This is a great neighborhood old fashioned service station. The employees are great. I get gas here regularly and we take our cars for service too. I had a nail in my tire and they took care of it within 10 minutes. They charged way too low so I gave them more. We get our DEQ2 tests here too. The prices are very competitive. Finally, they stayed open during the power outages last month with a generator do they could serve all of us. Awesome.

Excellent Service! A previous shop had installed cheap parts on my car causing multiple engine error codes. My new Grimms mechanic, Timmy, was able to diagnose the problems to fix my car the correct way. Using the correct parts. Very trustworthy and everyone there is friendly. I will be going here from now on.

I made an appointment to get my headlamp fixed. As I drove up the service guy said, "you here for the headlamp?" and guided me where to park. Fixed it in less than 10 minutes. The price was reasonable.

This place was great. Super friendly staff! I took my truck in for an oil leak, they determined the leak location and that it would be covered by warranty and pointed me to the dealership. No charge for assessment, as they wouldn t be doing the work. I love places with integrity like this. Most places would have charged to even look at my truck. My go to shop in Portland! Have taken great care of all our vehicles over the years. Reputable, thorough, and great service for the price. Nothing fancy, but it's clear they know their stuff, and I breathe easier taking them for everything on our cars (oil changes up to big repairs). NEVER try to gouge me for work that doesn't need to be done which is a wonderful relief. Worth taking your car to them from everything to oil change up to bigger jobs. Thanks so much for always taking great care of us!

Very helpful. Have not actually had to use their service but they share good information. I hope I don't need them but I will feel very comfortable taking my vehicle there if I do need service

Won't use again, did not provide service I was quoted and could care less when I brought it up.Had a detailed quote for an oil change using synthetic over the phone. Picked it up and they used a synthetic-blend saying "I didn't see a quote" rather curtly and annoyed when I asked about it.Bummer.Service: Oil change

My family has been using Grimm's for a LONG time. Honest and excellent mechanics. Very hard to find such a dependable mechanic. But these guys are worth it. Let them know you have been referred, I am sure you will be treated wonderfully. Everyone calls me by name, and I know the people working on my cars.

A family business smaller than the large motor car maintenance companies but makes up for it with personality, knowledge, one on one care, and no run arounds. Fair and honest pricing. Great people!

I got a flat on my way home yesterday. They were just about to close and Mark and crew did a road side call to fix it despite the snow and darkness looming. My lame scissor jack was not up to the task and they made quick work of getting my truck back up and operational. This shop rocks and I'm a customer for life!

I visited Grimm's because my vehicle needed attention, I had the WORST experience EVER.I guess because I'm a young I must be stupid. They were condescending and pretty downright rude! NEVER again!I hesitantly went across the street because I really needed help and WOW! What a terrific experience!

They are always efficient, and will do everything to help you out - even a loaner car while your is in the shop. Most importantly, they are honest and don't recommend work that does not need to be done. The best of the best!!!

Not super stoked to see both employees today (2pm 1/10/2021) inside the shop not wearing face coverings/masks. I know they're just high school kids, but they need to wear masks for everyone's safety.

The owner backed into my car (which was not even moving at the time, mind you) and claimed I was at fault. Got my whole family dropped from our insurance. Horrible person
