Just imagine a Walmart tire center Yup, completely incompetent. Order tires online waited weeks for an appointment. They couldn't do it.

0/10 would not recommend. Been here multiple times and it s almost like you guys are against making money, always some excuse that leaves me going to lesschwab. If I was you I d do away with the whole auto center you guys are exactly 0 help.

Came to buy tires for the great prices...left without tires because of "policy".You know, the policy that strong arms you into buying 4 tires instead of the 2 I requested.That is shady and predatory.

These guys are an absolute joke, i sat there an waited for the guy behind the counter to put one tire on a wheel. After over two hours of waiting. Staring this "manager" in the face and checking out the other automotive items i had purchased i asked him how much longer, to which he looked around and said oh its been done for awhile now and rolled it out from behind a counter. Then today they told my kids grandma that they could not put a spare tire on her car because those were for driving to a "safe" place to get towed from. These peoples are absolute clowns. I have wokred at many shops locally and the top tix from bad repairs have been walmarts stripped oil pans. Stay clear!

Walmart sucks but like I always have to go there for stuff sometimes they actually carry what I need so 2 stars the workers are smoked.

Free tire mounting (on Walmart sold) fairly inexpensive balance includes lifetime rotate and not much of a wait. A wait yes, but not too bad. Its first come first serve.

Good people working here. Unfortunately the website and in real life are far off. Websites worthless or the center refuses to abide by it. Dunno. Dont trust them when they say "I checked the lugs torque 3x. Two tires had maybe 3lb/ft torque on lugs lol less than say finger tight! I checked after driving home like my dad taught me too. I was very lucky. Still a good experience though.

I will only buy batteries at a real auto parts store from now on..I brought in two warranted car batteries. I was told it could take up to an hour and a half per battery. The man was awful rude- too busy to tell a peasant anything. They took my number, but never called. They didn't give a claim check or anything. I called them. They told me I had to come in. With no info over the phone. I live 40 minutes away... two trips to town is 160 miles, to be told they're fine and I'm dumb.

Waited for 3 hours and I just needed this taken care of. Several cars got pulled In front of mine and they tried saying they had appointments, little did they know I knew two of the people whose cars were pulled in front of mine and they did not have appointments

do not waste your time coming to this Grants pass Walmart tire center go to eagle point if you can or anywhere else they are so uptight about rules. I purchased tires on their site online last year and they can't put them on different rims because they're over 10years old?? I'm in the system. Go to Eagle Point tire center instead. This isn't the firsttime they've been very unreasonable. Never again Grants pass Walmart tire center.Service: Tire rotations

I couldn't get anyone to answer the phone for most of a day. I then had to wait for a call back to get an estimate. It seems it would be a good practice to have someone on phones and questions. Then it would free up your techs to do their things. Not getting stuck on the phone.

Went to the auto care center desk and asked an employee wearing a mechanics shirt if I could make an appt to get a new battery. Was told I had to go find someone else to help me. Then went to speak with the supervisor in auto care and was blown off and told they don't change batteries, then he turned around and said they do. Evidently employees in auto care don't know their job, services they provide or any decent customer service. 8/5/21

Was super disappointed with the tire center! I called not once, not twice but FOUR 4 times to confirm that they could put on two front tires for me because mine are bald; even gave them all the Information on my back tires so that there wasn't any problems due to the fact I had to drive a total of 50 miles pregnant && with a toddler on very bald tires just for their convient prices to fit my budget.. When I got there I was told they could not do it for me..

You must remember, THIS IS WALMART. Yes, it takes longer than an actual tire shop. You do not get employees running to serve you like LS employees. They don't carry a lot of inventory. Maybe 1-2 stiles off the most common sizes. Their employees don't live the fast paced high pressure sales life as actual tire shop employees. They are underpaid and have to deal with a crowd that expects them to give world class service.So why four stars... PRICING! They are literally 25-50% less than anyone in town. Do not put yourself on a time constraint. Do not complain about having to lug your 5 kids around while waiting. Don't expect them to do any work outside of industry standards. If you follow this advice you will save hundreds of dollars and have a good experience.

Went in to get 2 tires changed out with some other ones I already had and price was fair but I got quoted an hour of work even though the shop had 1 car in it and 4 "mechanics" which is fine but it ended up takin 2 hours when they were not busy. They would work on my car for 5 min and start doing something else and stretched out the work so hard I was left in awe. I've worked in a few shops myself and the way these guys work is at tell pace of 90 year old man. I will never come back and sure as hell won't recommend this place to anyone.

*They refused to replace my front tires because my rear tires were "just barely" too worn.*I had just come from Eugene and was continuing South, but my front tires were in shreds. (Literally shreds, torn belts and all.) I would have gotten new ones sooner, but hey, money's tight.Apparently just that morning the manager decided to enforce the decision that new tires MUST go on the rear and the rear rotated to the front, after attending some form of "training." Before this, they had a waiver that could be signed.My rear tires, apparently not meeting their criteria, could not be rotated. Ergo, "you'll have to get four or go somewhere else." The issues with that are three fold.- I cannot afford anywhere else, let alone a full set.- No other shop was going to be open by the time I could get there.- I would have to continue to drive on those tires, putting my health and vehicle at risk.All of this because they claim to know what's best for my safety. (Read: a poor excuse to push sales.) Well good job, because I was apparently the 6th person they had to turn away that day!I just want to end with this: Sorry, hourly employees, I know your hands are tied. I've been in retail, and it blows.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Absolutely trash service, no communication on how the process goes, just hands us a tag and has us get out of the car, one car in the shop when we pulled in and it took them over 2 hours.

I took 4 sand paddles I'm for my quad. They didn't clean the beads on any of them and also ruined one tire. Couldn't believe it. After i called them on it he denied responsibility and said he wouldn't buy a new tire. After on hold for 15 minutes the manager finally got back on the phone and agreed to pay for it. Terrible place when it comes to doing a good job

I have had much better experiences at the auto care dept. However, I was the only car in bay 1; 40 minute wait turned into almost 2 hours. Not fun with a 16 month old who was missing her nap.

I experienced an unexpected issue with my car while traveling through Grants Pass last Sunday, and Walmart Auto Center was one of the only mechanics' shops open. Charlie provided friendly, efficient and knowledgable service and helped me get back on the road safely. He is an asset to the Grants Pass Walmart Auto Care Center.

In the beginning, they were great at oil changes.. 30-40 min, not bad. The last couple times they diverted my oil change by saying I m just warning it s going to take several hours with only 2-3 cars ahead of mine. Seems like they don t want the business. I ll go somewhere else

I just called to ask for the price of an oil change. After quoting me the price, I asked if that included the oil filter. I was told that they would put one in "IF" they had one that fits my car. He was satisfied with his answer, and was ready to get off the phone. I asked if he could check now to see if they had one for my car. He asked my car's make and model. After I gave it to him, he said "we most likely have one"!! I asked, "you most likely have one"? ....... no response. Really? He did not even look for it!! Am I to take a chance, go down there, have my oil changed, and then drive elsewhere to look for a filter and have it installed if they did not have it? I thanked him and got off the phone. Can't believe the lack of interest.

Tire shop closes at 7pm. I pulled up at 6:07pm and the attendant said sorry we're closed. I said I need a patch my tire is going flat. He replied come back tomorrow. I said I'm traveling and I'm going to be stuck here tonight. He shook his head again. I said dude I'll tip you out if you do it. He said alright. I had to bride the workers to do there job. Now I know why I only go to Costco or les swab

Recently had some tires replaced there after a road hazard mishap. When the tires were purchased we were told the warranty would cover anything that happens barring an obvious accident but despite these tires being recently purchased they did not honor the road hazard warranty; very disappointing but they were professional so I give some credit.

Arrived @8:22 am with no one in line. It took over 2 1/2 hours to install 4 tires. The workers wasted as much time as possible. I will never have anyrhing done at walmart again.

Always has been and always will be the WORST EVER. Every time I have been here I have been aggrevated beyond belief at the incompetence and lack of effort here. Came here again because I had no choice. They were the only shop open today and I had a couple hours to kill. The guy told me it would be two hours. I told him that was too long, I have three small children with me. I would come back another time. The other guy comes out says they can fet on it in 30 mins. Ok, deal. 2 hours later I come to see how progress is movin along. One tire is off rendering me stuck until they finish. None of the new tires have even been mounted. WOW.

Showed up one night for a rotate a balance. Was told they wouldn't be able to get to me before they closed. This was 3 hours before closing. Showed up early morning only 1 car in the shop with 6 mechanics standing around. Hours later my rotate and balance is finally completed

They were very helpful and I got exactly what I needed, after going somewhere else and getting the run around and being refused service because I only needed one tire, it was nice to be treated like a human being. I will go back here for my tire needs from now on.
