My family and friends have been and always will be recommended Emmet's Auto!Spent the past three days working on the front end of a diesel pick up and figured Id ask if they could remove and press a part. While I was expecting hours of wait time and high costs, Emmet's had it done in 15 minutes and at a reasonable price!

In Klamath Falls on business and had some issues with a trim piece on the front of my car that came loose. Despite being quite busy - they got me in, and in 5 minutes had me back on the road. Great group of guys! Wouldn t hesitate to use Emmett s again in the future!

First of all, if I could give a rating lower than zero I would but since I have to list something to post - ONE it is. So, with that out of the way, I will begin this review with: THIS PLACE IS THE WORST!It's disheartening to realize that a mechanic, whose purpose is to improve the conditions and safety of one's car, could let such a critical oversight of not putting coolant back into a car and hand over the keys without any acknowledgement that there isn't any coolant in the engine at all. So what could been warranty work quite possibly may turn into all out of pocket.It's unfathomable that such a fundamental error could be made by "alleged" professionals.EDIT: 10/24/23 - The owner is responsive to these comments.He spoke to my hubby about our experience. I believe the proper amount of accountability and concern was conveyed on his (Emmett's Auto Repair Center) part.Look, mistakes happen. This mistake could have cost us a lot of money in replacing a motor. Thankfully, vehicle was returned from dealer after warranty work was performed and all was covered. It was a hassle but we got through it.I will change my review from a "one" to a "three" because Emmett's Auto did take accountability for their mistake.

While I still have low sentiment surrounding communication between shop and front I'd like to state the owner called and it's refreshing to observe this mans ownership is not just in name.I see his side of things and likely would have done things similarly only to be foiled by <sigh> someone trying to keep customers happy and handing over keys prior to having a deeper understanding of what going on. My gramma used to say, "The road to hell is paved w/ good intention".This shop is willing to stand by it's work if something goes gunnybag, the owner proved that to me today. Even though we started out with a 1 star, I'm bumping it to 5 after today.

The best mechanic in Klamath falls hands down. Communicate costs and are straightforward with business .Honest and always committed to getting you back on the road. Even if your car isn't being corporative.They are absolutely serious about fixing your problems and getting your rig running.. These folks are sincere and honest and that is something you won't get anywhere else.The owner leads his team wellTrust them and the quality they provide .If something does happen to go wrong these guys will take care of you. Years and years of going there and I keep learning how much better their quality is thencompared to every other shop.Subaru owners this is the place to go to have those problems fixed or even prevented.. I know you got them !

Our car had the dreaded Check Engine light come on, with another 3 hours to go to get home. Brady answered our desperate phone call at 4:45pm, and welcomed us at the front desk 15 minutes later. After running a diagnostic test, it only needed a new air filter. Brady had us back on the road only 20 minutes later. We were SO impressed!!!

I waited 3 weeks for an appointment, I dropped my car off on the scheduled day Wednesday, and they said it would be ready by the weekend, happened to drive by their shop on Thursday mid morning, and my car is still sitting(unlocked) in the exact spot in the parking lot. Went in and asked about what was going on, and they acted like they didn't even know it was there. They still had time to do the job (timing chains) before I needed the car, but then they said they could start on it right away, and it would take 16 hours, and they didn't know when it would be done. Their original estimate was for 11 hours, and they would have it for 2 days. I took it home, and am looking for someone reliable to do the job here in town, before I have to take it to Medford. Nice people, but don't trust them.

The service was 10/10 and nothing but helpful and professional. Was located out in a California town and they were able to get everything done smoothly and efficiently over the phone. I drive an old Dodge truck. I had a stalling issue that 2 other shops couldn't find or fix after weeks of trying. Jim not only found the issue FAST, but fixed it RIGHT the 1st try. He went above and beyond for me and my truck lives to see another year! Go here FIRST!! They are fast, reliable and reasonable! I have always been impressed with the Harlan family that has owned Emmett's for 2 generations. Gary and Linda took automotive repair to a level of integrity and professionalism that made me their customer for life. There was a situation where a small accident happened in the shop to one of my vehicles, and they fixed it perfectly. Then Gary and Linda's Marine Corps Combat Veteran son joined the shop and if Kurt and his wife Katie had maintained the same level of integrity and professionalism that Gary and Linda created that would be amazing by itself. Damn if those new owners didn't improve on it. The staff at Emmett's today is second to none and when you pick up your car after it was worked on and the entire staff to a person says we guarantee our work. Wow. I had the best experience with Emmett. Took it in the day after they got it in an fixed my problem in a very rapid time. Kurt called me said the problem was fixed an I could come pick it up. Emmett s has amazing customer service. My husband is a RV transporter and puts lots of miles on his vehicle so naturally we have lots of work needed. They understand his truck makes us our money and always does their best to get us back on the road quickly. Brady always takes his time to make sure we know exactly what was done and helps make the best decisions for our vehicle. We won t take our vehicles anywhere else.Service: Transmission

There's a reason most of the emergency services use Emmetts for their vehicles - they offer quality work at reasonable prices. Auto repairs are never fun, and the best you can hope for is to get your vehicle back the way it was before it broke, so lots of people complain when they have to pay for any service. I try to do my own work, but when I can't I trust Kurt and the guys at Emmetts to do the hard stuff right. I've recommended them to my daughter, her friends and my other family members many times, and I'll continue to do so. They're usually booked out a couple weeks because they're good - it's worth the wait.

They perform all service on our 3 pickups.They have saved our bacon at work many many times. We recommend them to all our friends and customers. If you have money to blow, this is the place to go! 502 $ for an oil change, fuel filter,and air filter. 209$ in labor alone. Plus had my truck from 9am to 1pm, for a simple task. Never getting my business again. Zero out of five stars, not recommended. I'm sorry this your reply by no means are you speaking to someone that doesn't know how to do the work myself. I've completed the work you did on my truck in about an hour. That said the expenses your trying to justify are not valid, I know what parts cost for what I asked of you, therefore while speaking to other customers of yours, they also stated that your cost was way inflated and also would not return to your business. There is nothing more to say on the matter.Service: Oil change

Emmett's is by far the most professional, honest and reliable automotive repair facility I've ever dealt with. From the moment you walk in, you know that delivering superb customer service and quality repairs are paramount to the team at Emmett's. I never shop for the lowest price (comments I see from other consumers). I shop for value! I know that you get what you pay for and I am more than happy to pay for a quality repair. I've had Emmett's perform a number of repairs for me and I've recommended friends and family and will continue to do so. Thank you for being a locally owned company that I trust and gladly support with my business! Kudos to the team at Emmett's.

My wife and I were driving our truck from Washington to California when our problem occurred. I had just had the transfer case replaced, but something went wrong while traveling through Klamath Falls. Fortunately it was covered under the repair warranty, but Emmett's Auto repair did a great job of working with the other shop to take care of the paper work and warranty coverage. It took a couple days off our trip to get the part and have the repair done. Emmett's helped connect us with an auto rental at a great price. They were very communicative and we were on the way ahead of their predicted completion time. I would definitely recommend their services to others.

I heard good things allot them so had my van (2005 odyssey) towed 35 miles there. They didn't want to do the mechanic work but wanted to sell me a short block (lower half of engine) for $12,000.00 instead without price of labor. Well, that's just lazy path at customers expense. I wouldn't go here for air in the tires. To examine my van cost $128.00 Good thing they never checked the air in the tires...might have been double!Towed My van Back home. Whatam expensive waste. Wouldn't send am enemy here!

I bought a wrecked truck and brought it in to have the rack and pinion replaced. They charged a reasonable price. Upon leaving, I noticed my steering wheel was slightly kinked to the right when the tires were straight. Not that big of a deal.I get a call about a week later from one of the service persons asking me how everything is going. I explained the situation and they promptly scheduled me to come back in to adjust it.That call made all the difference and shows that they value their customers. 5/5 stars for service.

I took my 1996 Impala SS for a pass key fault. They were able to figure out the problem and mend it. They were kind enough to notify me on the cost and whether or not to complete the fix or not. I also like their shuttle service.Service: ElectricalService: Electrical

Brought in for water pump replacement. Poor communication! 1st go around my car was there for 3 weeks before they started on it. Never received 1 phone call to explain the delay. Drove it for 2 days, oil spraying out everywhere. Wouldn't even stay 5 minutes after closing to take our keys. Fixed problem next day. Part failed within a year,no fault of there's. Part would take a few days to get, understandable. No call that part came in. I called and was told it would be ready 1st part of following week. No call by Thursday so I called. NOT EVEN STARTED YET! My car was finally ready 1 day short of 3 weeks! Zero communication! I will NEVER do business with them again!

I've had two of my trucks in the last few months repaired. I had the crew at Emmett's repair the brakes on my F-350 Super Duty on 35" tires. Last night, a deer jumped in front of me and I had to hammer the brakes. I could not BELIEVE how fast I stopped. If not for the antilock brakes, I am quite certain I would have locked up all for corners.The other is my family wagon Ford Excursion. Diagnosed recently what was wrong, had the mechanic explain it plainly so I knew what was going on. Recommended some components be replaced and explained why. Quicker turnaround than I expected.I trust my cars, and my family, with the quality service and products provided at Emmett's. We are new to the area, so I went here based off of a review another women wrote about not being treated differently. She was right. This place is great! Jim was very upfront about the services they were doing to the car and provided prices. My check engine light was on and other auto repair companies said the issue was too complex and would cause more problems. Emmett's was able to fix it without causing more problems. We had our oil changed as well. I highly recommend going to Emmett's.

Thank you Brady for exceptional service. My family and me we're traveling and had a breakdown and we're forced to have to stay in the hotel we took our truck to lithia Ford dealership and was possibly diagnosed the wrong trouble and was very overpriced, found Emmett's online with very good reviews and decided to call them they fixed the trouble in one day save me more than half of what I was quoted with dealership and I'm very grateful for the professionalism and quality of work they did, thank you Emmett's and I would highly recommend them and will use them in the future thank you very much from the Souza family
