mark f. 0 out of 5 stars. Lowest possible score! The Hood River Oregon store did a bad radiator service that cost me my engine. I filed a claim in their customer service dept., then to the store manager, then to area manager, all denied my claim. My truck was my work truck, transportation and livelihood. Valvoline's lack of responsibility cost me my truck and months of pay. I had to buy another truck, and even though Valvoline treated me like garbage, I decided to give them another chance today. I took my new truck there for a license plate light bulb, they broke off the cover because they didn't know what they were doing and tried to cover it up and told me they were out of that light bulb and to go to the closet auto part store and tell them to do it. After handing me the broken pieces and trying to send me off, I got out of the truck to see what they did. It was obvious that they broke the light cover off and tried to hide it. I asked the technician if they broke it, and he then admitted that they did break it. I already knew that technicians are not professional mechanics, but now I know without a doubt that they will break your car, lie and cheat about it, and leave you stranded and stuck.

Requested all sorts of weird extraneous information, didn't know required oil types for my vehicle, quoted and showed me incorrect pricing for 5 qts, when vehicle needs 7.7 qts. Was $30 more expensive than other quick lube places in hood river. Can't recommend.

Ezra did a very good job with everything during my oil change! He gave me options and his professional option about my fluids and windshield wipers. Additionally,he made sure that I understood the whole process of what they were doing with my vehicle. We are on a road trip from Coeur d'Alene to Grants Pass, so the oil change was necessary and he got us in there and finish up within 30 minutes. If we live here we would definitely choose this as our place to get our oil changed all the time. We wish there was more places like this where we're from. Thank you Ezra and your team for all your help.

Charged way too much, first the representative told me something and customer service another thing, no cup�n that was told over the phone was ever applied, wouldn t recommend.

No prices listed anywhere, charged me over $100 for an oil change with NOTHING ELSE DONE. No filter no other fluids checked or changed NOTHING. When my husband took my car in for the EXACT SAME service it was less the $70. I will never take another car here for anything.

Very friendly, fast and thorough service (five stars), unfortunately the next time I had the oil changed in my vehicle (different location) the technicians couldn t get the oil filter off because it had been severely over-torqued and was seized in place (one star). It took three technicians nearly 45 minutes to get the filter off.

Friendly staff. Our truck has 222,000 miles on it. Last time they serviced it (a year ago) it had 220,000. As I left the guy handed me a new window sticker and I didn't notice until I got home it said next service at 55,000 miles. My email receipt said the same thing.After I posted this review the owner replied thanking me, but didn't acknowledge the mistake. Moving from 4 stars to 3.

Don t ever let them do any work on your vehicle. They replaced a belt on my truck. Saying it needed replaced. Right after they replace the belt noises started happening. Now it s in the repair shop , I have to pay $400 to fix damages from them doing a bad job on my truck. I m a woman they took advantage of me.This is a oil changing shop. Not a repair shop. They have no right working in any ones cars. Very very displeased.Service: Oil change

This is a really good place to go. We ran into a problem caused by another place that last changed my oil. These guys didn't cause the problem but they fixed it anyways. I'm very happy. Thank you.

Horrible place avoid it! Just got an oil change on a car that I got new from the dealer ship the car has been perfect never had any issues got an oil change yesterday and as soon as they asked me to start my car up my check engine light turned on for the very first time ever owning my car they had to run a scanner and take it off and now it came up again and my car is making noises from under the hood. A very busy place! I had to wait over 45 minutes to get the fluids checked. The service when I finally got to the front of the line was great. The people were very friendly, polite and courteous. Maybe they need to expand the place so they can put in a couple more baysI will go back for an oil change when needed

Just went here for an oil change. They stripped the threads out on one of my skid plate bolts. Besides that, they do really aggressive upselling. I declined all the other services. The tech started asking me where I am going to get the service done if not here. It was uncomfortable. I m never going back. There are a lot of great locally owned shops around town.

Very thorough and the technician explained everything that I needed to know. I bought 2 batteries and a complete oil change for my diesel truck and it's running like new even though it has over 310K miles

the last time I went in for an oil change during the air filter check they broke 3 out of 4 screws on my air box housing and did not let me know. It would have been nice to have been informed instead of hiding it from me. Especially because the housing could have easily came off and caused problems with my fairly new vehicle. I will choose to not go here any more. Picture evidence below.

I waited and hour on 11-20-2021And all they did was change my oil no top off of window wiper fluidNor checked my battery.They said I needed to go to a Nissan dealership next time for a more in depth serviceI was like what the heckI go here at this location alot as a matter of Fact anytime I need an oil changeThis time new facesAnd a horrible serviceNot happy at all

A couple months ago I got an oil change and transmission flush. Long story short they put too much oil in my engine and did not fill the transmission. They fixed the bad oil change in my driveway the next day after contacting Valvoline head office. The manager Cody said that he'd refund the bad oil change but has not yet (been 2 months now) would not recommend anyone go here.

So easy, you just pull in & wait in your vehicle while they change your oil. The staff is courteous, professional, friendly and quick! They take Triple AAA (I saved $13 dollars) and have coupons online as well. Highly recommend!

This was my first time taking my husband's truck in to have the oil changed. The employee named Tyler Gotchall was very helpful and friendly. Because of him I give this business 5 stars. He informed me clearly what they were doing to the truck. Answered all of my questions clearly. He checked my lights and all of my fluids. Topping off my windshield wiper fluid. I didn't even have to get out of my vehicle. Not once. I imagine Tyler was just "doing his job" but he went beyond this. Great friendly staff. In and out. Thanks guys.

The employee that told us which lane to get in directed us to the far right lane and 3 people were served before us. He seemed pretty oblivious to a lot of things but his mistake (and failure to stop the other drivers who went ahead even though they knew they arrived after we did) turned an instant oil change into an hour long ordeal.
