Bill is always up front with costs and time expectations. He also keeps track of what they have done and when on my car so I m not having to dig through my records. He s a joy to work with and I appreciate them taking such great care of my car. My car was actually owned by a neighbor previously who took it there for service when they purchased it years before selling it to me. Gives me peace of mind driving an older car to have an honest resource like these guys!

Bill's knowledge and professionalism are unmatched. I really appreciated his detailed explanations regarding the questions I had about my car. He took the time to fully vet my vehicle and I never felt rushed. He's a great resource to have and he's fair.

Came in for a service and these guys went above and beyond. Haven t gotten to vacuum out my car because I ve been so busy, and these guys vacuumed my car! You can also tell they really care about you and let me know of some other things that needed to be done besides my service which is amazing because my car has alot of mileage and I m trying to keep in great shape!! Appreciate it so much I will definitely be returning and recommending to other people! Thank you guys!!

Really happy with the service we get from Bill for my son s older car (2008 Acura TL) that needed some repairs. His pricing seems fair and he is knowledgeable. I definitely recommend him!

There really are good people still in this world. I am so happy to have found them at this gem of a mechanic s shop. Excellent quality and careful and considerate attention given in the automobile services they provide. They are honest and kind and they have me for life. Want PURE fuel without ethanol? This is your place. Friendly and fast service and my Touareg loves the pure and clear fuel. Take care of your car, and it will take care of you.3/7/23 Update:My sister and her husband have been getting service done on their Audi A4 here for a while and recommended Bill for service as well. I took my 2006 A3 in for maintenance and full transmission service. Bill is very honest and fair. It s nice to know there are still people that take pride in their work and are honest.

I've been a customer since this was Mark's Service, when I moved to LO in 2004. Everything about the place is excellent--gas, mechanical work, great owners and employees. When people get nostalgic about old-fashioned gas stations that had real mechanics who really cared about their customers, this is what they are thinking of. I live in Portland, now, but I still drive to Bill's for any service on my car.

I went over to Whole Foods at Lake Oswego and I need gas so I stopped in Bill's service. This is such a beautiful nostalgic gas station. It's kind of gas station I used to working when I was a kid. If you go in there they do all the service for you to check your oil clean your tires they do whatever you want all you have to do is ask him but ordinarily what they really do all kidding aside. They wash your windshield pump your gas and treat you like you're King of the Road you would swear it was 1966 once again.

I have been taking my cars to Bill's for years and just got around to writing a review. Bill's is unfailing honest, very quick, never upsells and has the best rates for automotive services I've seen in the Portland Metro Area. I cannot recommend this shop strongly enough.

Bill and team have been great! We have had our Chevy suburban worked on a couple times for a few things and they have done great work and have been very transparent on what the truck needed. Also, Bill is the only mechanic I've had in a while that has actually told me I didn't need to do something that I thought was needed at the time. Very honest and stands behind their work!!

I am so lucky that this place was the first place I found for work on my car!! Yesterday my car broke down in the middle of the road, completely shut off, I was so stressed out and had no idea what to do. Calling a shop was all that I could think of. Bills was the closest place when I searched for a shop. I call, he answered pretty promptly thankfully because I was losing it. He told me to park it in a safe place and so I did. The next morning he came and assessed the car in its sad state and had it towed back to his shop. He made the situation much less stressful and was obviously confident in the situation, which only made things better and allowed me to relax and stop freaking out. Within 30 minutes he knew what was wrong with my car and told me he could have it done by the next day assuming no further issues with the car. I was pretty happy to hear one day and not a week or never!! Just a few hours later I got a call and was really excited to hear him say it would actually only take him until 5pm today! Does that ever happen?? I definitely recommend this shop.

My husband loves this gas station due to the non ethanol premium fuel offered. It's pricey however supposedly it increases fuel economy? Friendly service. We'll be back.

Two days before bringing my car to Bill's Service, I had another shop in town look at it. They took my information said they would call when they found the part I needed. They never called me back. At the end of day one, I called and the guy said "let me check my email...hmm..no answer. I'll call tomorrow." On day two, I called early in the afternoon (7 hours after they opened) and the same guy said "let me check my email...yeah...the dealer says you need a $250 part." I'm no mechanic but I had watched some Youtube videos (I know, just bear with me) that showed how to fix what appeared to be the same problem with a $25 part. So I called Bill's Service. They were busy but they found a spot for me to bring in the car. This was still day two. On day three, they called me in the early afternoon and told me the car was ready and the bill was under $200...$25 for the part and the rest for (a very reasonable amount of) labor. If these guys say they can fix your car, I would believe them. Fantastic, friendly service and a job well done.

Bill's is a great old style gas station complete with Old World Service. I have a 1984 decommissioned national service Suburban that he kept alive for many years. He knows what he's doing he is honest and won't rip you off. I I loved to supporting that business when I lived there

I had a flat tire and was parked in the Rite Aid parking lot. On a whim, I walked over to Bill's to see if they were able to help me get my spare on. Bill was available and quickly helped get me on my way. Very professional and helpful 5 star service. I'll be a return customer. Thanks, Bill.

I came to see what my check engine light was about. Bill quickly found the problem (faulty intake manifold) and told me there was a TSB out for it, and that the dealership may fix it for free. Sure enough, the dealership told me to come right in. Saved me hundreds of dollars!I've been back a few times since then for an oil change or to replace a headlight. Always great service.

One of the few gas stations in the area offering ethanol-free 92. Absolute must for preventing premature engine wear especially with high performance engines.

Very knowledgeable and kind. Bill replaced my turbo along with rear wheel bearings and saved me quite a bit of $$$. Highly recommend to anyone in the area!

Expert service, great attitude. They fit us in for a quick emergency AC charge prior to vacation at the end of their day. It really helped us out in a bind where every other shop said "tough luck." It's nice to find a gem like this in LO. We'll be back.

Hard to beat this place, fair price, good service, ethanol free super, farm eggs, and a mechanic. Got some cool peacock feathers from their birds earlier in the year.

The perfect fix EVERY TIME! Bill takes the time to find exactly what's wrong and gets it fixed. He even referred me out to a place that could saved me almost $700 on the work needed. Um... Who does that? Bill does.

This is the best service you could ask for. Specializes in all vehicles and has a great knowledge with European cars. I won't be bringing my vehicles anywhere else.
