Did a pre-purchase inspection for a 2016 Ford Edge Titanium to avoid buying a lemon. Jnr offered to inspect it - FOR FREE!!! Hooked up his scanning tool and took it for a test drive. Gave me good advise about the vehicle and how to prepare for the future. This business deserves its strong reputation and reviews! Highly recommend to all and can get good help I'll be happy about.

I have a 2018 Silverado with a 6L80 that these guys rebuilt. Junior quoted me on the phone, surpassed all my expectations of timelines and even went above and beyond by also getting my truck tuned.She runs like a top. My truck was clean just as I left it and communication was great.Places like these still exist folks, give them your hard earned cash vs large conglomerates!I will be recommending this shop to anyone that needs transmission work.

I called them to get a quote on a transmission rebuild. He asked me my year make and model and asked me what happened. I told him what happened and then he told me that I blew my car up because I didn t let the clutch out fully when I was shifting, and he was just extremely disrespectful over the phone. I don t even understand how you can diagnose the transmission over the phone but yeah, I would highly recommend going somewhere else.

Really honest and ethical, offer the best warranty in the area and are reasonably priced. They're good too!My truck had weird issues and they worked hard to run down the problem and didn't give up until it worked fantastically!I always recommend them

I can t say enough good about this place. They rebuilt the transmission in my 53 Chevy. The cost, the service and the care are above and beyond. As a woman I am constantly talked down to by mechanics and this guy spoke to me like a friend. He sent me off with a list of things to watch for in the future that he saw while working on my truck. I had to take my Kia to check and see if my transmission as having any issues. Everyone here was really nice and kind. They answered all my questions, and they even helped me figure out what was going on with my car. Even it was something they couldn t help me with. I would recommend them to anyone.

The only repair shop in the area that offered a 2 year warranty on rebuilds for me. The rebuild behaved just like the original in all respects. "Junior" was always helpful with scheduling and explained thoroughly what had failed in the transmission and what was going to be done. Brought my 2000 Ford Excursion 4r100 in and they had it rebuilt faster than expected. Everything works wonderfully now and I couldn't be happier.Update: A year later random transmission failure, and this shop stood by their work and warranty and got me back on the road. No hassles, no BS. Extremely satisfied customer.

I have a 2007 dodge 2500 5.9 Cummins. I took it to junior and his crew and not only they were fast getting my truck done but the quality is perfect. My transmission torque converter was locking up and they got it done in 3 days. I ve been running my edge tuner on performance and I m still getting 33.3 mpg. Shifts like butter. These guys are the best in the area. They replaced some bad bearings in my 87 Toy 4x4, replaced my clutch and did an excellent job. They even gave me a ride back home and picked me up when it was finished. They know transmissions and they are honest. They only sell you what you need. I read the other positive reviews and took a chance and was not disappointed. Highly recommended.

Excellent experience! Just had a clutch (clutch flywheel pressure plate slave cylinder) replacement on 95 z28- & fixed reverse gear as it kept popping out, the car drives like new, no clutch chatter, reverse is smooth.... the guys have been around a long time, know their stuff n don't Mess around. The price was fair, even better than expected and I will go there again w/any of cars should I need transmission or clutch service. Highly recommend!!!! thanks

Great guys they work very quickly and no bs. Got quotes from other transmission shops and didn't get near the value or speed of Gresham. One wanted $10,000 for a rebuild which was insane for a 2001 Ford. Great job overall.

Omg, this place is great! We were going to be stranded in Portland because of vehicle problems. We got it to this place. They fixed it quickly and had us on our way. Customer service was outstanding!!!!

I Had them rebuild the 4l60e in my 4x4 s10, they had it done in no time and I couldn't be happier. The price was more than fair and with a 24 month/24,000 mile warranty how can you lose! Will do business with them again.

If you appreciate brutal honesty and knowledgeable transmission mechanics then this is the place to go. The price was right and after asking several local businesses in Gresham about this place I heard nothing but great things to give me the confidence I needed have my trans work done at this shop. I gave them my new 2017 STI with over 20k in modification upgrades and they did exactly what they said they would and were respectful doing it. I would recommend any family or friends to Gresham Transmission based on my experience with them. Thx Gresham transmission

These guys are professional and know what they are doing. Had an ongoing issue with the 5 speed in my cherokee. After taking it to two different places these guys diagnosed it (was not bled correctly) and fixed it super quick, even without an appointment.Best part, they did not charge me!! I was blown away and will be taking any future tranny issues to these guys.

These guys are the real deal! I took my truck to a dealership and after a month of being ignored, I towed my truck to Gresham Transmission on a Friday and got it back on Tuesday! They also did the work for half the cost than the other shop. Don t waste your money elsewhere, take your vehicle here!

I have been coming to Gresham Trans since 1992. I have never had any problem with the work done here. the team at GT have become friends and I never have to worry about getting the job done wrong, they always do a great job.

Didn't fix the problem with my daily week of no car for work transmission was grinding when I let off the gas stopped when I put in the clutch. They said car was grinding when u change gears never had that problem
