First time last year at this location was a good experience. Specific tires in stock, installed quick and on my way.This visit however, no attention to detail and poor work. Wheels left dirty from tire install, tires left with covered in white haze, weights installed so far out that they're not even on the flat of the wheel and poke out the front (silver weights on black wheels), one of the valve stems is loose (why would you even mess with the valve stems on a brand new car??), and I explicitly asked for psi to be set to 29 lbs as recommended for this very light car and even still it was intentionally returned to me 38 on the driver's side, 32 on the passenger side "so when winter comes it'll be about right." I did not ask for your opinion and you did not do what was requested of you, not even the same pressure stone the car.This is just unacceptable all the way around .

Came in last week for a set of 4 tires. I had called ahead with the specific tires I wanted, they were not in stock at the store. So, we setup an appointment for the next day. Their Portland warehouse had a hiccup and turns out they did not have the tires, had to be shipped in from Washington, which delayed things by another day.But, throughout, the staff communicated with me effectively and courteously well before my appointment time.As I was pulling in for my appointment, I ran over something that punched a hole not only in one of the tires, but through the wheel itself!Didn't realize it had gone through the wheel, once the wheels came off they had to inform me of the bad news. Went ahead and mounted the new tire on my full size spare wheel, which is steel and not a matching aluminum wheel.They were nice enough to put the loose tire that was originally mounted to the spare wheel back in the car along with the wheel. I snapped this photo of the wheel and just asked if they would dispose of it for me, which they did.I went out and found a matching used wheel myself and brought the car back today, fully expecting to pay for mounting and balancing 2 more tires to dismount the tire from the spare wheel, swap it to the replacement wheel, and mount the loose tire that was my original spare back on the steel wheel.But no, it was done at no charge!Pleasant surprises like that keep me coming back to give them more business for sure.

Bunch of hard working young guys in this shop. We've been there several times and every time the service is solid and they're quick. Just there today to fix a flat on our Prius and an employee was kneeling near an elderly lady explaining the issues with her tires and he was so patient.Our flat was fixed for free because we've bought tires there for our other cars but the Prius tires weren't even theirs. Didn't think I'd take time out of my evening to give a tire shop five stars but here we are.

Customer service at this location is fantastic. Jakob checked me in immediately when I arrived, called the service department, and got my car right in. Approximately twenty minutes later, my car was ready to go. I was very impressed with all of the employees I encountered, and especially with Jakob. I will be a repeat customer for certain.

I had a good experience 7 years ago when using another location. Wanted a particular tire recommended by Consumer Reports. Called and they said they had it. Said I d call back before I came. Called about 3 p.m. and again told them I was on the way. When I arrived, they checked and said they had the tires. Told me it would be about two hours (which they also said on the phone). After 2 hours, I could see my car had not moved and i would check in with the staff. A friendly guy would give me an optimistic view and a less friendly guy would explain I had 12, then 5, then 2 ahead of me. Finally. after 7 p.m., I am told they could only find 3 tires so they put on another size (225 instead of 215). They never asked if that was ok. Told me it would be fine but my mechanic says no and my car s manual lists the smaller size I recommended. I drove home and called the next day to complain. They said they d call back. I called them an hour later. The manager who I d spoken to said he was going to call back after locating the tires. The other person who had answered the phone recommended I just drive down again that they had them. Nope! I was not coming back until I was sure I d get what I ordered and paid for. P.S. separate issue, but I saw children under age 10 running into the garage area which seemed unsafe to me. I m back today to get my tires. Hope it goes well. UPDATE: Cody made sure I got the right tires and it took less than an hour. Waived my labor charges. Cody understood why transparency is important. Thank you, Cody!

I usually don t write reviews, if I didn t like the service I simply never come again and let it go. However, today was the worst customer experience I ever had. So I went to the store at Gresham,OR and it was a nightmare starting with (Jake) the salesperson who was mainly focusing on cross sales anything and everything they have instead of actually getting the job done. So I went to buy 2 new tires since I have another pair and I asked him to dispose two and keep the rest which is 3 tires and he agreed on after he inspected the tires and never mentioned any problems. And also I needed to install 4 TPMS with the tires which I got it from NAPA Auto and again he never said any comments. After a couple of hours the technician (Steven) and another young man came out and told me that my car is ready and giving me only one tire instead of 3, and when I asked they said they were too old and I cannot use them according to DOT regulations as I m driving kenworth truck not a Fj cruiser. And when I told him that there is no such a thing he said no it s a law and it s illegal to have them on any car. So when I insisted to get them back they kept going back and forth and they said they can t locate them P.s : they are 2 BF Goodrich tires with minimum 6/32 tread worth easy $80. Secondly when I asked if they did calibrate the TPMSs they said ooh sorry we can t do it as they are only 4 new and I need to get a new one for the spare tire which s $57 after my military discount so I did pay to get this nightmare over. And they said it will take another hour or so to get it done Hence the vehicle was still inside the bay. Anyway I said alright let s get it done. 1 hour after the same technician came to me and said ooh sorry we couldn t calibrate the TPMSs as they programmable and we don t have the tool for it. So I said you just figured it out NOW so he said yeah we put them on but we can t calibrate it and I have to go back to Toyota dealer or NAPA to fix it for me. So almost 5 hours waisted and they lost my two tires and didn t fix the TPMSs aside of the inconvenience. So I have decided to file a complaint with the corporate office in Scottsdale,AZ and I ll take my business elsewhere. Thanks

I went with my daughter to help her buy tires after going into Discount Tires for a slow leak and being told she had a blown sidewall. They gave us a quote for 4 tires as she has a Subaru. We got a second quote from Les Schwab that came in cheaper so we had them do it. They called us to say there was a nail in the middle of the tread and why she wanted to replace all 4 tires. After explaining that she was told by Discount Tires she needed them replaced because of the blown sidewall, Les Schwab said it was in good shape, fixed the flat for free and sent us on our way. This is either gross incompetence by Discount Tires, or they were taking advantage of a woman in need. Either one is unacceptable.

Everytime I visit this location I leave happy and feel well taken care of. I used to work at a body shop and discount tire was our go to, so I eventually started using them for my personal car.It s funny the review about hot ladies or whatever. Sure, young dudes work there so I m sure they re happy to see a pretty girl, but even if I m with my husband I get the same treatment as when I m there solo. Also when my husband goes here he gets treated great every single time. Maybe that person just gave off bad vibesWait times are normal, no longer or shorter than usual. The customer service is top tier, the guys working are always personable and make great conversation. The location is clean.Prices are fair and they re upfront and honest, no bait and switch, they ll sometimes ask if you need something done and if you say no, there s no pushback. Im thankful they ask, because for example tonight, I was asked if my wipers had been replaced since I bought the car (over a year ago) and they hadn t been replaced yet but needed to so I said yes please!Overall, this is my favorite place to go.

After a blowout, I had to have two tires replaced. They were able to find two that matched the ones I was keeping. But they overinflated all 4 tires by over 5 psi. Luckily the alignment shop caught it. I liked it better when it was America's Tire - my family was treated well there then.

If I was a hot young female I would probably get my tires free. I definitely would not have to wait. Even time I've been here it has happened. An attractive young woman has walked in and been taken care of immediately! In & out in less than 20 min. Very unprofessional.

We drove down from Seattle and they gladly accommodated us! All the employees here RADIATE KINDNESS, they all have such beautiful smiles and are courteous. They are professionals from the folks at the front desk, to all the staff who work on the cars. They are knowledgeable and do a fantastic job!I highly highly recommend them if you have any tire needs. Thank you for taking such good care of us!

Unfortunately, I had to buy tires at another shop due to Discount not having my size available. That place was a horrible experience. I had to swing by here to get new lug nuts for my wheels and it was like night and day. Joshua was quick, polite, and effective. Customer service is clearly their priority. Next time I need tires I'll wait until they can get them. It will be worth it

Showed up after closing (almost 8:30) and noticed employees were still in, so I went in to let them know I d need to leave my car overnight and return in the morning to replace my tires. $27 for a warranty and 20 minutes later I m driving away with brand new tires. Thank you so much to Kody, Nick, Christian, and the rest of the team for making my night 100x less stressful!

Excellent service. Friendly staff. Quick turn around even without an appointment. Online tracking of progress so you can hang out someplace else and know when your car is ready. And the price matching is a huge selling point.

Excellent service, whole team was friendly and helpful, store closes at 6 pm and they kept taking customer's all the way till 6pm. Cody was the tech that helped me and he was very knowledgeable and professional as well as friendly. I've always been a les scwab person, but this experience changed my opinion. Thank you all.

I've bought 4 sets of tires here. 2 sets I utilized the price match guarantee and got a great deal. This last visit I had the tires installed in house. I showed up early for the appointment I scheduled online and was taken care of quickly. I was given an ETA of 1hr and my vehicle was returned to me in less than that. The staff are friendly and the waiting area is clean. Bathroom is open to customers. The only thing I can't weigh in on yet is the protection plan. However I've heard and researched that it's a great deal. 10/10 would recommend

When an associate was checking tires I had brought in to see if they could be serviced, he ripped open the tire bags I had on them without asking, when he could have easily untied them. They could not service them because they were too old which I understand.On a separate note, I had ordered new wheels I wanted swapped out with my current wheels. I was told it would be a 3 hour wait. So I waited in the lobby. It ended up taking 4 hours 45 minutes. When they were finally done and I was leaving, I checked my old wheels and found that they had not put my old lug nuts with them. So I had to go back and get them from them.If you do decide to go here, make an appointment first.

Great friendly and fast service! It can be extremely busy I got lucky coming day after 4th of July and wasn t busy in and out in an hour but definitely helps to schedule ahead of time.

I ve brought two vehicles to Discount Tires in the past month and have been very satisfied with the service, transparency, and efficiency of this location. I got new wheels and tires the first time, and they were willing to work with me on alternative solution that I m very happy with when the ones I ve ordered were out of stock. One minor complaint is that the tires weren t fully balanced the first time but I was able to get the issue resolved at the Discount Tire in Clackamas. We had discovered that Les Schwab patched a nail near the sidewall on my wife s Mazda CX-5 which could lead to a tire blowout at highway speeds a year earlier so we trusted bringing it to Discount Tire for a second opinion and to replace the tires on the vehicle. I always get the tire certificates because I firmly believe in the value they provide in the case of an emergency and I also really enjoy the transparency they have with the computer monitors facing the customer. Thanks Discount Tire, you ve earned yourself a lifelong customer!

I have been purchasing through them for many years, immediate family too. Austin very helpful, I asked for gold wheels, many spokes, less expensive side. Very happy with what he came back with. We went with Pathfinder tires, they are "store" brand, very happy with noise, comfort, ride. Wife has them on her truck too.Side note; my mother-in-law bought some tires. Wife ordered online due to the store being swamped from winter crowd. When they showed up for appointment, discount didn't have enough. They upgraded, free, no hassle. That was a wonderful gesture. They had to wait for a week as it was for the appointment they made.

Drove 2 hours to the Gresham store after setting up an appointment the day before. Arrived on time to a really busy shop at 11:30 AM. Got processed in and was told my new tires would take about 90 minutes to get done. Saw my truck pull into a bay and the new tire install began. About 45 minutes later, one of the the technicians called me over and said there was a problem with the tire inventory. He presented some alternative solutions, we agreed, and I ended up getting my truck back with a better product for less money in the same amount of time. Great job on the Discount Tire team to recognize a problem, share it with the customer (me) and execute an amenable solution. This is why I have been a Discount Tire customer since 1982.

Made an appointment for 1:30Arrived 15 minutes early and they said they wouldn t be able to do my bolt on service until 3:00. 1 -1/2 hour wait for a 15Minute service. Extremely disappointing since I can do it myself in less time and I had family in town. Ended up paying full price and had to bolt them on myself at home. So so so disappointed in the service. they are obviously overbooked and understaffed for the work they need to do.

Had a 5:30 appointment for a tire change (not walk in), said would be done in an hour which is long already for a tire swap appt. Came back at 6:30 and was told it might be done by 7. Really, 1 /12 hours or more for an already mounted and sensored tire swap? What a joke.
