J & A Auto Repair is great!! Broke down coming from Washington, and they were the only auto mechanic to take my car in, and made it super easy and accommodating being that my car was not going to get towed there until after closing hours. They had my car up and running to go by the time I had to make the trip back. Amanda at the front desk is super nice and informative.Service: Electrical repair

Really can not speak highly enough about the folks at J&A - My wife and I were on the last leg of a road trip between Seattle and Oakland when something in the undercarriage of our car started loudly rattling. Fearing the worst, we called around and J&A were the only folks in the area that would help us out. Given the circumstances, I braced for the worst, but they saw to our car right away, quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem and charged us a fraction of what I expected.Also, it's not for nothing, but they also were just warm, personable people to work with. It honestly was the best experience I've ever had at a repair shop.

I cannot say enough about the excellent service I received from them when my transmission failed 3,000 miles away from home.From the moment I walked in the door, the staff at J & A Auto Repair took care of me and made me feel like family. They quickly diagnosed the problem with my car and informed me that I needed a new transmission. I was worried about the cost, but they assured me that they could get me a Jasper transmission for a very fair price.I was impressed with how quickly they were able to get the new transmission installed and get me back on the road.J & A Auto Repair exceeded my expectations in every way possible. Their professionalism, knowledge, and excellent customer service made me feel confident that I had made the right choice in trusting them with my car. I've had a heck of a time finding a mechanic that hasn't tried to add on some extra fees / rip me off in the Klamath Falls area. J & A Auto was so friendly from the moment I called them. I took in my pickup and they took care of everything very fast, with honest prices, and explained what they would be doing for repairs. I felt like I was in great hands. Very nice and helpful people! About a month ago my husband and I were traveling through the area and broke down. These guys were able to get parts and get us back on our way asap! It took about a week, but we needed multiple parts once they opened the hood, so it's totally understandable and no one should have expectations higher than that. Super helpful and the ONLY shop in town we contacted that had good customer service, willing to do the work and do it "quick" and actually cared. 10/10 recommend.

While traveling from California to Washington, our car broke down and we had to get an emergency tow to Klamath Falls. After seeing the reviews of J & A Auto Repair, I called to see if they had time to look at our car that afternoon. They said yes and willingly took a look upon our arrival. Thankfully, it was a quick fix. Everyone at J & A was friendly, eager to help, and evidently knowledgable about detailed car service. They tightened up a few loose ends under our hood and gave some tips to avoid another break down. All free of charge due to the quickness of the fix! So blessed by this team. They told us that most other local repair shops avoid taking in travelers too. If you are in need of service near Klamath Falls, don t go anywhere else!

This review is long overdue. Let me start by saying if it was not for the good people and mechanics here we would have been stuck for a long time. My wife and I were traveling through the area with our toy hauler when my truck started having issues and left us stranded. John and Amanda rushed to get us back on the road. Thank you so much to everyone here. We are very grateful for the rush to help us, the kindness that was shown and the sympathy shown.

Thanks so much again for your help! Really friendly and helpful people, fixed up our van in no time and charged us a fair price with no hidden extras. Only mechanic in the area to help us on the day too - seemed to be a busy week for everyone else! I would highly recommend this skilled garage!

This was easily the best experience with a auto repair shop almost like Ever. On vacation with car issues, called and explained the problem they asked me if it was able to drive it down to them. When I arrived they had ordered the parts drove me to a restaurant while they immediately jumped on my repair even though it was obvious they were very busy. The cost was better than if I was at home in Idaho. The other shop I called didn't even bother to call me back after three days, so much for the local mobil mechanic. I have always been treated kindly and courteously when bringing my vehicles here in the past, and John and Amanda (owners) have always been very helpful and reasonable with their rates. However today, Memorial day 2019, was just amazing. I had just personally rebuilt the carburetor on my dual sport motorcycle, and was out for a test ride when it became plugged again, and I happened to be in the neighborhood of J and A. I literally could not keep my bike running, so I walked it down the street, hoping that someone was there. And there was John, out working. I asked him for some simple tools to borrow so I could disassemble my carburetor again, and not only did he allow me to use any tool I needed, but he also provided a workspace and some brake cleaner to use... for free. These are kind people with remarkable service, and I will always highly recommend. Thank you, John and Amanda.

We are so thankful we came across J & A Auto Repair shop! We are on a road trip from Wisconsin and our check engine light came on last night. Every auto repair place in the area told us they were booked three weeks out and couldn t even take a look at it. J & A was the only place who was emphatic of our situation and willing to look at our car immediately. They ran a diagnostic and confirmed our hopes...it was likely just a glitch in the computer! They even took the time to show us how to reboot the car ourselves in the unfortunate event that we would have troubles later on in our trip. Definitely would recommend J & A auto to anyone in the area in need of car maintenance!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I was really in a bind with my vehicle having a near total loss of power. I didn't have access to another at the time. We have been doing business with J&A Auto Repair for the last 7 years and if you are looking for a place to have your vehicle worked on, look no further! They will take such good care of you and only fix what is really needing to be fixed! They do their work as unto the Lord, not you! They will always do more to please Him so you can rest assured you will be happy! Are they perfect, no one is, but they don't stop until it is done right! Trust in that! My husband, 3 dogs and I broke down outside of crater lake and couldn't find any shops in the area who would look at our van for another week. We found J & A and we are SO thankful that we did. Not only did they make us a priority since we were traveling, but they were extremely accommodating to us and our dogs. They know what they're doing and are extremely kind folks. I would recommend them for any of your car problems!

JUST EARNED A NEW CUSTOMER!I had some issues that I was concerned with on my jeep, and I just wanted them looked at. I called 3 business, and they all wanted to make an appointment just to diagnose my jeep. J & A wanted me in that day to verify that my car was safe to drive. The staff were polite, friendly, and very helpful. They diagnosed my jeep, and told me it was safe to drive. All my business from today foreward will be with them, especially when they are concerned with my safety and not how much money they can get from me. Thank you guys so much!

J & A are amazing. We were camping at Crater Lake when our timing belt went out. We got towed into town and J & A dropped everything to help us get taken care of ASAP. Most mechanics were booked out for weeks but we were able to get out in two days. Thank you doesn t cover it. Highly recommend!

Small family-owned business that seems to do lots of fleet work. Six racks. They were able to fit me in for a simple oil change and minor work. Fast and efficient. Professional in that they can look up the required or recommended service specs for your vehicle and apply them. Went in for a coolant leak and they fixed it ( new part) Drove to work and car started over heating again. I called them and the mechanic showed up to my work and fixed the issue. I am so happy it was super cool of them to come to my work place and fix it . I was stressing out thinking it might be another issue but everything turned out fine . This is my new go to mechanic ! If i could give more stars in this review i would . Thank you!

John and Amanda took care of our problem in 15 minutes. Our vehicle s electrical system went out and we were on the road and somewhat panicked. The first five mechanics that we called were booked out for weeks. Per J & A it turned out to be a bad battery Terminal. A minor fix. Phew! We will always remember these guys and their hospitality and their accuracy and their punctuality.

Brought my car in for some major work. Messed up my whole rear end pretty much. They were easy to deal with and got it back to me as soon as they could. Drives so much better now. Will be returning customer.

A great group of people who do honest work. This was my best experience with an auto shop. I was driving through the area when my vehicle became disabled and I called JA and was immediately put at ease. Couldn t have asked for a better experience.

Not sure what to think of this place. I had my car taken in because of the transmission fluid leaking and other problems with my car. They looked at it and replaced the front pump seal with a brand new gasket. When I had gone there to pay for the work they did on it, I was told that the it was still leaking and just as bad as before. However, there was no signs of any damage and was told that I could take my car but with the risk of it leaking all over and dripping on the exhaust that may potentially cause a fire......how is it leaking just as bad? Obviously, they did something to it and now I was recommended by them to get another transmission. It's hard to tell if they really know what they are doing.

Pulled up at 8 am and John stopped what he was working on and came right to me. He started immediately working on my vehicle until it was fixed. Charged very minimal and got me back on the road!!! had my truck towed there on a friday. i thought the oil pump went out. they said they could look at it on tuesday to see what was wrong with it. on saturday they called to say the truck was fixed and it was only the oil switch and the bill was only $129. i thought it was the pump which would cost around $400 to fix. it's nice to have a place that fix's whats wrong and not to charge a arm and a leg. thanks J&A. a job well done.
