Every year I elect to have Clays Auto run my DEQ test because I trust their expertise, customer care treatment, and accessibility. I recently move to another town and looked around for someone to service my traverse besides the dealer. I decided to drive all the way back to Clay's for on going service at a more reasonable price point since I am on a fixed income. Love these guys.

Amazing! First time conducting business with this auto service shop. What a great experience it was and I will definitely be returning! The manager, Reese, was awesome. He was kind, professional, explanatory and great fun to talk with. The shop, yard and offices were very clean and organized. I was impressed! They took great care of my Honda. Multiple previous shops could/would not find/repair a belt squeal - these guys diagnosed the vehicle within a short time and had that issue resolved. A previous shop had also caused an oil leak that was now caught and repaired. An inspection was completed to ensure the car components were in good, running condition and replaced anything needing replacing for my 150,000 maintenance. All in all, a fantastic experience and I definitely recommend.

Reese, at Clay s auto service was great! He was very kind and helpful through the entire process. He answered all my questions and went out of his way to help me. Reese was able to get my car in and fixed very quickly, while being cheaper than other shops! I highly recommend Clay s!

Clays is such a great auto shop! Reese is so helpful and welcoming, especially with someone who doesn t know much about cars. He walked me through all the maintenance needed, why it was needed, and what I should prioritize. Highly recommend them!

First time at Clays for regular service on my old car and a new battery. Reese explained how they operate, what to expect, when they'll contact me and how -- email, phone, text, asking my preferences.Just as they said, I was contacted with the results of their inspection and recommendations, and approval before proceeding with any additional work. Fortunately no big surprises for my old car this time, and pricing was in-line with the original estimate. So overall a good first visit to Clays, and while you hope to never need a good auto service place too often, we plan to use Clays again for regular car work.

I had the pleasure of working with Reece and Jeremy on an older Hyundai Tuscan from 2007. To no fault of their own, they helped resolve a situation with my serpentine belt that required creativity and a lot of patience. I cant thank them and the tech team enough for helping with giving me a reasonable price for a complex order on a rarely done technical repair. These guys know what they are doing and I'm very appreciative I was recommended to them!

Clay's Auto Service did a great job servicing my car. Explained everything upfront and went over the results. If you're looking for a place to service your car, I recommend Clay's.

I travel out of my neighborhood to take my car to Clay s because of their honest and efficient work. I can trust their advice because they take into account my best interests. And, today s repair was no different.I recently called Reese when my car wouldn t start and stranded me in Vancouver, Washington. I was able to get help because of his advice. It turned out to be a battery gone bad that AAA had installed a couple of years ago.The guys at Clay s Auto Service are good guys!

Reese and his team did a great job fixing my 2009 Subaru Outback. The Check Engine, ABS and Traction Control warning lights would not go away. I tried everything I could think of to fix it with no success. I took it to Clay's and they got everything put right at a very reasonable price!Service: Auto maintenanceService: Auto maintenance

Nice auto shop. Well mannered and well spoken. Did the job well. Attentive to detail and estimate was quite close to actual expense.

Greg and Reese are some of the best guys around. I ve been going to Clay s for about 1.5-2 years and Greg is always so kind and straightforward with what my car needs and how my car is doing. Reese recently helped me navigate my car needing a new alternator, and was able to get my car fixed and back to me. Everyone there is very helpful and friendly. If you need a ride to work or back home after taking your car in, they. can drive you there with their complimentary shuttle. They ll take care of your car and you.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

I just wanted to share my experience with Clay's Auto Service. I've been taking my car there for over a year now and I gotta say, I'm really happy with their service. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable, they always explain what they're doing and why, which I really appreciate. What I love most about them is how much they care about their customers. They take responsibility for any mistakes and make things right, which is something you don't always see in this industry. It's clear that they really value their customers and want them to have a good experience.Overall, I'm really grateful for Clay's Auto Service and I trust them completely with my Jeep. If you're in need of a reliable and customer-oriented auto shop, I highly recommend them.

This review is for DEQ only. They did not tell me that their $20 charge is additional to the $25 you have to spend for actual certification, which you can get at any DEQ location. If they re not up front about this. I wouldn t trust them for any other service!

Couldn't get this place to respect me as much as a man if I tried.I have gone in twice over the past 3 months. Both times they kept my car a full week and both times my check engine light comes on not even 2 weeks later.Update: They had us buy a new battery and alternator and my car broke down not even a week later. This place is a scam. Save your money.

Clayton's ripped me off in 2018 by tricking me into handing over my car title and then trying to sell it back to me after they fixed the parts on it for a price they did not disclose originally. I will never forgive them.Services: Transmission, General repairs & maintenanceServices: Transmission, General repairs & maintenance

Everyone at Clays Auto is always so nice and helpful. They do such a thorough job on diagnostics and don t cram their services down your throat. If they believe something can be fixed on your own, they suggest that to help you save! Not only that, they re incredibly quick even when they say they have a busy schedule. Everyone there is hardworking and trustworthy that we ve never had a problem with them in all our years of using them. My family and I don t go anywhere else!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I've taken my cars to Clays Auto for over 15 years, and each visit was a great experience. One morning this week, I had a dead battery that needed jumping. After I got it started, I drove to Clays, where they tested the 4 year old battery that had a 5 year warranty, and replaced it for free. I miss seeing Beth, Clay and the official office dog, but am happy that the company and service goes on.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I have trusted Clay's with my car since around 2005, with three different Subarus during that time, so it is impossible to list all of the services they have performed to keep my car going. Always easy to work with, they make great recommendations and do good work.Services: Tire rotations, Oil changeServices: Tire rotations, Oil change

We keep coming back for a reason. When you find a shop that is professional, personable, reliable, ethical, and honorable--one that goes above and beyond all the time, you stick with them.We had a 2011 Escape in for oil change, investigate oil leak, and to look a the brakes (starting to make a noise.) They dealt with all of it, including working with us as repeat customers. They even re-seated a headlight lamp in our MB e-350 just because it needed it.We'll be back.======They are our go-to shop.First business was in 2020. We had a 2009 Mazda Tribute with lots of issues. They told us to junk it, and we did. It's rare to find a shop that will tell you straight up that an older car isn't worth trying to save. Very clean. Very professional. Kept me abreast of activity. I decided then use them for other cars in the future.Next was a 2012 Ford Escape that we purchased used to replace the Tribute. Needed front brake replacement, and a transmission flush from a flawed flush at a "zippy" place. Had a strange noise about a week later. Minor problem with left front brake. They handled it as warranty (it was) with no hassles. In the summer of 2021, our 1995 Chevy Silverado needed its clutch replaced. Ouch. Clays did that and more. It runs great now. We should get another ten or fifteen years out of that workhorse.October 2021, time for plugs, wipers, and and oil change on the Escape. Be prepared to pay for lots of labor on the plugs. Well worth it though. Once again, superlative service, on time, as estimated. One item of note; if you have a Euro car you really should stick to the shops that specialize in those. Clay's is reluctant to deal with them.Services: Transmission, Tires, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Battery, Oil change

Very unprofessional and fraud. They use cheap parts and after market parts and claim they are original. Very disrespectful and I feel threatened talking to these people. I don't trust these people and please don't leave your car with them. They put defect parts in my car and also caused external damage to the car by spraying some chemical glue. I want to take this up legally. Full of lies and deception. I don't want to believe that this happened to me on racial bias but I am concerned about my safety. I made a mistake not going to the dealership. One small mistake and it is causing so much pain.PLEASE AVOID this auto shop. This is not worth your time and money.

My check brake light kept coming on repeatedly. I took it to Les Schwab who could not find an issue, and to the dealership (Ron Tonkin Kia) and they could not find an issue. Clay's team was able to very quickly find the very obvious problem and fixed it within a few hours of drop off. Highly recommend.Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

I have relied on Clay's to service our vehicles since 2003. I was assured from the first phone conversation in which Beth took time to answer an abundance of questions with professional confidence, expertise and genuine caring. Over the years their business has grown and expanded and I have yet to experience anything different. They have gone out of their way to accommodate us with critical repairs and helped us to get where we needed to be during that time. Concierge level care, quality service, always in a timely manner, knowledgeable and always friendly. I would recommend to anyone and I do when given the chance!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair

I LOVE working with Clays. they did some maintenance on my car and they were very detailed in explaining the costs for all the repairs. there were no hidden fees, they explained upfront what all the repairs would be PLUS the cost of each. This level of professionalism and honesty Is what should be standard. Ive had my subaru repaired here before and each time they've done a marvelous job. I have zero complaints. Their timely service coupled with their excellent works makes them my Go-to for any sort of repairs. definitely recommend.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Exhaust, Steering & suspension repair
