Very clean and welcoming. Breakfast had lots of variety. The pool had a peculiar viscosity to it, but was refreshing, so was the hot tub. Enjoying having access to a workout facility.Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Great place to overnight when visiting your kids who are college students.

First off I want to say the guy in The breakfast room was amazing. he helped me and my family out so much. But only reason why he helped us out so much because the lady at the front desk was no were to be found. Once she was found and come to help me she was sweating profusely and having strange moments with her arm's and was talking really fast. The reason I need help was because our toilet started to overflowing and went everywhere. When I asked for help the front desk lady told me I had to wait for maintenance. Then the guy in the breakfast room said he would help us out he came up and helped us out I really appreciated it. But I am not pleased with the desk staff something needs to be done with that rude lady at the desk I think she my on something why else would she be gone from the desk and then come back sweating profusely and having weird movements with her arm's or she could of been having to much with someone else behind the closed doorsRooms: The room was amazing and clean until the toilet overflowed that isSafety: I did not feel safe with me and my kids around some of the staff mainly the front desk Lady I really do think she was on somethingFood & drinks: The food was amazing and the staff was amazing he really went above and beyond his work duties

You do not get what you pay for.Don t stay in room 121, it is adjacent to a mechanical room that vibrates the wall at the head of the bed. There is a picture on the wall (not removable) that lightly rattles all night long. If you don t have earplugs, it s VERY annoying and caused me a poor nights sleep. At 2AM, I d finally had enough and gently lifted the edge of the frame from wall and wadded up some Kleenex to stuff behind it.I let management know at check out and they gave me a $20 discount. For the price of the room ($190) I think that s rather ridiculous compensation for a poor nights sleep. I ll go with the Super 8 or Sandman hotels right next door the next time I m in the area.

Potential guests should beware that many of the photos featured in this Google hotel listing are fraudulent and not of this property. I felt catfished when I checked in and I showed the Google listing photos to the front desk agent who confirmed that the photos of the updated rooms and outdoor pool are NOT of this property. I have reported the fraudulent photos to Google, but they remain live on this listing. To be more specific, the photos showing a modernized room with blue bedding and rugs, with contemporary lighting are NOT of this hotel property. The photos of the outdoor pool are NOT of this hotel property. The pool is indoors and has a filter that runs so loud that you cannot hear the person next to you. The window sills in the pool area are caked in dust and flies. The guest room was dark, dated and motel-quality at best with a musty smell to the room, definitely not what I expected for a Best Western in 2023.

i was peacefully watching In the Heat of the Night with my amigo Tosti when a ratchet debbie starting thorwing dairy queen at my window. Totsi has erected from his short Zizz from all this ruckus. I had walked to the window to see the debbie with 4 blizzards from dairy queen. as a thoughtful apoligy she offered to sing me strange fruit, i kindly accepter it and it was amazing. then Joe smith came to my door and told me i needed to stop getting Smoke cattered to the hotel. Mr Totsi and Red Stripe did not enjoy this.

A very clean and well equipped hotel. Quiet and affordable hotel with friendly and helpful staff ready to make your stay as comfortable as possible. With a pool and hot tub you can sit back and relax and shed the stress of the day. The fitness room has an elliptical machine, a bicycle, treadmill and weight training machine. Rooms have coffee machines and refrigerators.

For being one of the most expensive hotels in La grande it wasn t so great. The room was clean but I was sad that the options on the tv for Netflix and Amazon weren t available. And sadly it was one of the worst breakfasts I ve had at a best western. Bacon was super greasy, eggs weren t great and the gravy was cold. The gentleman that was at the desk was super nice though.

The Best Western in LA Grande, OR, is your average hotel. Nothing fancy. The rooms were decent with a small fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The pool is indoors and pretty small. The continental free breakfast was the worst part here. It was pretty bad, unfortunately. The staff were all friendly and it was pretty centrally located to things that were in walking distance.

I don't think I've ever paid so much for the privilege of staying in a hotel that should at best be advertised as a motel. We picked this hotel because of a great stay at a BW in pendleton the previous year. Called the hotel for the reservation was told they could accommodate us. Checked in. Front desk gal was great but uninformed and no help. Room and bathroom were dirty, refrigerator full of food, couch and bed covers were dingy/looked like it hadn't been cleaned. Suite was a joke- extra charge for tiny room with love seat that didn't fold out. Tub didn't drain and was stained. Definitely not meeting the standards for a Best Western. Very disappointed. Over priced and double on weekends.

This place is run down and the beds are badly in need of replacing. We looked at two different rooms and quickly knew we couldn't stay there. The office lady was nice and did her job but the management and owners of this hotel needs to spend some money to improve the facility. If you are smart stay someplace else if you can find it. Sadly all hotels in this area are dumps.

The rooms were cleaner than most 3 and 4 star hotels but i had to rate down the tub. It was repaired several times and they didn't bother to paint it. Besides the cosmetics the tub was a safety hassard just waiting to happen. The slippery, smooth, & uneven surface that gives as your weight is applied due to the repairs makes it ideal conditions to cause a fall. The maid did replenish the towels and coffee everyday but we were running late one of the days and left the bed. The maid didnt bother to make it for us. Not that big of deal but a first for me compaired to any other hotel. The laundry room has one washer and dryer, is clean and only a $1.00 each. The breakfast was adequate. The maid will not get my normal $25 to $40 when i stay more than one night. I would give this hotel one more try to see if we still had issues or not.

Located confidently off the freeway tucked back so it's quiet. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms was clean, well stocked, and comfortable. Pool and hot tub were nice. Breakfast had several option. The attendant wasn't very attentive and several things were empty. She walked in a few minutes after 9 and said it was too late to refill anything because they were closed even though she had not been in the room in over 20 minutes. Her attitude was very poor and several of the guests besides myself didn't get a good experience.

We had previously stayed a night back in February, with two adults and a child. We rented a king suite. Excellent experience!Today, when attempting to make the same reservation, I was greeted by Melissa over the phone. I was immediately reminded that only 2 people may stay in a king suite and that more than two people are not allowed in a king suite; as if I was attempting to circumvent rules?I kindly asked about our previous reservation after being asked to research the exact date, she said she could not pull up the reservation any other way, so I called back with the date. Her answer was that "someone must have broken the rules when they checked you in" again, in a way the implied I did something wrong, yet again.I quicky reminded Melissa of her poor customer service and that I would like go still go ahead and book a room for tonight.Melissa said that I am a "local" and they don't rent to "locals".I will be following up with the hotels corporate contacts. Thanks for ruining a great experience, Melissa!

Room was directly above the check in. Heard the door open and close all night. Heard the radio that was playing in the front waiting area ALL NIGHT LONG. Shower head was broken and sprayed everywhere on each setting. TV was so dim, even after changing the settings, you couldn't see the picture. Only reason I stayed there and didn't leave was because there didn't look to be any better options. $185 for this room is quite ridiculous. Only thing this hotel did have was close parking so I could see my vehicle and a clean room.

Worst hotel experience I ve ever had. Insulting really.DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR HEALTH.Plant growing out of the wall (likely mold inside walls), fruit loops on the floor, stains on bedding, shower head sprayed water everywhere, fridge either warm or freezes. This was just the stuff we could see. Based on actual foliage growing in our room was too afraid to try breakfast. Paid $500 for two nights.Oh! But I ll relax. They gave me 1200 points /$5 off my next stay.Don t expect to get help from management (or corporate as this place is independently owned.) Customer service was a total joke. Appears others have experienced this too. If I didn t know any better I think the owners enjoy catfishing and price gouging for funsies. After more research sounds like there are cheaper places to stay that provide better experiences and cleaner rooms right across the street.

I d like to add to my prior review. I talked to the manager before we left this morning. She acknowledged that the Internet wasn t working yesterday and refunded $25 of our room fee, which I thought was quite generous. In reply to the owner s response to my review, we were in rm 127 and I believe the touch screen for that microwave isn t working properly. In general we like BWs, there are some great ones we ve stayed in. This one though is not among the best.

The room is clean and well kept. We arrived at around 3:50pm, checked in, went up to our room to find the room not finished, bedding piled everywhere. We made our way back down to the office, where we encountered a desk clerk (thin, 40ish bad attitude). I told him our room wasn t clean. He said. It is clean, the bed just isn t made yet, and there is nothing I can do because we are full. That s why when you make your reservation, they tell you that check in time is 4. I looked at my phone, and it was 3:58. I told him that I had walked in 10 minutes ago and asked if they had a room (different, very sweet clerk), and that I was not told check in time was 4. I was given keys and sent to my room and found it in disarray. Again he shrugged and said that he could tell them to make our room up next. At that point we just sighed, asked where the closest pub was, and he gave us a very disjointed answer. The kicker was, this guy was being a completely rude, and was working the front desk with a giant booger hanging from his nose. I didn t say a thing.

Pretty good for the price. Rooms were clean, parking was great and easily accessible even though the hotel was full, the big breakfast selection was great, pool and hot tub were nice. The walls were a little bit thin and the doors probably need replaced because they easily slam and at an awkward angle so they're noisy. Also the pool needed a little cleaning up (just a few hairs and bugs) and pool towels restocked. Other than that we enjoyed the stay.

I was lucky enough to get to stay there for 2 weeks. My work took me there. The staff was very friendly the whole time that I was there. The room was very clean except for a couple of things. My top cover had some makeup on it. But I didn't use that anyway. At the bottom of the mirror was a thing of tape and in the shower there was a wrapper on top of the tile. Not anything big. The rest of the room was great. I would recommend a better shower head. My stay there was great and I will be going back. I was very impressed with the staff and for how nice they were every day.

The hotel is a 10-15-minute drive to the airport and is located right in town. There are also many restaurants within walking distance. It s one of the nicer hotels in town but also costs more. The rooms are a bit nicer and the hotel has more amenities. The free hot breakfast was great as well. The staff was kind and got us checked in quickly. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean as well with a shower-tub comboOther Amenities:- Free WiFi- Indoor pool and spa- Mini fridge and microwave- Fitness room- Laundry room- Some rooms have a pull out couch that is separated by a door.- Full breakfast (Eggs, bacon, hash browns, cereals and pancakes)The hotel had a mask policy in place while in the hotel but could be removed while eating and drinking. All the the amenities were open during my stay.

Overall, I was very pleased with my stay at this Best Western. My room was clean and very spacious, and I appreciated that it felt like a safer area since I was traveling by myself this time around. The staff was friendly and the amenities adequate. It was a little pricier than some of the other hotels/motels, but I felt it was fair enough given the cleanliness and upkeep of the building and rooms. I would have no issues staying here again.

My dated room was clean and comfortable with a good bed.Wasn't impressed with thier customer service regarding reservations. Booked on the BW app then realized I needed another room. Went back on the app 5 minutes later and the rate was $43 cheaper. Called the customer service to see if they could adjust my first rate. They said there was nothing they could do and to call the property. Called the property and they said they wouldn't.A stark reminder as why I now only use BW as a last resort. No accountability and always an excuse.Side note. The lady that checked me in when I got to the property was great.

Came in from out of town for a wedding with a reservation for two rooms. My fianc and I in one room, our parents in another. Two total. We checked out. All was well. Until we got a third charge for a THIRD room. Called the hotel about it and they said it was just a pending charge for the rooms and it would go away in a couple days. Okay. But then the money did come out of our account so we called them back and now they say I signed a document and checked into a third room. I never signed anything. My parents signed for the two rooms we had. After informing them that there was a mistake, they changed their story and are saying I made a third reservation at 12:41 am and never showed so I was responsible for paying for the room. They then proceeded to hang up on us, refuse to speak to us, they sent us an email with the F word in it and said you made three reservations. They also will NOT provide us any documentation of this third room. We have nothing. No confirmations. No receipts. It is a clerical error that they are refusing to fix. I called corporate and they only show a record of two rooms under my account. We started a claim but I highly highly encourage everyone to steer clear of this hotel. They are extremely unprofessional and have ruined Best Westerns for us. And we are gold card members who consistently stay in their hotels exclusively. I have never experienced this level of poor costumer service before. 0/10 recommend this hotel.
