Arrived on a Friday 20 minutes before closing. Needed one tire to get me 100 miles home. They took care of me so quickly! All three guys had the best attitude. I wish I lived nearby, I just cannot say it loudly enough, what great customer service!!! Thank you James and crewMarilyn

For a 9:00 appointment my tires took an hour and a half, while a young worker spent more time using his electric cigarette then doing any work. He walked past my car several times never stopping to put on a tire or put one in the trunk. He dropped off tires to get mounted but stood around waiting on others. He was no firecracker , needs to pick up the pace.

I m appreciative of these guys - I only got one oil change here and then had them check out a potential oil leak after a few days later which they did thoroughly, for free. A few months later I had a strong burning smell from my car so I took it in again and they did a one hour inspection, also free, and fixed tiny little things that might have contributed to the issue! I really appreciate this level of service and care for customers. Thanks so much

I am thankful to be able to make an appointment to change out my tires twice a year. No other tire company will do this in town. This week the snow tires came off. I sat in the reception area for only 40 minutes. I appreciate the quick service. See you in November

Gills is amazing, and Cruz was incredibly kind and helpful! My daughter was stranded with a dead car on a road trip from Beaverton to Spokane, and Cruz made sure she was taken care of when no mechanics in the area were open, and even this one had none on duty Saturdays. Thank you for saving our special family gathering this weekend! I wish I knew the name of the employee who went to jump her car so I could give a special shout out. Highly recommend Gills in Hood River!

Hood River Point S has been so incredibly helpful with my flats. I did not purchase this set (or any set) of tires here, and they were quick to help me when I ran over some nails on the freeway. The other tire shop in HR didn't give me the time of day, but Point S fit me into their busy schedule right away. Would recommend them solely for their friendliness, ease of experience, and how accommodating they've been. I am a serial deal hunter, but from my experience here this lasr week, I plan on purchasing my tires at Point S from now on.

Just wanted to do a shout out to Cruz. He was super helpful in finding me a pair of all-season tires that handle winter well. The nokians I got don t even hydroplane. They re pricey but well worth it. Unfortunately, one of my hubcaps flew off shortly after getting my tires changed and I wasn t able to locate it- but when I contacted Cruz, he ordered a new one for me right away at no charge. Thanks!

Very helpful and friendly staff! When my car battery died while driving from Portland to Spokane, they were able to come give my car a jump start and replace my battery within a half hour! Highly recommend.

I have unfortunately had numerous terrible experiences with Cruz at this particular location. Cruz consistently displays rude and unhelpful behavior, which has greatly disappointed me. As someone who previously considered this Tire shop my go-to place for all my needs for several years, it saddens me to say that I can no longer recommend it to anyone. Their lack of respect and poor customer service has caused me to lose faith in their ability to properly serve their customers.I am now left with no choice but to escalate my concerns and dissatisfaction by writing a letter to the corporate office. It is crucial for them to understand the impact that Cruz's behavior has had on their reputation, as well as the loss of a valuable customer like myself.

I first became familiar with Point S Tire in Hood River several years ago when a former employer trusted them to service our compnay fleet, and soon learned what a valuable partner Point S Tire was. I've enjoyed thier prompt professional service on my own vehicles as well and have had my expectations exceeded on every visit. This last week was no exception, when I was able to get imediate service on a Saturday morning for a low tire. The service team went the extra mile inspecting the tire, and ended up finding a fault in the rim that caused the low pressure- and was a safety hazard. My spare tire has a full size wheel, and they remounted my tire and reinstalled it on my vehichle using the spare wheel.....all at no charge. The attention to detail and genuine hometown feel from Point S Tire is always appreciated!

I was delayed to my appointment and they were able to get me in. However, the reception was a little brief and cold hearted and it would have been nice to be acknowledged and given a time range for completion.

All brakes work great. Just had to return to have the left front wheel lugs tightened. It was loose and clunking. They gladly torqued all 4 wheels. Thanks guys. T.P.

Pretty sure I needed to get a sensor fixed on my Dads truck tire. They diagnosed it quickly & even though they were super busy they offered to squeeze me in. It worked better for me to come back 2 days later. Great customer service, very reasonable prices & excellent work. I couldn t be more pleased. Will definitely come again & highly recommend them!

I had an appointment for new tires and alignment. Before I had even taken a seat two guys already had my truck up and taken old tires off. I was very happy how efficient they were. Cruz recommended the tires that I bought based on my driving conditions and I am very happy with them. Overall service was outstanding. The only place I will go for tires in Hood River going forward.

A rock became lodged in a brake caliper while we were out for the day, miles from home. Fortunately, Gills was right up the road. We pulled in, they diagnosed it and fixed it in 15 minutes. Didn't even charge us (but we tipped the tech anyway). What great service! You guys saved our day! Thanks so very much!

2 trips to Les Schwab did not fix my Tesla's vibration issue. Wrong diagnosis and wrong cure. But Cruz at Point S know what the problem was right away! Noise dampening foam ring in the wheel was unstuck and off-center. Was able to see me right away. Found the problem. Took off the 1LB of balance weights that LS had attached, removed the foam from the wheel, and done! Reasonable price, great service, great result. Have been loyal to LS since moving to Oregon but this experience means I have a new loyalty when in Hood River. Thanks team!

I discovered a flat tire on a Saturday morning. My tow company came and changed it, but the spare was one of those tiny temporaries. I called Gills Point S to see if they could fix it and they said bring it in ......even though they were closing within two hours! They took me in immediately, repaired my tire and put it back on my car.....all in less than a half hour. Super great service and a really nice crew!

THE BEST TIRE REPAIR EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD.This was a simple job yet the most efficient experience. I had a tire issue initially and it turned out I just needed a flat tire patch. The team was honest, quick, transparent and generous. Thank you!

Cruz and Point S provide great service and good prices. Today my car wouldn't start. Cruz fit me in and gave me a new battery fast. Even more impressively, he let me borrow his car so I could get home to my kids. I've never had that kind of friendly service from a tire center before. Point S really came through for my family today and I cannot recommend them highly enough.
