Incredible service. Local-family owned mechanic shop. Bob, Judy, Milo and Jayde are incredibly knowledgeable in so many areas. Combined, they are an amazing wealth of information and experience. I d trust my vehicle at the hands of these professionals any day! From having brakes done, to oil changed to new tires. They ve kept me and my family safe on the road for many years.

We were going on a road trip to Mexico and needed our muffler replaced the next day. Buntings got us in to fix it. Thank you for the prompt fast excellent service that kept us on our vacation schedule.

Yesterday I took my weird Ford Ranger camper in there to get some new tires put on and also one of my old tires mounted as a new spare. They did a great job and didn't ask any awkward questions about a camper built in the back of a Ford Ranger LOL. Good service fair and fast. Will recommend to friends.

Great, local, kind, affordable. What more can you ask for from a car shop? Judy & JD over here at Bunting's were more than helpful getting my 2000 Subaru back to a safe driving condition at a price that really beat some of the other shops around town. Very satisfied with the quickness and honesty that I received from the workers here. Called and got an alignment appointment for the same day, and when JD saw that there were things that would ruin the alignment right after the work would be done, he called and worked with me on finding the best solution to get the car on the road safely. All in all, a very satisfied customer right here. I was recommended from a friend and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone around Hood River.

The mechanics and staff are honest and friendly. They've never tried to over sell what needs to be done on any of my vehicles that I have taken in for repair. Whatever work I have had done at Buntings has been completed efficiently with great results.

To start the price was right. But that only gets so much respect, the clincher was the fact that Bob the man I dealt with had integrity. He gave me his real opinion even though he probably could have upsold me and cheated me. I was highly impressed with the speed and quality of service as well ( they even checked my tires I didn't buy from them and got them aired properly for my haul). If you need tires in the area and appreciate being treated like a friend with those you give your money to, I HIGHLY recommend these folks.

They replaced my stolen catalytic converter and did it swiftly and professionally. The staff is a little gruff, but I'm not there to chit-chat and make friends. They got the job done and they did it well.

Highly recommend Buntings! They ordered a replacement muffler for my F250 and Myron built a custom tail pipe out of 3" steel tubing. He used a bender machine to make a custom pipe and welded all the hangers, etc. - and it looks great! Outstanding work for a reasonable price and I did not have to wait! Go here if you need what they service!

I am so happy I took my car to Bunting's they saved me a ton of money! Part of my muffler broke off on my 2004 Honda Element after I backed into a snow pile and I first brought it to the Honda dealership in The Dalles, OR. They said they would not be able to repair it without replacing my entire exhaust system, which would cost $2,000. I couldn't believe it so I waited a little bit before having the work done because it was still winter and I didn't want to put any new parts on until winter was over. In the meantime I decided to check out Buntings and they said if they needed to replace the entire exhaust system it would be way cheaper. I brought my Honda in and they fixed my muffler (which did not need a complete exhaust replacement) for $65!!!!!! That included the labor! WOW was I surprised that I was about to spend $2,000 at Honda Dealership. Thank you Buntings!!!!

While visiting Hood River in mid-November for a medical procedure, we had a problem with the heater on our car. A local person at a coffee shop recommended Buntings, so we drove there, explained the problem, and after looking up what part would probably be needed and giving us a verbal quote, the owner said he could have the car ready for us by 5:00 PM (in about 2 hours, even though his assistant had already told us they were heavily booked up with work). He then had his wife drive us to our hotel, which was extremely kind of both of them. He called us at 4:45 to say the car was ready and that he'd soon be there to return it.He soon knocked on our door and explained that the car hadn't needed a new part at all. The problem had been caused by a low level of anti-freeze. We took him back to his shop, he put in more anti-freeze and charged us less than half of what he'd quoted us to fix our car. Imagine our surprise!We HEARTILY RECOMMEND BUNTINGS!

They got me out of a jam! I had a screw in my tire, so I called them and they got.me in and out in an hour and 15 mins for $15. SUPER friendly staff!

Only reason I gave two stars instead of one, is because they attempted to take a wheel lock off the back of my car. What gets me - is not necessarily the fact that they completely slaughtered the wheel lock and rim, but mainly because they stopped without finishing the job, said that it was taking them too long and that they had other appointments. I won t be going back there again.
