Best service in town!! I have a 1987 ford tioga motorhome. Called just about every mechanic shop in town to find out no one likes working on RVs. Thankfully I found Holmes 4x4. Jack literally took my RV in the next day as we had a camping trip planned for the upcoming weekend. He fixed a smog pump and belt within one business day. Unreal to find a mechanic shop that would fix this problem let alone in one day. Super friendly and will recommend them to everyone I know! Thank you!!!Service: Engine repair

I had a problem with my turbo not working properly as I was headed out of town towing a trailer. They were able to get me in and fix the problem in just a matter of a few minutes while the dealer in town said they could make me an appointment approximately 2 1/2 months from then. Very happy with the service we recieved on our Ram. The staff were friendly, approachable, and straightforward. Our truck was back on the road quicker than I expected and at a competitive rate. If there was an option for million stars I d take it! I called Monday morning at a few minutes past 7 and a real person actually answered the phone. A very courteous and helpful person to be exact! I wasn t expecting to be able to get my husband s Jeep Wrangler X in for at least a week or longer. Much to my surprise there had been a cancellation per Jack (nice man who answered) and we had the Jeep towed in that morning.My husband had told Jack the issues with the vehicle and told Jack to fix whatever was wrong with it - be thorough! So Holmes 4x4 pretty much had a blank check and carte blanche to fix whatever they found needing repair. Yes - they could have totally taken us to the proverbial cleaners and we wouldn t have been the wiser.What ended up happening is they gave the Jeep a thorough once over and recommended we take it to the Jeep dealer down the road. It needed to have a particular reset done that only a Jeep dealer could perform. We got out of there for a song.We found that Jack was a joy to work with and HONEST AND TRUSTWORTHY! Christina was also a lovely person to talk with after we were all said and done - and we cannot recommend HOLMES 4x4 enough.It s obvious they pride themselves in reliable repairs and honesty. Two very rare things these days indeed.We will definitely be return customers.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

The people here are very nice. My wife crashed my vehicle and almost totaled it. They took in my car without keys, strait from the tow truck to check it out. When I visited, they showed me the issues with my vehicle and what would need to be replaced. When I explained my situation and money troubles, they offered to gather ALL the parts used to get a much cheaper price. They were super helpful and also really sweet to me. I was in a kinda unique situation where my converted school bus broke down when I was passing through town. They called everyone in town to try find the right part and even let me camp there overnight in my bus. They managed to find the right part and a couple of the mechanics even took me to get tacos so I didn t have to miss taco Tuesday. Had issues with my T1N sprinter (converted), on a trip from Ontario (Canada, eh) through America with my family, 3 kids. *stressThey got us in right away, fixed the problem, then above all else, they showed us a place to stay for the night.Above and beyond.Thank you again.

I love that I can take me car to these guys and I know that they will begin working on it as soon as they can. I am a delivery driver so when my car is down, so is my income. It makes it incredibly difficult for me when a mechanic can t get my car in for multiple days before they can even look at it.I had an issue with a loose bolt in the alternator of my car the other day that I could not screw back in myself. I called Holmes and they told me they could check it out for me right away. They ended up having to take the belts off to get the bolt back in place. Within an hour, they had the bolt back in place and I was back on the road making money.No other mechanics I know can get my car issues fixed as quick as these guys can.I highly appreciate the speedy service!

So we had q bracket on our 97 jeep wrangler ripped from the frame. We went to several different auto body shops and mechanic shops and Noone would help us fix it.Finally we stopped in here and they quoted us a little less than we expected to pay. So we paid what we budgeted for just in case reasoning.They only had our vehicle 2 days aside from it being q weekend and our jeep was fixed. Total it off they even reimbursed us money.This has got to be the most honest shop I've ever had the pleasure of doing business with. They're fast, and honest people. Wife's 2012 RAV4 stopped running. Holmes 4x4 is the only mechanic I will let work on my vehicles. Granted it was thanksgiving weekend I figured it would be a good week or two before it could be fixed. Had it towed to their shop and within 3-4 hours they diagnosed the problem, replaced the alternator and battery and she was good as new. I have a 1995 Mercury, and thanks to the excellent care and maintenance here, it runs as smooth as the day I got it. The owner explains what needs to be done, and the work is done efficiently. And the prices are more than fair. This is a mechanic that I would come too even if I moved out of the area. Update. The leaking oil isn t their mistake. But we did discover they didn t add Freon to the air conditioner when they were done. I would also like to say that we did call and take the car in. We were told to just watch it and they added coolant. The mechanic that added the coolant said he hated my Jeep.They didn t fix the problem and today we found out they must have disconnected the air conditioner and failed to put it back. I would give them no stars if I could. They had our vehicle for almost three months. Cost over $3000 and still didn t fix it. I wouldn t trust them if I were you. Oh and they broke bolts and couldn t find replacement ones. We left for a vacation and now it is leaking oil. No response from them so they don t care!!!Service: Engine repair

I always trust Holmes for all of our vehicle problems (having 3 teens who all drive in the home, unfortunately we have had multiple times we needed our cars serviced) Holmes always gets us in same day and has us back on the roads quick. Great customer service, fair, trustworthy and all around very nice people! Thank you Jack for all of your help!!!

I showed up with a suspension issue on my Jeep. After waiting in the empty lobby for a few minutes a guy finally came out. He was obviously in a bad mood. He didn't want to walk outside to see the issue. He told me to leave my number and they would call in a few days. They never called. I gladly took my business to an actual professional.Edit: This would have been around March 28-29th. Burgandy Jeep. Blue building on Washburn next to Frontier Trailer that says "HOLMES 4 WHEEL DRIVE" on the sign. No confusion there. That's exactly how you did business.

So I've been doing business with these guys for the last 3y, on top of my employers work vehicles, and my own I've had a wide range of things taken care of. The work they do is awesome, staff is knowledgeable & reliable, and the work is done right & on time. Needs to say I will continue doing business here.

They did a preliminary check out on a vehicle I was looking to purchase. I was pleased with how quickly they were able to work me in and give me feedback. Some time after I purchased the truck, the battery started to give me problems, so I took it in to have them check it. A cell had went bad; it happens, no big deal on a battery eight years old. They offered me a new Interstate battery at a fair price and installed it in a few minutes while I waited. Very pleased and will bring my vehicle here in the future.

Jack and his crew are awesome! Took my 4 Runner there for some work and they found another unexpected problem and after calling me, fixed it. They stand behind their work and never hesitate to answer any questions you might have. I have taken it back in just for a concern and they looked it over and relieved my concerns. I won't be taking my baby anywhere else now.

Do not use this business they are a rip off they charge you for parts they don't use and when they mess up your engine they don't stand behind their word I just had to have my engine replaced after having them work on it they are the worst people In klamath fallsto deal with especially the owner jack he is rude and disrespectful and acts like he's there to help you until you come back over his bad workService: Engine repair

They do great work and backup their work. We stopped in with Diesel truck problems -- traveling with our slide-in camper. They went far out of their way to help get us back on the road with reassurances that this wasn't serious as we thought and that we could just continue on our way to home (Florida) without fear! Thank you so much!

Very expensive labor rates. I brought my vehicle in to get the front brakes sorted out on my truck & was charged almost $300 just for labor.. I supplied my own parts. Also had a wobble in my front end like the tires were put on wrong or not torqued evenly. Didn't have this issue before.

Can't select a partial star....and that's even hard. Didn't give written estimate...said he could not speak to me over phone cause he had actual customers in front of him. Excuse me a am....or now was a paying customer. Would of gladly held to talk with him but that wasn't even an option. Won't go there if it was the only 4wd shop on the planet.

I brought my 2005 Jeep Wrangler LJ Rubicon in at the end of this summer and I had them have a lift kit, body lift, disc brakes, and a few other things as well, and they did a great job with the work they did and at a fair price, definately would reccomend to go to Holmes 4WD for all your auto service needs.
