This company gets an A+ in my book! From the moment I called until the fix was completed was a positive experience. I live in Washington and had to get this repaired for my elderly parents. Heidi took my call and was able to get Shane out quickly. This is the 2nd time they ve been to my parents for separate instances. I will absolutely use these guys again if needed. If you are looking for an honest, caring company you can trust, look no further.

We bought a brand-new trailer, and from day one we've had an electrical and water heater problems. At first, it worked great then intermittently, it would short from time to time. From the radio to the bathroom light, until later the fuses would perpetually blow. From month to month. We've had 4 technicians at different times come serviced. Only to hear the same thing, "You may have to have your walls cut out and have your wiring redone. This should be four to five thousand dollars or more." Not one technician was persistent enough to diagnose what Shane did persistently until he found the problems and resolved EVERY ISSUE.From the moment Shane arrived this morning (every other technician arrived late. Shane was here half hour early 7:30 a.m. His appointment was between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.), he listened to all that we had to say. Then he immediately began an assessment from the fuses to the lights to the radio to the TV and traced a short, circuited wire in the underbelly of the harness. He by passed it and within an hour and a half had it all working. He then went to the water heater and diagnosed it. The chipboard was bad, and he replaced it (we had had the entire water heater replaced twice by the other technicians; that not being the issue). Then he went to work on our awning motor, ordered a new one and a new fabric and listened to couple other issues which was all completed in less than 3 hours. His service was impeccable, and he endeavored to find every fault repaired before he was finished.We are so grateful to have a technician that is so articulate, and professional to see his customers completely satisfied. We highly recommend Shane from Shafer Mobile RV Service & Repair with 5 stars out of 5. Only those who have had unresolved issue repetitively can appreciate this young man and his work ethics. Our trailer is working better than when brand new, and we are so blessed to have met Shane. Furnace Repair.Today, I had the pleasure of having my RV furnace repaired by Shane from Shafer RV. From the very beginning yesterday, when I spoke to Rhonda, I received nothing less than excellent service by very caring people. Rhonda helped setup the appointment and was very efficient in her communication. I got to klamath and my Murphy bed was stuck and would not come down. I talked to Shane and even though he was very busy he came by the next morning at 7 am to take a look. He quickly found the problem quickly and made the repair. Tonight I will have a bed to sleep in. I fully recommend using Shafer mobile rv service if you have a problem! Ron

We had quite a few problems with our RV, Shane, Lee &. Ronda were so helpful. They made sure they fixed everything from our Hydraulics so we can enjoy more space in the living room & Bedroom. They fixed our starter & wiring harness. They went above and beyond any service imaginable. They gave JOY to us and we can never thank them enough!! They worked with us on a great number of issues . Shane came to our home on quick notice to fix our electric tongue jack for our rv. He gave terrific service and exceptional tips to prevent mishaps. We liked him so much, he stopped in to winterize for us! Wonderful service, professional, and honest!!

First and and foremost these people know customer service. So many other companies in many business sectors could take a lesson. And Shane absolutely knows his stuff, so it's not just fluff. There is actual substance as well.When I told a person that I work with that he was doing the work, they said, "That guy is an absolute magician. When it comes to RV's he's briliant."To continue my praise...Like many other reviews say, Shane and his team are absolutely amazing. From the first phone call when I spoke with Lee, then Rhonda, and finally Shane working on the unit, we were treated with amazing customer service, the communication was terrific. and repair work was completed well above all our expectations.As for what he did...Unfortunately for us an electric motor on the slide of our brand new unit failed. The local dealer in Klamath Falls was no help. Shane showed up on the same day diagnosed the issue. He ordered the required parts and came back and completed the repair. While doing the repair on the original issue he found another issue with the motor on the opposite side which would gave caused the motor to fail, and ultimately leave our slide stuck in place. He took the time to time fix the issue and clean up the problems from the manufacturing process.I hate to think what could have happened had Shane not found the secondary issue. We like to camp in remote areas, had Shane not found the issue we could have been stranded miles from civilization. That's no exaggeration either. I can't stress enough that his diligence helps to ensure we can safely make it home from our excursions. Thank you so much Shane!!!!Services: Installation, Electrical

I called and left a message on Sunday morning expecting to hear back on Monday. Shane called me back a short time later and thought he could fix my hot water heater problem fairly easy. He had a full work week so offered to come out later that day. He was great to work with, reasonably priced and very knowledgeable. The WORST experience I have EVER had doing business with ANY business in my life. Shane is a good guy and does know his stuff, but if you aren't dealing with him directly throughout, you are in for a NIGHTMARE and you won't be dealing with him, he is never available, you will be dealing with a bunch of morons. My NIGHTMARE would take 10 pages to layout here, lets just say it was screwed and costed me a fortune and months of anguish. I finally had to take a different path, they lost my circuit board for my A/C / furnace which ended up costing me even more$$. I wish I could leave a better review , but that wouldn't be fair to others. I wish Shane the best, however I am glad to be washing my hands with Shafer RV. They don't deserve even one star, more like negative 10 stars.

We can t sing enough praises for the folks at Shafer s Mobile RV repair. Rhonda (office manager/customer service tech) was helpful, friendly & fully available whenever we called. Shane (the owner) ordered the exact water heater we needed & came out & installed it. He s knowledgeable & professional & honest to a fault. We had an electrical problem in our motorhome with multiple devices not working. I spent several days trying to track down the problem and finally gave up. I called Shafer Mobile RV Service & Repair and got an appointment quickly accommodating my schedule. The technician, Shane arrived on time and after checking things out found the problem in a plug of a massive wire loom which was hidden away deep in a wall. It appears that it was a manufacturing error when the coach was built. I would have never found this myself. I am thankful to find a company I can trust to service my RV. I wouldn t hesitate to use this business again in the future. It s the very best I ve found so far.Service: Electrical repair

I highly recommend Shane for all your RV repairs. He was early, knows what he's doing, and got the jobs done in a timely manner. He is also very reasonable, and didn't try to sell me things I didn't need right now. He went out of his way to inform me how my systems work, and worked very hard to get my Coach up and running so I could move in immediately, which involved going through all my systems. I am having him out again to fix some other things, and feel really good about having someone in my corner I can call if I have any problems. Let me start with Shane is a great guy and VERY experienced RV mobile mechanic! We purchased a brand new travel trailer from Camping World that unfortunately needed some attention.. First the hot water heater didn t work. Shane fixed it in a matter of minutes. Also the rear stability jacks didn t work. Shane did his tests and found the electrical problem promptly and fix the jacks. It was snowing blowing and cold while he was here and he wasn t fazed bye it other than his hands got cold I would refer him to anyone that needs their RV fixed! Don t bother looking elsewhere!! Oh and I forgot to mention he traveled a hundred miles one way to help us!! Need I say more!! Thanks again for the professional honest service Shane!!Service: Electrical

Shane has helped me out a few times with various issues from my furnace to my water heater to electrical issues. He always arrives at the scheduled time and lets me know when he is on his way. He is thorough and his work is done well. He is really good a tracking down problems that aren t outwardly apparent. And, I trust him to do the work right.

My travel trailer refrigerator wasn't working on propane, was working on 110V and 12V. Shane showed up and his knowledge was unsurpassed. Two technicians had previously attempted to correct this problem without success, but Shane had all the right tools and testing equipment. He was quick to show up and reasonably priced. We had a catastrophe late on a Sunday Night. Shafer Mobile RV Service & Repair was more responsive and kind than our insurance company. While we ended up taking the RV elsewhere for service, Shafer helped us find a repair shop that could help, and Lee was genuinely kind to us, even when there was nothing in it for him. Shane and his team do a great job and stand by their word. He installed new batteries, a new LP detector and leak tested my propane system for free. He did a complimentary roof inspection and did a great job resealing the problem areas, cleaned the roof of our motorhome and applied a UV treatment. Knowing I had access to a good tech, I also had him repair some gray tank rubber couplings that would have been a major headache if they failed. Very satisfied, would recommend him and will use his services again when I come back through town.Service: Battery

Shane came to our campsite and replaced our cracked blackwater tank and the valves on the gray water and blackwater tanks. He straightened out a dropped UPS delivery and then worked until 10 pm to finish the work in time for us to travel to to our next location. By far, Shane and his crew are the best, most helpful, most caring repairmen I've ever had for anything.During the April snow our new to us 22 year old motorhome decided to break down not once but twice with electrical issues so I didn't have heat. Shane, squeezed us in and fixed our motorhome the next day....both times! He was just so nice and so knowledgeable too. We really don't know what we're doing being thrust into this situation so quickly and he stopped and took the time to answer some of my really "dumb" questions too.I definitely recommend Shafer Mobile RV service. Was VERY happy with Shafer Mobile RV Service. Shane was honest, professional and very knowledgeable. He replaced a blown converter in my travel trailer, ordering and getting the part for me cheaper than I could get it from the manufacturer. He was fast and efficient in his repair thus also saving me labor costs. Considering that he had to drive 5 hrs round trip to get to me, I thought his service call fee was very reasonable. I would recommend Shafer RV Service and Shane, ( a good man , in my opinion) to everyone.

About a year ago, Shane had replaced our failed ATS electricity box that distributes shore power to the rest of the motorhome. Still working with NO problems. I had lost his info after a difficult move, but I searched for his name for RV repairs and found him. When he heard I had a propane leak, he moved my service call up and showed up in about an hour AND got my heater up & running with a temp fix to thaw my pipes that froze the night before, while we wait for parts in three days. Thanks, Shane! And thank you for the uplifting words for my terrible situation!

Shane answered our call for help on a Sunday morning. Even though he was busy all day, he managed to squeeze us in and look at the damage in our fifth wheel. He was up-front about his rates and what we were looking at in parts and labor.We made an appointment for later in the week, for which he was on time and very communicative. We ran into a handful of unforeseen issues, and Shane handled them gracefully and quickly. We are more than happy with his work and he ll be our first call next time we need RV repairs. He s about the nicest guy you could hope to meet, he was honest, efficient, and his rates are very fair. Thanks again Shane!

We had a blowout late on a Friday afternoon, which did some damage under the rig. After being told by many RV techs and service centers in the area that they were booked out for weeks we found Shafer Mobile RV. The woman who answered the phone was amazing and completely compassionate to our situation. She communicated well with us. Shane came out first thing on Sunday morning and got us safe and roadworthy again. He was extremely knowledgeable and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend Shafer Mobile RV.

We were traveling through the area and needed a Forever Warranty Inspection completed with some repairs to our stove and toilet. They were able to schedule us right away.
