Took my wife s car in for an oil change a few months ago and service was excellent, in and out in less than an hour. My alternator failed Monday morning. Called that day to see when I could get an appointment. They told me possibly Wednesday, but most likely Thursday. Asked if it was possible to drop off on Tuesday and have a loaner, they gladly obliged. They called me to see if I was okay w an additional charge for troubleshooting. My car was done before lunch on Wednesday.

I have a new to me VW that needed a new battery. Yes, I could have had a friend do this for me, but it was recommended that batteries be professionally installed.Precision got me in quickly , inspected the car, then called me back with the quote , along with a service recommendation for the car engine.The end result is my car not only starts up, it s running better. Their advice paid off for me, and I ll return to PIR for my vehicles in the future.Tracey was super nice, and I even got a loaner car!

As always my experience at Precision Import was exceptional. Tracy at the front desk was very helpful, and communicated well my service, costs, and expected time to complete the service. I was granted a loaner vehicle which permitted me to travel to work during business hours, and return for my car at the end of the day. 10/10 would visit again.

I came in with my 2020 Subaru after a check engine light came on that I wasn t able to address on my own. I was hoping for a diagnostic and quote to start.Service was great and we even got a loaner car for the day. When I came back at the end of the day they told me that the problem was not fixable by them with what Subaru specific tools they had, which was disappointing. I wanted to just get that engine light problem fixed so wasn t able to get this addressed but they were gracious and waived the diagnostic fee. I would recommend them to anyone but I d first recommend calling in to make sure they have what you need.

I called to get a quote on a brake job for my wife's BMW and spoke with Tracey. During this conversation with Tracey, I asked for two quotes - one for all four brakes and a separate one for just the front brakes - she provided both. After that conversation, I retrieved some paperwork from the BMW dealership that had recently measured the rear brake pads at 8mm and documented that they did not need to be replaced. With this information, I immediately called Tracey back and told her that I wished to replace only the front brakes. She agreed to order the parts and I made an appointment to drop the car off the following week. My wife dropped her car off on the morning we agreed upon, and exchanged quick pleasantries and car keys with the staff - she was not asked to sign anything confirming the work that was planned. Fast forward to pick up ... I received a call from my wife saying Precision Import Repair replaced all four brakes, making the total amount owed much greater than we expected. On this call, I told Tracey that this was not what we agreed on and referred back to the paperwork from the BMW dealership. Tracey was instantly argumentative and defensive, unwilling to take accountability for the obvious mistake. She refused to offer any accommodation or adjustment stating they would have to keep the car for three extra days to remove the rear brakes. They would not release the car without full payment for the work that we did not ask for. After 30+ minutes of dispute, my wife was extremely uncomfortable and did not trust Precision Import Repair to perform more work on the car. Furthermore, they appear to be filtering the customer reviews on their website, removing the negative comments and keeping the positive ones - highly suspect. In a world where savvy consumers lean heavily on internet research and customer reviews, imagine being a local small business deleting any negative feedback in order to deceive consumers in an attempt to make them feel comfortable believing you have only 5 star reviews. Be careful out there fellow consumer, don t be fooled.

Quick, reliable, and transparent service. The only place I trust to go for my auto maintenance and highly recommend these guys! You can tell they care about their customers and that reflects in the quality of work they provide and they are always happy to help provide context for everything they recommend doing. I ve been going to Precision for a few years and have had nothing but great experiences every time I need my car serviced. I brought my car in for front brakes which is what the BMW dealership told me I needed. They provided a quote for front as well as both and we agreed on front for now. They also found my battery to need replacing during the work and called to authorize this which I agreed to do but they never mentioned anything else about the brakes. When I picked the car up they said they did both front and rear brakes and claimed my husband agreed to that. I knew that wasn t the case because I was present for his phone conversations with them but I called him to confirm. He stated front brakes only. They argued with us and continued to say we agreed to both and the only options we were given was they would keep my car for 3 more days to remove the rear brakes or we had to pay for them. We ended up paying because I needed my car back and could not leave it for 3 more days nor did I feel comfortable allowing them to do more work on my car. This was really upsetting and I was extremely uncomfortable.

I recently had Precision Import Repair work on my Highlander, focusing on the brakes and rotors. I must say, I'm thoroughly impressed with their service. Other than there being something new popping up during my visit and then not informing me of the last new charge before arriving, it was a decent place to take a car too. Bottom line is if possible fix your car yourself!

Moved out to OR from the east coast and was due for my first service here. Was recommended by a friend to come here w my 4Runner. Can t say enough, incredibly friendly staff, great price, and it speaks volume when they automatically apply a discount for you. Will gladly let them handle all of my maintence needs in the future!

Great experience with this shop. Took our 2012 Honda Civic which was in need of some preventative maintenance. They performed the things that needed to be done and let us know the things that could wait. All for much less than the dealership. This was the first time coming to Precision. My 20+ year old Volvo had a small coolant leak somewhere. They gave me a fair estimate for the work plus they found something the last shop should have corrected. The work took some extra time because a part they got in was defective and they had to reorder. I had no problem with the extra time, I m glad they checked the quality of the parts. It was a good experience, the folks on the phone and at the desk are friendly. I ll be back.

Work was done quicker than I expected and they double checked before using provided oil that was different than manufacturer recommended weight. They didn t perform one requested service, which they said wasn t needed yet. I was aware it wasn t necessary, and would have preferred it be done, but in the majority of cases I think this was the correct thing to do so I m not upset at all.

I needed a new shop to do my auto work so I began reading reviews of places nearby before settling on Precision Import Repair. I set an appointment online which was quick and easy to do! They sent me a confirmation after I set it and again the day before the appointment. When I arrived they were ready and took my car in right away! The service was super friendly and professional and I felt right at home in their large comfortable waiting room! They had a variety of drinks and places to sit and the time passed quickly and before ya know it my car was ready! Super quick, super professional and affordable! Precision Import RepairI took my Kia to Precision Import for the first time this week. I'm so grateful I found them. They did an excellent job on my car and saved me money compared to the quote I received from another mechanic. And, when I picked up my car the final amount was actually less than expected! The waiting area looked inviting and comfortable when I walked in and was greeted by Tracey. Whenever I call, Eric answers the phone...he and Tracey have exceptional customer service...very friendly, professional, and helpful. As an added bonus, because I had to leave my car overnight...they offered me a free loaner car! They made everything painless and easy. If I could give them 10 Stars out of 5 I would do it. I am a customer for life...I know they will keep my car running smoothly for years to come! Been using precision import for about 15 years and have always been treated well. Never been any up selling. The additional work I've had done has always been fair if not better on pricing. I had the 60K service done with brakes.

Very professional and friendly. They fully explain what needs to be fixed and why. Took my suburban to a dealership since my check engine light was in. The Chevy dealership in Hillsboro charged me $200 to hook up the vehicle and find the issue. They said just drive it so you can out or burn off the gas and sludge that may be making the check engine light issue. I did that and the light remained on. Took it into these guys and repaired it and then some. Light off and running better then ever!Service: General repairs & maintenance
