shop didnt even put my oil Pan back on it was dragging. Then 2 months later my door handle that I paid for a brand new door handle is now loose and about to break I call them make an appointment show up wait 2 hours for them to tell me they're gonna need to order a part and I'm going to have to pay for it again .

I was looking for a good mechanic as I've been burned a few times out in Vancouver where I live. A friend at work recommended Phil's and I couldn't be happier. I had a 90k mi. service and it came out under their quote. I needed to adjust a squeaking belt as a result of the one they put on about a week later and they fixed it, no charge. Awesome!

Fixed my car. Priced the repairs reasonably. Called me when it was done. All good. But what really stands out is when I called them to check in, the person who answered knew the status of the vehicle immediately. Definitely pros.

Phil does great work. Doesnt BS you, or try and sell anything beyond what exactly you need, and nothing more. Fair pricing and quick turn around. Shows you exactly what hes done to your vehicle after, and fixes any follow up problems (if theyre a result of his work) without issue.

This place takes way too much money and the job isn t done right. I took my Audi A4 and told me the wrong issue. And charged me a lot. If you really want to get your car fixed this is not the place. They just want to make money and don t care at all. Not WORTH IT!!!

I was a referral by a friend to Phil's, and have since referred many others. He is an excellent, honest, and skilled mechanic! He really looks to keep valued customers and treat them as friends. Customer for life! Best mechanic ever!

Great service, communication and integrity. Came in under quoted and yet they went the extra mile to find the right fix (for a nagging windshield wiper issue). Will be returning here for sure. Kudos to Phil and the team.

Horrible service, Phil fed us a steady line of BS while he stretched a four day job out to nearly five weeks, only to discover a handfull of unfixed problems when I finally got my car back. Very disappointed, would not recommend.

An honest crew. He doesn't lie to you, gives it to you straight and helps you with your every need and if he can't, he gives you the best advice. A wonderful place to go. Make sure to call in advance for an appointment.
