I ve had a really difficult time with this repair shop. They initially refused to provide even a guess of repair time, even with an estimate provided by my insurance company. They do get points for at least trying to provide email updates 2x per week, but they don t do a good job of explaining what their updates actually mean in terms of completion. The repair completion timeline has been unclear and ever-changing. When I called to ask for clarification, the representative was extremely rude on the phone. At this point, I just feel defeated. The repair shop has not provided any sort of cost/time estimate and I m scared to find out what they come up with after all of these delays.If you are a planner and looking for repairs for your only vehicle, I recommend going elsewhere. When it started taking longer than originally communicated and I asked about cancelling, they said that the car was disassembled and I was basically stuck in the sort of tone that suggested I was stupid for asking. Not customer-friendly if you re not very knowledgeable about cars or body work.As soon as I get my vehicle back from them (assuming I do eventually get my car back since we re going on 3 weeks and counting for what I understand is a basic bumper repair & paint job), I won t be returning.

They had my car for months, Everytime I called they give me another excuse. My last call they said their pervious employees were let go. I had a dent on my bumper but they had to take off half of my car to fix it? Now my lights don't work and my door seals aren t even placed on correctly. It s been over a year but I advise anyone don t go there.

Find another shop. At some point communication between them and my insurance broke down. I don't know who is to blame because both keep pointing fingers at each other. Long story short, Classic Collision thought my car was totaled and treated it as such. Insurance came back and said it was not totaled and Classic Collision said they couldn't work on it.The car gets moved to Ron Tonkin collision and I get the fun surprise that Classic Collision had thrown all of the loose parts into the interior, causing quite a bit of damage. There were also new paint chips on the driver and passenger exterior. Classic Collision denies they caused the damage, even though they contradict themselves by blaming my insurance as the reason why they handled the car poorly.One month later and they flat out refuse to respond to my insurance's calls or emails. Did my insurance communicate poorly? Probably, but Classic Collision still caused a couple thousand in damages to my car and refuses to take responsibility. If Classic Collision truly felt they didn t cause any damage and there was no proof, they wouldn t be trying to avoid a conversation with my insurance. If something goes wrong with your repair I wouldn't expect them to make things right.

Will update when my vehicle is finished. Dropped off my vehicle for a rear end repair.. 1 of the 3 repair shops State Farm recommends. Can't give an eta of completion. Can't order parts ahead of time so they can maximize efficiency. I mentioned reviews say up to a month to complete work and I didn't get a denial of reviews. This is all the info I want to mention.Update: Dropped off Tuesday. Thursday they are finally taking vehicle apart. Why didn't they just have me drop off on Thursday so I can use my vehicle for a extra 2 days.It is now Monday at noon. My updates on carwise link they sent me, shows started. 6 days later from drop off and it's been started. Sounds like they secretly charge the insurance company for storage also. Remember, this is a tap of the rear bumper and replacing a tail light. The tail light was 300 and the bumper could have been left alone because it only has 2 small, small scraps of paint.Update: 1 week later after dropping the vehicle off. It will be a additional 3 days for all parts to arrive. Total of 10 days from vehicle drop off to all the parts arriving. Then completion date of repair after parts have arrived is a total of 2 weeks to reassemble. Knowing my luck, their gonna be finished on a Friday but won't let me know til the following Monday. All the vehicle really needed was a tail light. Next time, I'm just gonna spend the 300 for the tail light and install it myself or get the estimate of repair in the form or a check my state farm.

The worst body shop to get your car fixed not dun write and they won't fix it right. They are rude and not car please don't go there

This was the best customer service experience I have had in a long time!! I went in for an estimate on some repairs I needed. From the first phone call to schedule to minute I drove away from their shop I was treated so so well! Their staff is friendly, honest and very accommodating!I had some damage I thought needed new paint. Joe spent 45 min buffing and cleaning until my car looked like new! No paint need. And the most amazing part? They didn't even charge me for their time!! They said word of mouth is what drives their business. Amazing! Just got my car back today. It got hit pretty bad, but the team here did a fantastic job. I am more then happy with the repairs. She looks like she just came off the factory floor. The staff here are very friendly, and kept me informed about my car. I appreciate the work y'all did and hopefully I don't get hit in the future, but if I do I'll be back. Sally is back on the road.

Justin was my sales representative. He was awesome! He was very professional and personable, providing a detailed explanation for the entire process. He also got me set up in a rental car, taking care of all the details. Justin also kept me updated via the phone on the repair progress. When I picked up the van, everything had been professionally repaired and installed. They even cleaned the van, both inside and out. We had a little fender bender on New Year s Eve and the responsible party s insurance directed us to Central Auto Body for repairs. They were friendly and helpful. Our car was repaired and they detailed our entire car inside and out and it was completed a day ahead of schedule! I feel like I have a new car again! I would definitely recommend this repair shop for your needs, they did go above and beyond!Service: Body & Trim

I went in with two different insurance claims for my car and they understood everything. Was definitely one of the best experiences I have ever had. They went above and beyond for the job to get done. Not to forget that the part they needed to fix was on national backorder and they still got my car back to me in a timely manner. If I could I would definitely rate way higher than 5 stars!!! Had gotten a business card from Joe Robey, he had wonderful customer service skills. Chris has a positive and genuine demeanor with his customers and is honest and fair with his prices! My door hinges were bent due to high winds, and I just needed for my door to open and close properly. I decided not to get any cosmetic work done. He was able to quickly get the door working properly, and made the cosmetic damage look almost unnoticeable. He was great to work with. I will never go anywhere else for my car needs!

Took my Prius in for a collision repair to the Gresham shop. Got a good feeling from the first few moments talking with them! Was not disappointed in the least! Outstanding communication . Being updated on status of repairs and what delays were encounter! OEM parts. and the car looks new again! Great freaking JOB! Very Happy with the work . A real 5 star shop!Service: Body & Trim

We picked Central Auto Body without any experience or referral, so we really didn t know what to expect. They were close to where we live. Why not. VERY HAPPY we found them! Very friendly, the body work was great, and they even detailed the car and dropped it off in our driveway after they finished ahead of schedule. Knock on wood for no more accidents, but if that s our luck, they have our business from now on. Thank you again!!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I never write reviews, but I felt like I needed to write this! Someone hit my car so unfortunately I had to go to an auto body shop to get it fixed. They made my experience painless, they were so NICE!! Best customer service imaginable, they were quick and did an amazing job on my BMW. I will definitely be returning! TLDR: Lost my car. Took two months to repair a vandalized ignition system. Said they would pay for car rental. Did not pay. Did not communicate thoroughly at all.This shop began my experience by rejecting a tow from Geico which they had been informed about. They did not contact me, or Geico, resulting in my car being lost for two weeks. It took them about a month to get it into the shop. Then it took them another month to get the electric repaired. My rental coverage through Geico only covers a month. Geico called an executive from their organization and it was agreed upon that they would cover my extended car rental costs. They said they would do so, and now two months later I am stuck with a rental bill of 695 dollars. Only use this shop if you want to risk a thousand dollars and being without your car for two months.Service: Electrical

Chris is awesome! We purchased our Dodge from the Gresham Dodge dealership along with a warranty so we had been bringing our vehicle there. Recently we were told by the dealership that we needed to replace a part that was conveniently not covered on the warranty. We went back and forth with them about the misrepresentation of the warranty and ended up deciding to bring our money elsewhere. We brought our vehicle to Chris and within a few hours we received a call telling us that the part that the dealership wanted to replace (hundreds of dollars) was not in fact broken at all. It was an electronic part that merely needed to be reset. Chris saved us hundreds of dollars in repairs! Chris's Car Care is honest, quick, and friendly. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone.

If you re looking for a Auto Body shop, I highly recommended Central Auto Body in Gresham. They took my car in right away, while other places didn t have availability for a week. They kept us updated and were sooo friendly and caring and also washed and vacuumed our can upon returning it! Plus they did an amazing job on he car. It looks like a whole new car. My Husband and I have been to many places before, but by far this place is the absolute best Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I would recommend this business to anyone. Chris is a star! Friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, helpful and honest. He must have been a boy scout in his youth! ha! His prices are more than good, and they did an excellent job on my car. And I was very pleased getting into my car to drive away to find that they had not only performed excellent work, but had washed, waxed and polished my car inside and out, tires included. It was vacuumed and spotless. And as to any negative reviews, remember 2% of the people are always going to be unhappy about something.

I can honestly say that we found a great place too work on our vehicles, Chris and his crew were great and we can't forget Beth, they all are very friendly. We will definitely be bring our vehicles back in the future and letting other family members know that Chris's Car Care is the place to come. Reasonable rates with a smile and a big hug. Our truck is running great. A+.

I was nervous when I went to call Chris' Car Care (who I had used for over a decade for all my paint/body repair needs) and saw that they were under new ownership and now called Central Auto Body. I decided to give them a shot and couldn't be more pleased with my experience. Joe was was professional and courteous throughout the whole process, and went above and beyond! Not only does my paint job on the back on my minivan look flawless, it was turned around in the timeframe he gave me, and he performed the work at a reasonable cost that matched the other quotes I received from other local body shops. He was communicative throughout the whole process and even threw in a little extra work on my vehicle at no charge! I'm glad I don't have to find a new autobody shop... WILL RETURN AGAIN! Can t say enough good stuff about these guys. Not only did they get my car done and the exact time they stated but they did a phenomenal job. If you are looking for a body shop that is honest and gets the job done quickly I highly recommend these guys. Bret specifically is the man!

My truck had sudden mechanical issues and needed immediate repair. The dealer was booked out and unable to take it for repair. Chris was recommended to me by co-worker, and Im so happy they did ! I was treated exceptionally well from start to finish by every person I interacted with there. Chris is amazing, as was JJ at the front desk! My vehicle was diagnosed, fair quote given , and repaired in less time than was originally thought. I would recommend this business to anyone seeking fair and honest work, and done with a smile ! Chris and his crew are by far the best, most honest, reliable, and fairly priced mechanics. I've been taking my cars to Chris and the owner before him for years. As a single woman it's hard to find someone honest. Chris takes pride in his work and having his customers coming back...i've recommended him to many people.
