We have been customers for years. They run a great shuttle service, they make the Hells Canyon float much easier. Reasonable cost for the shuttle service, always on time. Friendly folks. Very knowledgeable and trustworthy. We'll use them at every opportunity.

The best and most reliable shuttle service around! Easy to work with. Clear and straightforward communication. Reliable and safe vehicle delivery. I've used them to shuttle trucks, cars, and trailers for Hell's Canyon rafting trips multiple times, and never had any issues.What some people may be misinterpreting as rudeness, is probably just not being used to straightforwardness. Shuttles are rife with opportunities for miscommunication and issues. If there is something that might be a potential issue, I will always prefer to be told up front and deal with it right away than wait until something is wrong at the boat ramp to find out we weren't on the same page.

Diana was awesome! Really helped set a fun tone for the coming trip. Quickly and professionally took care of the shuttle details and sent us on our way. Vehicles were at the appointed place and at the appointed time with no issues whatsoever. One of the best shuttle companies I ve used. Highly recommend and will definitely use again!

We stopped in for fuel after seeing the beautiful Hell's Canyon overlooks and encountered the most bizarre customer service experience of my life. Simple, genuine questions or conversation caused the harshest responses, ex: "Is the ice cream homemade (because it appeared to be)?". It was so bizarre that I thought she was joking initially. One of her final comments was that she had cameras??? She then touts that she knows what she is doing and has been in business for 30 years. These were unprovoked comments causing a few of the guys to look at each other in confusion. We were simply fueling our bikes and trying to enjoy the homemade(?) ice cream. This lady was completely unhinged and not fit to be in a customer centric role and ruined a potentially awesome little store.

What an excellent store just outside Oxbow.Very clean and carries all the necessities... Butter, beer, ... And an amazing assortment of fishing tackle and rods. The owner is so helpful and nice!

The lady sitting on the phone was rude the moment we walked in. We inquired about fishing licenses. She said, their online. Didn't move, didn't get off the phone. I was planning to grab some more tackle & snacks. She literally said you can do that in your car, so I walked out. I'll deal with what I got. .

Food was absolutely amazing. Fresh, and the potato chips were amazing, thin crispy and cooked to order. I ordered the fish sandwich and it was cooked to perfection, crispy and juicy.

Nicest guy ever! They were closed when we pulled in. I was dehydrated. He let me and my husband grab some water, visited with us for a bit. He went above and way beyond! !Thank you!!@

Love this place. They have a little bit of everything. Went there to visit and was able to get my Oregon fishing License. First time ever being in there and sh was just a hoot! She is my favorite person to see when I forget something while camping because she is just real. There is no hiding who she is. Plus has been running the store for over 30 years now, has a successful shuttle company. All local drivers who have been doing it for a while. Always leaves the vehicles cleaned, topped off and ready for the trip home. Have only bumped into them once or twice after our trips, and they are all wonderful. Very polite, happy, honest and an all around good group of people. Plus getting the shuttle arranged is really such a breeze. Scottys is and can be a great place to make that quick stop, or arrange a shuttle for the rafting trips.Thank you Scottys!

Used Scottys/HCS shuttle service. My trailer wheel (hub and all) blew off my trailer and trundled into the river before I made it to the put in. I stacked boats on another truck to make the put-in but had no cell service and I never got in touch with HCS. Just left my trailer on the side of the road to deal with it post take-out. HCS found my trailer, replaced the wheel and hub and had it waiting for me at the takeout, right on schedule. They also changed a flat on my truck and fronted some gas cause I forgot to top off. Absolute heroes. Amazing service. Will 100% use them for any Hells trip I ever do again.

First off the beer selection at Scotty's is dang good leave some room for a few 6 packs in the coolers, second off thanks for the awesome shuttle service, one of our cars got a flat on the way in at the bottom of the Pittsburgh side of the hill. They changed the flat and had it ready for us on the way back up with a note of what happened. I really appreciate it and can't wait till the next float.

This place has the stuff you need for your adventure and an incredibly convenient location. They've shuttled our cars six times for hells canyon and the cars always show up in good shape. Just be polite and considerate and they will be nice back. They get tons of groups in and can get flustered sometimes, but don't stress it, they really are nice people! Thanks Diana for all the help getting us set up for our trip! I say ignore the negative reviews and give this place a shot.

Scotty s was extremely knowledgeable about the river, the rapids and what to expect. At the end of our trip we had truck issues, and they were unbelievably helpful and supportive. Phone service is spotty at takeout, so they provided unlimited support to find the help we needed. We are so grateful for their business and customer support.

We used Hells Canyon Shuttle for our rafting trip. The lady that we dealt with at Scotty's was beyond rude. It was honestly bizarre. Her initial rudeness and hostility transitioned into threats and insults. I've never had such an odd experience with a stranger, let alone someone who is servicing me as their customer. I will never never visit this store again, or use their shuttle service. Hopefully I can save my friends in the boating community, and anyone reading this, from a similar experience.

The only folks I use for shuttle down hells canyon. Have been using them for close to 10 years with no issues usually twice a year. I would definitely recommend them for your next shuttle down the river. They have the best block ice that you can buy and always fully stocked.

I wouldn't expect much from a shuttle service I mean you don't really expect much other than getting your vehicle moved down river. I've used many shuttle services and fortunately have never had any nightmare stories from any of them.However I was so pleased with Diana her store and crew. Diana was so nice and was very agreeable with our shuttle which was a bit more complex as one vehicle was left at a different location. Diana also offered her stores back yard for us to camp in as we were getting in late the night before. The following morning she offered free coffee (good coffee). The store and grounds were emacalate and exceptionally clean.Glad to take the time to post this as Diana went so far and above than what was expected.

The lady that waited on us was absolutely, THE rudest person I have ever had a retail experience with. I will drive the extra 20 or 30 miles to another store in either Halfway or the Hell's Canyon store before I will EVER go back there again. I have no agenda here folks, and I'm not exaggerating. It's very clear why there parking lot is empty. If it allowed zero stars for these reviews, then that's what I would be giving. 1 star is 1 too many for this place.

Very rude person either the owner or employee. Went to purchase a fishing license. No other people in the store at that time. We were told we were in their way. Maybe things have changed but I assumed the store would get a kickback from the state. Also thought we would get a paper version of the license. Absolutely no help from her and we were asked to go outside. I have worked retail all my working life. If my boss heard me tell a customer they were in my way I would be severely reprimanded or fired.

I ve been hiring Scotty s shuttle service for 20 years. Diana has always been great to work with. They always have real ice blocks. I place them at the top of professionalism and trust. Always on time. Team Scott is simply the Best!

This place is in an excellent and nice location Well kept but never open! Drove 20 miles to buy boat fuel and when I got there it was 6:50 pm on Saturday and the electronic reader board was saying there hours are 6am to 8pm. There's no way to buy fuel without them being open. What a joke 40 miles round trip for nothing. Second time this has happened to me! The other to time I stopped and walked in and the lady yells were closed even though it was 10:30 am and the door was propped open.

Terrible customer service. We stopped for ice cream. Guy acted like we were a huge inconvenience. He needs a sugar cone dispenser so he doesn't have to waste gloves but I suspect that still wouldn't improve his disposition. When I was leaving some other customers were coming in so I left the door open for them and he was actually yelling after me, "Are you planning on closing the door?!?" Terrible experience at the end of our wonderful weekend.

Owner was a hoot. We stopped to fuel up both our bikes and ourselves in early October . Business was slow so the newish owner came out after we paid to shoot the s**t with us. He has lots of good stories of encounters with "pampered" visitors and some good work stories. We were riding from northern Canada to Puerto Vallarta and this was one of our many memorable stops.When you stop by be sure to give the owner a big hug as he said that really makes his day (that and people asking for milk!).

If you believe in treating others with respect, and dislike discrimination, absolutely avoid this place. We stopped looking for food on a cross country bike trip in May 2014. A woman immediately came out, told us they had absolutely nothing in the store and were "renovating." She told us to go to the bar next door (which is a great place), and when we tried to put our bikes on the side of the wall, she yelled at us that "you people" don't care about anyone else. Also called us "treehuggers" for some unknown reason. When we were leaving, a couple on motorcycles pulled up, and she ushered them right into the store. We saw chips, drinks, and other food from the outside. I'm not sure why exactly she discriminated against us, but she did, and was the rudest, impolite, hateful person I can recall meeting. Avoid this place!

Great place to stop and get every last item you need before a trip. I walked in and was welcomed, we paid for shuttles and had a pleasant conversation with the owners. They have blocked ice, beer, and everything else you need.

Incredible service and friendly spot.Was camping with my family and we had forgotten some items. Thank goodness this place was here! Scotty was one of the friendliest guys, struck up a great conversation with him! The store is well stocked and I was even able to find flip flops for me wife, who had lost hers.

Got an immediate bad vibe from this place. No public restrooms, no public wifi, and seemingly no customer service experience. When we tried to buy ice cream, we wished we hadn't bothered. Biking past the restaurant next door, we wished we had skipped Scotty's altogether and just gone there instead!
