I've been dealing with Scotties on and off (if infrequently, thank goodness!) for 30+ years, and can tell you they're the best. Most recently I had a problem that they couldn't resolve because of a full schedule for months; however, Tony had me come in so he could give me a temporary fix, no charge. He also provided some good, sensible advice on options for proceeding in this weird time when it takes months to get parts and more months to get on the schedule with any body shop. These are definitely the people I want to deal with!Service: Body & Trim

Have used Scottie's twice now. Always good at communicating with us. Fairly smooth process from start to finish. Satisfied with workmanship on our repairs. Will return should the need arise.

Do not go here. Took my car in to get repaired and there was nothing but incompetence from the people i talked to. Please save yourself the money and time.From ordering the wrong parts or not enough parts or just straight up telling me false information. My car was sitting there for almost an entire year and came back with scratches all over the trunk which I can only assume was caused by tools being set there. I asked them to take for a test drive as I was worried about the steering and they said they would but never did resulting in my steering rack never being fixed and having to drive with no power steering and a wobbly car. I was told it would "fix itself" along with the TPMS sensors that also were never looked at resulting in a low tire pressure light always popping on.The painting that was done looked HORRENDOUS, I mean nothing but very obvious orange peel and they didn't even fully paint certain parts leaving the primer almost visible.Finally, when I go to trade in the car, the technicians tell me that there is extremely obvious frame damage to the car that was missed or just straight up ignored. The entire time my car was at scotties sitting there collecting dust and bird poop, it should've just been totaled out in the first place.Please save yourself the trouble, seriously, there are other places that will give you better results.Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Painting, Auto engine diagnostic, Body & Trim, Welding

I got five repairs done on my car for under $700. The customer service here was fantastic. I had been to another place earlier in the week and they quoted me $1,475 for four of the five repairs that I got done at Scotties. At Scotties I felt like I was not being ripped off and Brian the guy that I spoke with was completely genuine. I will definitely be backService: Steering & suspension repair

I went to Scotties Auto Body for a small scuff on my paint. They were very prompt, helpful, professional, and kind. I highly recommend Scotties Auto Body for any services you need. It's hard to find such good customer service these days, and Scotties Auto Body goes above an beyond. They earned a customer for any auto body repairs I need!Service: Body & Trim

I took my car here for a bumper replacement and although it took more than initially told, the front staff was more than kind and kept providing me with updates on how the progress was going. The bumper they initially got didn t fit and when sent back, the one they were given was damaged. After some waiting, they finally got the right bumper and were able to do an amazing job.The only reason I give it 4 stars is because I found some stains in my trunk that were not there before taking it for repairs, they are evidently paint stains. Although I don t mind, I found a stain on my driver side, it s clearly that they grabbed on to it with their fingers and didn t have the courtesy to tell me about it. Called and asked if they could press out a wheel bearing for me, and press in the new one. They said yeah we can do that. Alright cool. I asked "when is a good time to bring it in?" The guy on the phone said "you can bring it in and we can have it done by the end of the day" AWESOME. I asked how much would that run me? He said $50. YES!I dropped it off 30 minutes later. Never heard back from them by the end of the day like they said. Ok maybe it's taking a bit longer. I called the next morning, asking if it was ready. The guy said they hadn't even started working on it but that it would be ready by the end of the day. Hmmm ok.End of day 2 rolls around and my husband calls to see if it's ready. Yes it's ready. Okay well why didn't they call when it was ready to be picked up.Good work but terrible communication on their part. When Im told something can be done in a certain time, I expect it. Otherwise I'd just find another shop who can help me faster. I need my car for work and the sooner I can get it put back together, the better. Their customer service is just a little sketchy that's all.

Worst shop I ve ever been too, tried to repair my car through insurance but they kept saying the damage my car had wasn t from the same accident. So I would not recommend this shop to anyone. I just picked up my Nissan truck from them about an hour or so. Very happy with my truck and their service! One of the gentlemen gave me a ride back to work and got my vehicle done in a timely manner. They were very polite and everything well priced. I am very happy and will bring my truck here again in the very near future for work. Thank you so much!!

It was there for longer than I expected and I had to take the truck back. I doubt they tested the lock they replaced. And part of another job wasn't even done but at least I wasn't charged for that. The people were pleasant, but I won't be returning.

I'm very satisfied with the quality of work done. I'm even more impressed with the customer service. Cody was a huge help through the process and answered all my million and one questions. I have been raving about this place since I've gotten work done on my Honda S2000. I've received many compliments on the new top installation. It's a bit far from where I live but totally worth the trek across town. I'll be back with any additional needs. Definitely a best kept secret. You guys rock! Thank you. Not sure if I did an accurate enough job with the review with all the appreciation I feel.

Can't say enough good things about this business, in April I was in a car accident and they fixed all the body damage, and recently I drove through a huge pothole and had damage on two tired. I brought it to Les Schwab and they quoted me 2 new wheels, which was obvious due to the damage and the price on that was reasonable so I have them replace. Then they told me I needed new struts and shocks because they were leaking and a full alignment. at $650 on top of the wheels I already bought. They tried to pressure me saying it was a "safety" issue and things of that nature.I decided I wanted a second opinion and through of Scotties and how fair they treated me on the body work, and saw they also have an automotive repair right across the street.Brought it there they were great, looked at everything and fixed only what needed to be done. Total......$70...yep from $650 to $70. None of the parts LS claimed needed to be fixed were bad and after the alignment the car seems fine and I'll be taking it on a longer trip this weekend to test the repairs.Scotties could of told me the parts needed to be replaced or some of them and just quote me less and make a bunch of money off me and I wouldn't of known the difference. But they were quick, fair and honest. A great experience all around.

Took my car in to get a broken window replaced. Tony helped me out and was very helpful through the whole process. Job was done well and in a timely manner. Only complaint was that they initially quoted $300 for a new window replacement, then they told me it would be $325 because they claimed the job was a bit more difficult than anticipated. When I went to pick up the car they told me the price was $345 because removing the broken glass took even more time. I told the receptionist that the price was different than originally quoted and that they didn't even call me to let me know that it would take longer and would have cost more. They eventually did agree to charge me the old quoted price, but it felt like I had to haggle them to pay them what they originally asked for. They seemed like a decent shop to take my car, but that incident left me feeling like they were trying to nickle and dime me throughout the whole process. Is it really worth the extra few bucks to lose a potential repeat customer?

I had my hood repainted a year ago at this place. Next year the clear coat started to peal off the hood. I went back to check why this was happening and if they can fix it given the life time warranty that they guaranty. However, they denied any wrongdoing and blamed the pealing of the clear coat on a mysterious chemical damage that my car has never been exposed to. They did not stand by there life time warranty and did not fix their poor quality work. Very disappointing... I would advise to find another car repair place since this one does not own up to their mistakes and provide good customer service.Service: Body & Trim

Repairing my rear bumper on my Genesis sedan took a LOT longer than promised. They had to find a used part at a local junk yard and this process took an extremely long time and the employees did an awful job keeping me updated. Got the car back and it was FILTHY inside. And I mean really, really filthy. It's as if they ran out of time and said: "Oh screw it! The customer probably won't notice." Despite my continued reminders the repairs were not finished when promised (dates kept getting pushed back) and they literally handed me back my car late in the evening the day before I was going on a 1,000 mile road trip. I had to clean it (can't emphasize how awfully dirty the interior was) before my trip and it took me over 2 hours...time I had planned on packing and getting ready. It was that bad. Moreover, the paint job had a lot of orange peel and several spots that needed to be buffed out during subsequent visits. One of the panels on the bumper didn't match up with the body and it looks very shoddy. I believe the problem at this business is that the owner (a very nice woman) doesn't have the proper control of her male employees and they're the ones that made my experience so miserable. I will not come back here at all.

AMAZING! I cannot sing their praises enough. Brian was fantastic to work with, they are quick and thorough, and I will refer everyone I know to them! I took my car somewhere else before discovering Scotties- the other business was going to charge me over 3x as much! And they were nowhere near as friendly, helpful, and informative. Just go to Scotties- it is by far the best experience I have ever had!!!!

These guys did such a great job for me! I had a 12" scratch in my brand new car from my 8yo scraping her bike handle bars against the car in the driveway. It left a deep white gouge in the black paint. Ugh.They quoted me $70 to fix it and then charged me just $50 for the final work which looked amazing. You have to know the scratch was there to even find it now. It's almost invisible!Thanks guys./Spencer K Hunter/

They may have a good reputation with existing customers, but as far as attracting new customers, they need to put on a better face. I went there to discuss some upholstery repairs for my wife's car. The space I went into was a disaster, littered with dusty, dead and dying cars and car parts. No sense in talking with them for long. The man I spoke with was clearly uninterested in doing any more work than absolutely necessary. I would not recommend this business for someone that wants some caring TLC applied to their car. If I only had pictures.

The auto body shop was great and the upholstery shop helped my mom. But! The mechanic shop charged me $200 to fix my door. 2 months later same problem so i went to the auto body shop across the street, also Scotties, just to find out the mechanic freaking DUCT TAPED my door together and charged me $200..... Thanks! :(

I have been going to Scottie's for years. Not only do they do PERFECT body work that I never even bother to check, their upholstery shop put a new top on my convertible and did a remarkable repair on two of my cars leather seats. I trust them completely with my cars and that is saying a LOT! Soon I will be taking my g-son's truck seat in for upholstery. I told him that it would be perfect and it will be.

I recently purchased a 27-year-old Buick with only 38,000 miles but a sad, saggy headliner. Cody did an immaculate job of fabric-matching and replacing the headliner - The car now looks brand new inside. Scotties offers courteous and accommodating customer service, great prices, and high quality workmanship. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

It took 3 days longer than quoted to get auto body work done. It was good work but terrible communication. I had them do a tune up on my car. They improperly installed my spark plugs. I returned the car to have them fix it, they again were negligent and my car had the same issue. I endes up researching the issue and fizing it myself. On top of that the mechanic tried to sell me on a gasket on my car which was not needed and had nothing to do with what they did wrong . Terrible service on a simple service they don't care about truly helping you. Was sad to have an experience of someplace I regarded as one of the best mechanic shops in town. They are too busy to care anymore. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE

Great people Tony went above and beyond to assist in the repair of my wifes old Camaro alas the repairs exceeded the value, but they gave the vehicle back cleaner and in better condition than when the received her!No charges INS took the bill and I sincerely hope the crew made a profit for their outstanding service!Thanks again Tony & Team at Scottie's

So I had a minor accident, where person parking next to me in a parking lot drove over my open door on my 2002 Camry, which didn't causs any major harm but a misalignment between door and body. I would need to lift the door to close it properly.My insurance suggested collision shop give me quote of $1100, they wanted to change / paint everything.But at Scotties, I believe guy named Tony, he took one of his tools, aligned the door properly in 5 mins and that was it. For no cost.Scotties has definitely become my go to store for any body related issues.

Known the people at Scottie's Auto Body for 25 years and in all those years I have never been disappointed in their attitude their competency or their pricing. If they can't do something they are honest about it and if they can do something about it you will be amazed at what you get back when you go to pick up your vehicle simply wonderful
