Great Shop. Patient with me and the warranty company I have.Even tho their job was to replace my 4x4 transmission, they noticed I needed breaks. After alerting me to the fact and I approved the work, they saved me from a second auto juggling act.I definitely recommend Pioneer Transmission Service!They are keeping me ready to go on the next adventure...and make it back.

Absolutely amazing service! They were more than happy to help out with taking my truck for a test drive, and went over the possible causes for the symptoms I had been experiencing with it, and even explained the ways to repair the issue for each option, even if it was something that I was obviously going to do myself. The icing on the cake was that he didn't charge a penny for the time and information he provided. If I ever need to take my truck to a shop again, it's only going to be to Pioneer!

Did a good job installing a rebuilt transmission. Forgot to install the support for the exhaust and it rattled. I returned immediately when I picked up the vehicle, he took for a test drive and said the noise wouldn t be from the work he did. It rattled for a month or two before I looked underneath and fixed myself.Really disappointed in price. Quoted a price and left the vehicle based on quote. About a week later he called and said it would be an even $1,000.00 more. Not $948 or $1034 but a even 1,0000. Typically a sign no calculating an estimate was done but just throwing a number at it. Vehicle was disassembled making it difficult to go anywhere else. Stuck and was taken advantage of.Would not recommend this shop

Not a dependable transmission shop. Cannot even track their own repairs and paperwork through a system they have in place. Will create a headache for any of their warranty work. Will also ask customer to track down where parts were purchased from for the repair. $5000 for a stock 6L80E . Take your money to RPM Service and Repair instead, they will take care of you right. Years in business does not equal competence in doing quality work.

Had a transmission code so we took my 99 Taurus to Pioneer to get diagnosed and repaired. Turned out not to be the transmission at all, just a minor issue. They didn't even charge us which was incredibly nice. They could have easily lied and charged for an extremely expensive repair but were honest and saved us thousands. Thank you guy's so much. I will be bringing my vehicles to your shop for any future transmission needs. Would 100% recommend your shop to anyone!Service: Transmission

Called about my Chevy traverse. They were very helpful and explained they don't do transmission jobs on the traverse and explained why. They were honest and knowledgeable.

After waiting for FIVE HOURS for a diagnosis at the dealership where we purchased our car, we were quoted $1,700 for needing all new cabling to fix the rear differential. Pioneer transmission saw us same day, we were in and out. It was a bent prong on one of the plugs. They didn't charge us for looking at it or fixing it. So thankful for them!!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

My son dropped of his car there. The gentleman helping him was very respectful an made one feel comfortable. They evaluated the issue within a few hrs. He (my son) was very pleased with them. I recommend this place to everyone!!

Always great service and reasonable prices on transmission work. Had a small job that needed to be done at the end of his work day. He promptly pulled out a truck and did it no problem. Then he didn't even charge me!He done excellent work on my 69 Camaro transmission and he was really reasonable to boot.

Met with Mark the owner the day before to schedule an appointment and ask him do handle a few other tasks on my truck besides the transmission and he said NO PROBLEM! I showed up the next day and the truck was done within a few hours! Professional, Courteous, Well Kept Shop. I highly recommend them!

My transmission on my truck broke down near Hermiston while towing a travel trailer with my family on the 4th of July holiday week. I was put in touch with Mark at Pioneer on Wednesday morning, July 5 so it was a short business week to begin with. I made him aware of my situation and he said yes, get the truck here and he'd rearrange his schedule a bit to get me back on the road. He tore into it Thursday morning, and called me Thursday afternoon with diagnosis and options. Knowing that my 2000 Super Duty was my tow vehicle, one of the options was a stronger-than-factory rebuild. I went with that option and it was right around the price I was expecting before going in. I know that a person away from home and stranded can make an easy target, but Mark is a stand up guy. He gave me his word he'd have my truck back to me by Friday afternnoon, and he delivered. My truck tows great and trans feels solid. I cannot thank him enough. My family and I were able to salvage the rest of our vacation.

This is the go to transmission shop!!! Mike and Mark are top notch mechanics and rebuilt my transmission with quality parts. Super satisfied and would recommend to everyone!! Thanks guys, worth the drive from the Tri-Cities.

I had a transmission and transfer case rebuilt for my 1975 Scout II. The guys worked with me on my project and stood behind their work 110%. There was no "warranty" written by a lawyer, they simply stood behind it...the way a home town shop is supposed to work. Can't recommend them enough. A+

These guys are just awesome, If I buy a used car I can bet it's going to have transmission issues. 4 cars later I still recommend these guys. If something goes wrong I would bet money that it's a bad part and not their fault. Prices are reasonable and service is great.

I called Mark to scan my codes for transmission. When I came in he took me immediately and scanned for codes, test drove my truck, counseled me and then to top things he would not allow me to pay him. That is very unusual in this business. I was not a friend but a total stranger.

I can't speak highly enough of this company. We had just begun a cross-country drive in a 40-year old Volvo when we heard some bad noises. It was early Tuesday morning, in the rain and they took us immediately, fixed us up and refused payment. If I lived closer (I'm on the East coast), I'd be a return customer for sure.
