My Toyota was totaled after a whopping 27 mph crash that didn t even cause airbags to deploy. Pretty fishy if you ask me. Piss poor service, couldn t even take the time to show me why it was deemed a total loss. Accident happened February 11th, insurance company sucks too, still don t have a vehicle to drive.

The people at Star are friendly and professional. Hannah works at the front desk and does a wonderful job keeping you up date on the repairs done to your vehicle. I communicated everything that was needed to complete the repair and remove (2 plastic clip protectors that are attached with double sided tape) the bed cover. It really wasn't a difficult job. The passenger side front door and quarter panel had been hit and wasn't a major repair. I was told everything would be taken care of...1. The clips were removed and thrown out. This has now damaged the latch on the cover.2. There is still a dent in the upper passenger door. The paint is not very good and the buffing left streaks. They didn't bother detailing anything. This has always been normal practice in any body shop.3. There was sanding and rubbing compound in the bed of the truck and on the passenger seat.4. I was told they would find parts and get back to me. That never happened.Now that I moved for my job the truck will never be repaired properly. My schedule is almost always full, so I don't have time to go back and forth. This should have been repaired the first time. I guess they got paid.I worked in a body shop for years and things have obviously gone from quality to quantity.

Do not take your car to star body shawn was not professional and didnt even look at my car for the estimate. Shawn never spoke to me about the damages and created an estimate based off pictures which was not accurate. The lady that checked me was a fill in and had no place in the front office as she didnt communicate or have any idea of what to do. She acted as if she was listening and was going to relay my damages to shawn but didnt communicate the damages that i had to my vehicle. I had to call my ins adjuster to have them talk to shawn because he lied about what damage he was aware of. Shawn did a horrable and unprofessional job when it came to the estimate and the inital check in for reapir to my vheicle.hopefuly the work will be better then the estimate process and drop off.

Everyone reads the 1 star reviews, and that can scare people off. But I'll throw another 5 stars at them. My insurance told me two shops I could use and I chose this one and I'm thrilled I did. I have had work done on my truck at other places and had horrible experiences. This time I just dropped it off, gave them the insurance info and got my truck back when it was done, which was in a perfectly sensible time frame. They even handled my aftermarket parts that I had added myself with respect and took care of any damage to those as well. They cleaned it outside and in. I felt like I drove away in a new truck instead of my 15 year old dirt wagon. I won't hesitate to go back the next time I hit a deer. All of it saw very professional and hands off on my part. Just took it in, it got fixed, I got it back. Easy. I'll take it back to them any time.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Absolutely amazing!! My SUV died middle of the night. stuck on the side of the road. It was supposed to be an hour wait. Guy saw where my location was and came within 20 minutes because I guess it wasn't a safe part of town. Thank you so much!!

TERRIBLE SERVICE - Left my car a streaky, swirly mess! Their half-assed wash left dirt smears and bird poop on hood, sideview mirrors, and trunk! When I pointed this out to the employee, he said I could come back for another wash or he could just wipe it off. When I pointed out the swirls and scratches, he got a bad attitude and "guaranteed" those were already there before. I asked to speak to a mamager, was told none were there and I'd have to call tomorrow.

Started out with great communication. Person we were working with left the company and no one called us. We reached out and were notified of the change, days later. When appt time came, we dropped off car and picked up rental. No time frame provided. Given link to follow car care progress. No one kept the link updated so useless tool. Finally stopped in 1 week later! and they were detailing the car and the work was done. No communication was found though they said they called a few days previous but no VM found on my phone. The detailing was a nice touch but replacing a gas tank door shouldn't have taken a week.Service: Body & Trim

From the beginning of this stressful experience Star employees were friendly and encouraging and reassuring. Not only did they follow through with excellent repairs and communication; Star covered the expense of my rental over a weekend, after insurance ran out on a Friday (my bday). I was then loaned a car to drive until my repairs were complete. Unforseen circumstances had lengthened the time it took to complete repairs. Reminds me of the good old days when a hand shake meant something. Thank you very much Star Automotive.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

The bumper of my Lexus had started to separate from the drivers side fender for some reason. I had taken it to the Toyota dealer and they refer all their body work out to Star. I pulled in without an appointment to ask them about fixing it and met with Richard. He was working on something at his desk but quickly jumped up to come outside and take a look. Richard found that that clips that hold the bumper had started to fail on the drivers side. He suggested that at some point in the future I would need to replace the bumper to fix permanently. At the same time, he took the extra time to retrieve some tools and was able to fasten and tighten the two pieces back together, which have held since.I can't say enough good things about Richard and Star Body Works. I had no appointment and he stopped everything he was doing to help me. What great service!I've rarely ever needed body shop work on any of my cars, but if I ever do, I will be using Star Body Works for anything I ever need in the future!!Great service. Thank you!!!

I took my car to Star for repairs after a collision and they were amazing. They kept in touch with me every step of the way. Every member of the staff was polite, professional, courteous and kind. They had my repairs completed as promised on the day they promised. Answered any and all questions I had no matter how trivial they seemed. All of their repair work is guaranteed for the life of the vehicle, which not only furthers my confidence in their work but truly puts me at ease knowing my car was in such capable hands. They were prompt, courteous, and explained fully what would be done. They knew their job well. When my repairs were done not only were they beautiful but my whole car was washed and cleaned. In far better condition than I left it. Afterwards they explained what they did and and gave me a card for 3 hand washes to make sure the work they did was not damaged. They were wonderful. I highly. Recommend them. You won t be sorry.

The insurance of the person who rear ended me had this as the only certified shop. So I went here. They ve taken my truck in now twice and I m still not satisfied at all. All that appeared to have been done the first time was replace the rear bumper. My whole accident was over looked like no big deal. I was happy about a new bumper after taking 2 weeks. But I noticed I still had a dent and chipping paint at the point of impact, as pictured after picking it up. So I told them and I appreciated they would fix it no problem.. Well Tyler the manager told me over the phone we will replace that bumper guard piece no problem and make sure there is nothing else that we over looked Well, I pick my vehicle up for the second time after a week. It s still bent. The same piece they just painted over it. The paint is coming off, I even told Dayna that when we were looking over it when I picked it up. This is a brand new truck under 27k miles. It wasn t like this before the accident. Not happy with this work and I would not recommend.

Allstate insurance sent me to this shop for an estimate and scheduled repairs. I arrived as the shop opened and no one was in the office. I stood at the front door from 8am to about 8:25am before making contact with any employees. They are extremely understaffed. When I did get greeted I was told that they would be unable to schedule any repairs for two months. When I mentioned that this might be too long for me to wait for my car to be repaired from relatively minor damages I was told that, "there would be no point in (the shop) doing the estimate" on my car. I would recommend against taking your vehicle to this shop. Poor service, lack of efficiency for the customer, very understaffed and egregiously long waits for scheduling repairs. Frustrating experience overall.

Jaime showed utmost customer service as he took the time and showed great patience with my insurance representative as well as maintained good customer care. Star Body not only kept me up to date with my repairs, but finished in 5 days...a whole 12 days before I was quoted. Thank you Star Body Team for great service and great work, my truck looks brand new!

Very nice, professional staff. Super clean facility. They are detail oriented and provide good information. Appreciated having a nice loaner. Only negative is we didn't get any of the text updates due to them using a phone number we no longer have. Would have been good to check on phone number before using it since I didn't give them that number. Must have been on our insurance info. They worked directly with our insurance which is also great service. Would have given them a five star rating if not for the text problem. I would defintely return to them if needed.

I had exceptional customer service from the very beginning of my car repair needs. Jamie was incredibly helpful, knowledgable and pleasant to work with. He kept me informed every step of the way. He went above and beyond to help answer my questions and address any concerns. My work was completed earlier than expected and I am super happy with the outcome. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Star and/or return if repairs are needed in the future.Thank you!

Called often to keep me apprised on the status of my car. Gave me a loaner to use,absorbed 200$ off my deductible. Car looked great also came back with lifetime warranty an their work.also gave me 6 car washes and gave me a 25 dollar gift certificate! Wow I recommend them all day long

In my estimation, there's only one shop I'd go to and recommend, and that's Star. As a lady, I felt totally comfortable and informed with their explanations of the repairs and never felt overwhelmed with the procedures, the work is excellent, I was kept up to date, and most of all, they are never too busy to answer my questions, even on the phone! They're amazing and I will never trust my car with anyone else, they all deserve a raise
