My wife and I went to Sheppard's to look at tractors this Spring. Ben was very helpful in helping us figure out what we needed as first time buyers. Once he got what we were looking for in stock, I got a very thorough run-through of the machine from Brent, the mechanic. I worked with Alice on the transaction, and she is a real delight. The tractor was delivered to my address within the hour by Chris. All in all a great experience and a terrific team of employees.

Booked for small engine repair 3 weeks out. Can't schedule to bring in, you have to bring your machine in and wait for 3 weeks just to have them look at it.

If you need yard, farm or heavy farm equipment this is the place. We just bought a small tractor with a bucket and 72 inch mower. This was the easiest and the nicest big unit purchase we have ever made. Alice did the financing and Abe showed us how to use the equipment, what a wonderful group to work with.

The website was super easy to use and I was preapproved in just minutes. I was worried that my experience at Sheppard's would be similar to my car buying experience in the past. Ben and Alice were so friendly and helpful! The purchase process was super fast and easy and they had exactly what I wanted in stock. Their prices were fair and no one tried to upsell products I didn't need. They were genuinely excited to help me surprise my husband with this purchase! . Alice even went the extra mile and purchased birthday balloons to attach to the tractor! It was delivered on time and the delivery driver was very friendly and helpful. In short, there is nothing I could have asked for to make my experience any better! They have my business for life!

I have always been pleased with the level of customer service I receive at Sheppards. In addition to helping me find the ideal lawn mower for my needs, I can always count on them to service the product when it requires maintenance. They pick up the phone when I call and remarkably they remember me each time I walk through the door.

I called Sheppards based on the good reviews. I received a call back from Ben Sheppard, who offered to answer my questions on the equipment (I didn't have any, as I know what I'm looking for) but would not provide any pricing via phone or email. I'm relatively local, 60 miles, to hood river, so this dealer was on my call list. If shopping around dealers, and not able to pop in to the dealer, I would encourage you to look elsewhere. Added a star to 2 stars for the response. Thanks

I have bought many items from Sheppard's and have been very pleased with the tractor that we got, the chainsaw and the lawn mower. It seems if I go in with questions there is always someone there to help me get the answers. They provide great service too!

We have an old non Kubota tractor. Sheppards and Mike (who actually worked on the tractor) were great. Sheppards came and got my tractor. Mike serviced it, replaced things that truly needed replaced, and then they brought it back to our property. They located a hard to find part I needed, called and kept me informed along the way, and the price was less than I expected (when does that ever happen)?In an area where it seems hard to find folk that are willing commit to a job or find folk that will show up on time or at all.....It's refreshing to find a business that does it right from beginning to end.

I manage a business in the gorge. You would think the new building they recently moved into they would be able to carry parts. EVERY time I call to get parts, they dont have any in stock. I am done dealing with them. I will go elsewhere to get my parts and new equipment.

I researched the he Stihl chainsaws online, Sheppard's had the model I wanted, as well as the three comparisons in stock. It was easy to buy there, and the salesman there that Saturday was knowledgeable and helpful.

What's mom's happiness worth???My 87 year old mother (Kathern) was in the market for a new zero turn mower after her Dixon gave up the ghost, and yes she cuts her own grass. We delt with Alice and it was a pleasure. Mom got a new Kabota and I have never seen her so happy. She was like a little kid on Christmas morning when it was delivered. With a small amount of instruction she jumped (litterly) on it and hasn't stopped smiling. Thank you Alice for such a gift.

What does it take to get a Kubota tractor fixed? I have a friend that has been waiting over 2 months during Fire season to get his tractor fixed, and all he hears from the dealership is it's in the queue and are waiting. This is quite possibly the worst customer service that somebody has ever experienced

Not knowing a lot about equipment I was intimidated to shop here but, Sheppard's friendly and helpful staff put me at ease right away and helped me find what I needed. I'll definitely be going back for more equipment and service needs.
