Once again Great Job! Both my headlights were glazed over making it difficult to see. I went to a detailing shop and they buffed it out, but it only lasted one month and looked OK. Brought it here and it looks amazing! They guarantee the lamps for one year, but said it would last closer to 2. They also changed a door lock actuator. Great job, Curtis is the man! Got me in quick and got her done! This shop is trustworthy and does a great job! Thank you!

TOTALLY IMPRESSED: Was so impressed how just a few maintenance replacement parts contributed to a smoother, quieter ride while I drove my '97 Buick Regal with original parts home from the shop. Also impressed after having quotes from other dealerships the fee from AutoSmith was much less & do-able. Issues with my car were explained in detail & they keep me informed if they find other problems. I believe this is an honest & trustworthy shop that will keep my car on the road for yrs to come.

I recently took my Chevy Impala in for service. I went back to pick it up next Day. Curtis told me the pulley on the water pump is going out. Few days later it went out. Got the car their just in time. I appreciate him being hounest. Definitely will bring the car in for More repairs.

Ihonest. Have used these guys several times and love the service.I had my car in for brakes and a quick inspection. They said it looked like the joint that holds the tire on needed to be replaced. I said ok.They ordered the part but when it came to it they told meit really didn't need it. They charged me nothing. Knowing they would not just replace a part that doesn't need it makes me trust they are honest.

I have a Ford Flex that had a failed power transfer unit. This is a large, expensive part that bolts to the transmission and sends power to the rear and front axles (transfer case). I solicited three quotes for the repair and The Autosmith was the lowest by over $1000.00. Now I am not always a "cheaper is better" kind of guy because usually you get what you pay for, but I've had previous experience with them and have been pleased. I had to wait a few weeks for the appointment (they are busy because they are good) and dropped off the Flex. I had added an oil change, coolant flush, and fluid change for the rear differential. The repairs were completed quickly, within a day and a half, AND was told when they were going to change the rear diff fluid it was clean and in good condition so no need to change it. What mechanic does that... turns down easy money from a request. Autosmith does that. Additionally, I asked to keep the failed PTU so that I can dissect it with my grandsons so they can learn how a differential/transfer case works. The good folks not only wrapped up the old, heavy, greasy part, they loaded into the Flex. All of this is good solid customer service. Finally, Curtis at the front counter was courteous, knowledgeable, and prompt with his callbacks. He even offered to stay late if I wanted to pick the vehicle up. This is a quality shop with top shelf people. I own seven vehicles, I will be back!Services: Transmission repair, Oil change

Went in for general service, I met with the Owner, Greg. He explained what was needed then quoted me a very fair price. Took a walk to grab some coffee, came back in and hour and aHalf. My Explorer was ready as when he stated it would be. Absolute no problems, fair price. I would highly recommend Auto Smith for all you needs, thanks Greg.

Professional, figured out the problem with both my vehicles, fixed the problem with no hassles quickly! Curtis went above and beyond willing to text me as needed. My Dad found this shop and we have taken all our cars here. Took truck in yesterday and they got the job done yesterday that was a long job but they got it done and completed. Always have been super friendly and very professional and very reasonably priced. We will continue to take our vehicles here. Thank you so much!!!

Autosmith recently replaced a rear wheel bearing on my car - just one instance among many over the years where Greg and Autosmith have provided repair and support for me and my vehicles in a timely, professional and superior fashion. I wouldn t trust any other mechanic with maintenance on my cars and would even have my car towed there for repair rather than go elsewhere and I live over 100 miles from from their shop!John Day

First off let me say I'm a mechanic and never let anybody ever work on my cars. I've known Greg for some time now and trust him implicitly. Honor, integrity, honesty, and skillfulness are just some of the words I would use to describe him. Just had an alignment and tires balanced, and the work was flawless. I don't have an alignment rack where I work so I couldn't do it myself, Otherwise I would have. Whenever I need work done that I'm not able to do, I take it to greg .

I had my explorer worked on by this shop and I won't say they didn't do a good job fixing the issue because it has only been a few weeks but so far it is good, but it did take two weeks from the scheduled start date May 17th to get my vehicle back May 28th. Now I have a check engine light on which takes 5 minutes to hook up and check and he said he might be able to get to it by the end of the day or tomorrow. All I wanna know is what the light is on for. But if you want to wait a while to get your vehicle fixed this is the place for you. Also very rare to catch him in the shop Thursday or Friday.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

They checked my front brakes. My tire fell off on 7th st. Greg claims he didn t take the tire off to check the brakes. All 5 LOCKING lugs were off. Causing damage to the fender, quarter panel and brake rotor. If Greg was honest, I would of let it go with a refund but instead he chose to lie. Never again. Cross posting in all southern Oregon social media outlets.

Hi I've been taking my car to Autosmith for over 7 year. I've never had a problem with any of the work he has done on my Suburban and there has been a lot. His est. are right on for anything I had done. I stopped going to the dealer because it cost more and the work done wasn't the quality of Autosmith.My brother also takes his car there. He wanted to throw his 2 cents in. Doesn't have a computer, I can't believe it and no cell phone. He also had problems with a different dealer,cost and quality of work. He has had no problems with Autosmith to date. If there was problem Autosmith stands behind there work.Thanks,Jim

My appointment was 9:30 for a Simple Oil Change, which I brought my own supplies to save $$. I didn't get out until 10:40. I know personally its doesn't take that long. I only observed two mechanics within the whole shop which would explain why the man I spoke with wasn't very polite because he was over worked, & short handed. No I personally won't return because I don't have the extra time to wait any longer for something that should take half the time I was there for an Oil Change.

I was first introduced to AutoSmith by a friend of mine and their customer for 20+ years. I am now an extremely satisfied customer of more than 10 years. Greg and his mechanics have always been there to service my vehicles on an emergency basis as well as routine maintenance. They have given me expert advice on care of my vehicles as well as helping me understand what and why something has broken.I have and will continue to refer friends of mine to AutoSmith. I never right a review. I believe this place to be the best car repair place on the planet! I have a dodge truck that breaks down every other month. All I have to do is call him and he helps me. They are very resonable and speedy. I am very glad I discovered The Autosmith. I am glad to know that honesty is still out there.

I am not sure what happened to my orginal review. I came back to update it. On July 7, '17 I had autosmith do some work on my diesel truck. One of the things I needed done was adjust the E brake cable. (LR was warm once when RR was not and the E brake would not hold my truck on a small hill) They checked it by using my diesel engine to try to go with the E brake on. Mistake number one in my opinion. Mistake two was they tried it on flat ground and said it was fine and refused to adjust it! So fast forward 13 months, I'd been dealing with no E brake, having to shut truck off to get through gate at my driveway and again to close the gate etc. I had googled it and evidently came upon a more difficult way to adjust the brake cable. I had never done it before nor had I ever seen it done. So I lived without it. My friend checked it yesterday. A couple turns with an open end 1/2" wrench and it was much better. I was shocked. I said I know it can be better yet as I still had to mash the peddle down a little more than needed. So he did a few more turns and wow, it works! That isn't the only reason I was unhappy about autosmith, but that sure was the one that made me never want to go to them again. If they reply to this, I do not plan to argue back and forth. I keep diligent notes, I know my truck and I know that the E brake was not right the day I took it to them. He was rude when I called and told him that day when I came home that it didn't work to try to get in my driveway and he would not make it right and said that we didn't have a good relationship!

After 2.5 months I still have not gotten my car back. We have paid over 2000 part of which was for misdiagnosis and have dealt with wrong parts being ordered as well as lack of interest. When I asked when I would receive my car back from here I was yelled at by the man that works there saying he didn't even want to do it and he didn't know when it would be done. As a mechanic I figured he could give me a date but apparently that is not something he is smart enough to do.
